A wonderful, unique organisation of which I am a supporter. Am always amazed, impressed, and absorbed learning about the breadth of what they do - have loved hearing here about the efforts to recognise and commemorate the fallen in Kenya. It's always heartening too to hear about their efforts to identify discovered remains. A CWGC cemetery is a beautiful, evocative, respectful place, and always immaculately kept. What is particularly satisfying is that what they do and continue to do will endure long beyond any one lifetime which is a reassuring thing to know. Absolute respect for the CWGC and the Foundation.
It is indeed a wonderful machine, the sites are always in immaculate conditions. Thank you CWGC. I always take the time to visit CWGC sites when i'm travelling. #wewillrememberthem
Such wonderful work! As an American, I only wish the American Battlefield Memorial Commission was more proactive in its efforts to tell the stories of those in their care.
I hope that chap finds his great uncles resting place so his family can have closure, sadly shows the impact the loss of family members can have on future generations
