Thanks yet again Rob. As a side note, I currently work in Wichita, Kansas. LT Bleckley was from this area. An airplane of the same type he was flying as observer in when shot down is undergoing restoration here and will be painted in his squadron markings when completed. It will be going on display in the Eisenhower Airport here when finished. God bless, Rob

Great video, Rob. I second nukemdukem1 - thank you for sharing the stories of some of the troops buried in the Meuse Argonne American Cemetery. I would like to visit the cemetery.
Erwin Russell Bleckley is heroic. I don't think I could do that (to fly again in spite of knowing that a second attempt would be riskier, especially after coming under heavy fire).
Freddie Stowers' story is incredible. I don't know how he was able to carry on after being hit by machine gun fire the first time. That takes incredible strength and courage. It's horrible how he wasn't awarded the Medal of Honor much sooner. He is a hero also.
I think it's great how the chapel has a map of the battlefield. The stainless glass is beautiful and I love how they have all the divisions in the artwork. So many people missing - it was heartbreaking seeing so many names.
Oscar Miller is so brave also (and heroic too). I too don't know how he was able to keep charging in spite of being shot. I saw on his tombstone that he's from California (though I know you also said that he worked in Little Rock). As a Californian myself, it was great to learn more about a veteran from the same state.
I wonder if Eddie Grant is also one of the first MLB players who served in combat (not sure when the MLB began, but I am curious about that, especially since he was the first MLB player to die in the first World War). Sad that he was killed. He was selfless and courageous also (and I admire how he took command after his commanding officers were killed or wounded).
Superb video again, Rob. I was moved by the stories and am grateful to have learned the stories of a few of the soldiers. Thanks so much again for sharing.
Hope you're having a nice day Rob. Have a marvelous weekend :).

In your thumbnail. I noticed that the African American soldier, possibly a Harlem Hellfighter, was wearing a strangely shaped helmet. Very highly decorated regiment. I'll let you do the research. Interesting history. Battle of Bamber Bridge WW2. I despise racism, yet some people either deliberately mistake my opinions as bigoted. SocMed is a quagmire. I love books. Thomas Sowell and Aayan Hirsi Ali are among my favourite authors.
Aayan Hirsi Ali is married to the Scottish born, American historian, Niall Ferguson. (Book) > The Pity of War. Cannot yet recommend, as just started reading. Again. Thank you sincerely. I wonder if this will work. I wonder if I could indulge you? I am also a huge metalhead. It's in my blood. Only 4 minutes.
