I have no particular preference on any brands on salted or sour plums, just get any that u can find from ur nearby supermarket

Why this steam style no need to throw the fishy water away like you do for the other videos?
Pomfret fish doesn’t has as much fishy water like other fish
@CookingAhPa so means if other fish.....then can't cook teochew style coz of the fishy water? Very smelly water ohhh
U can steam the fish by its own for first 2-3 minutes, throw away the fishy water, then only add in the teochew sauce to continue steaming.
