You and LLB knock ALL of your covers out of the park! I especially love these Skynyrd tunes. One of their biggest fans and I love to butcher the ones I think I know. I hope you do many more so I can learn them correctly. All I can do is write about it would be one I like you all to cover as well as things goin on. Please! TIA
we all greatly appreciate you sharing your love of LS with us by watching the vids! we sure had a great time with this project and are glad we hit one of your fave bands!
Thank you so much. You are awesome & a wonderful teacher. Thnx for takin' time & doin these tutorials. Love Skynyrd, nothing better (along with old AC/DC) 😅 Thnx 😎 🎸
Just got home from a long, tough day at work and found this lesson awaiting! This is a Fun Lesson, what a fun pick me up Dale!! BTW, I also just received my brand now triangular shaped Wegen Picks! Way cool! Thank you, John
Maybe you've covered the solos already, but in case you haven't, I'd definitely watch for that if you decide to. Thanks for putting forth so many enjoyable, yet challenging songs!
Great lesson Sir. Learned a bunch! I thought I was a compulsive guitar buyer. Then I noticed the untold amount of cases behind you...I know longer feel guilty! You have my vote for video of the year!!!...Keep up the fine work please.
Dale, question please: You're and extreme Skynyrd fan like many on here. Where can we find tabs on Wino please? OR! Could you do a lesson? I'd be grateful. I can't find anything on the songs' solo.
i wish i could direct you to tab but i honestly don't know - tab on the internet can be perfect to so wrong it shouldn't have been posted. I promise i'll give it a new listen..
working on it! I used to play this in a cover band back in the 80s, of course I played drums. One of my favorite songs to play In those days we had a killer guitar player, he went on to work with Confederate Railroad, fun times. Thanks for the lesson
Great lesson, loved the LLB cover of this song too, excellent work. Inspiring to the point my band will learn this one as well! Like your Strat as well!
thanks so much for checking out the LLB vid and this one! It is such a great tune isn't it...and fun to play! Thanks for the kind post, your friend, dale.
Awesome, love a song that's not too hard to play. Especially when it has such of an attraction! Everyone loves a good foot stomper:-).. Thanks for the share!!
Your strat and Princeton are a classic match sound wise. What pedals are on ? How is you're board going ? It must be over a year now since you had it built . Thanks for the tutorial , I look forward to more LLB Lynyrd Skynyrd , you're band is sounding fantastic. cheers
hello sir! thanks so much for the post - for this video i just plugged the guitar straight into the amp - that's a crazy idea for me! I kinda like it so simple...but obviously wouldn't work all the time. Hope all is good your way, your friend, dale.
That is great news, the guitar sounds very" quacky" in that position. It must have special pickups and possibly special wiring. I think the bridge pickup and the middle pickup together sound fantastic. I don't know much about pickup wiring and "all that stuff" , I don't know why that " quack" happens but is sure sounds great. I'd love to know why the slightly "compressed" out of phase quack happens. i think the bridge and middle in that position are wired in parallel and the middle could be reverse wound or something like that. It just shows how effective this guitar sounds going straight into the amp, no effects except a touch of tube driven reverb.cheers Dale, thank you for your inspiration.
I'm loving this latest crop of new lessons. Thanks for all the excellent work. You're a great teacher.
thanks for taking your time to check them out...greatly appreciated!
