@21:00 after the graceful gymnastic floor routine on the deck of the boat, I swear I saw the water level drop when he pulled that tank out of the water. 👍🍺🎣
Great break down of tactics and thought process. Thanks for another awesome vid. I really like it when you guys talk about the fishing style/retrieves/what to look & feel for. It helps a lot!
I know guys who hunt big trout at night fishing a mouse fly. They will destroy it. If you are near a park on a lake, there are rodents. The love your explanation of things is so funny, and how we think of fish and how they think.
Man I see muskrats swimming across the pond here in chicago every morning when I'm fishing. Literally looks and swims exactly like a rat 🐀 let me tell ya we got some rats in chicago the size of squirrels. They don't play around and are aggressive haha. Straight from the south side of chiraq coming at ya!
Right on fellas,👍...I admire the commitment to big baits... its a different type of fishing... I have been running alot of late summer patterns on my lakes lately...but toward mid fall I am planning on making a commitment to bigger baits...2 or 3 rods... a glide... maybe a 6 inch swimbait then maybe a 8 or 10 inch swimbait...
This was such a fantastic video, gave me so many breakthrough thoughts about my fisheries. Talk about the moonphase please!! I’ve been paying attention to the moonphase and I want to see what you guys have to say about it.
Geoff, I'd like to know which big multi-piece bait you've personally had the most success with, and how does the new Rago x SU D3 fit into your summertime arsenal?
Wow!!!! So informative this is the year of the swim bait for me and not gonna lie it’s been a challenge. This video has been amazing. Can’t wait to try some of your ideas out. Thank you so much
Fun fact, on average a Largemouth Bass can swim 7x's it's body length a second. The fastest reel will never outrun a Bass if they really want it. Smallies can swim slightly faster.
Awesome video, stand in the parking lot and die comment was hilarious! I live in SC and it’s hot as you know what so appreciate the summer time tips. I don’t know how you guys do it in that heat out there. Thanks
I ve caught a couple fish on a mag draft freestyle but nothing bigger... im in Colorado alot of clear water trout fisherys... big Geoff what would you throw over big Boulder rock in pretty clear water?
I wanted to know about what swimbait outfits you guys would be suggesting. I have my eyes set on a levante 711 with either the 300 curado or tatula. What would be the Best all around big bait combo.
This was a rad video guys! This is the first time I’m seeing that Separ bait. That date looks awesome especially for fishing ponds around some thick vegetation. What Size beast hook would you recommend using on the 7 inch model?
On the 7 inch model u want to use a 8/0 beast hook an the 9 inch u want to use a 10/0 beast hook and they are great baits I have a couple packs an they swim amazing an look very natural but isn't a pond bait unless u have 4 to 5 pounders in ur ponds. So id use this more for bigger lakes or river channels near structure like wood or grass edge.
@@pewpewrn7565 I don't think so they are releasing some in Japan. So maybe u could scoop one on a Japanese forum or Japanese shops but doubt their gonna have enough for the US.
In the shop yesterday, it was awesome. Stuffed with the most amazing baits, and friendly staff. Bought the pb rat, and griff hooked me up with a free rig set up. Thanks guys for the video content and great support.
Your dn right there are alot of rodents around lakes. I assure you any bass 2-3 lbs is very familiar with rodents. I'm an avid duck hunter, and every marsh, or lake blind I've ever hunted has had rats and mice in them. I've had em come out and warm themselves in front of my heater numerous times in the winter. Sayin there's no catch and release in urban is so spot on. For the life of me, I don't understand why people won't let bass go, especially in an urban 5 acre or less pond. Do they think there's an endless supply of fish? I have a 20 acre pond by me in Charlotte, and there's either dinks, under the size limit or really big bass that know the game. I don't know how many times I've been releasing a 4-6 lb bass, and multiple people are asking if they can have it. Uhhh, NO! And I'm hiding what I caught it on...lol.
Completely unrelated to the video, does anyone have any tips for making time for fishing during college. Getting a little nervous that I’m not going to have time to rip lips once I leave. Thanks!

Awesome! Thank you for watching!
Love the visual description on how to fish the swimbaits. I believe in visualizing the bait and bite to anticipate ambush points etc

I don't even have a rod and reel to throw these humongous swimbaits, but it sounds like fun!
Those lakes look awesome. Wish we had those in Chicago.

Do you guys sell lightning repellent? I need some of that.

@@SneakersAnonymousMatt thanks for the advice. Ponds have some real good quality.
@@HookLife dang wish I had ponds like that or ponds only hold max 3lbers but they are aggressive but no prob man.
Does Geoff know if DRT will be dropping another set of Pulse Rods here in the US?
Would love to know this as well! Hey Jay!

People are pretty destructive but luckily for us they suck at fishing 🎣

Sunset sessions and night fishing when you can

Watch his UA-cam channel.
What Rat do you guys recommend and where to get it?

Do wake and bakes count
Don’t rub it in man 😭

Yeeeeep
Go big or go home is some people’s attitude, I have a technique that pisses and triggers them all.
