Part II was cancelled due to various things. Firstly, Part II never got all of its scenes finished. We had a lot of problems trying to get actors together all at once - resulting in many inconsistencies back in 2019-2020. A hardware problem on my old computer forced me into wiping my SSD, meaning that all the scenes pre-recorded for Part II before Part I got released were deleted. Part II will not be released. A remake of this fan-film is also unlikely but never say never. (Edit 7/15/24)
I'm sorry, I really want to like this but your Vader voice is so bad. It's like you just talked into a bucket or something. Try a voice synthesizer or talk into a fan or something.

@@elassit217 Thanks, to be honest me and Kinmal had absolutely no idea what we were doing I am just glad that it came out decent. I haven't seen Parasite yet but from what I hear I should definitively watch it. Thanks once again for the compliment this movie took way longer to make than it should have. Decided to listen to the audio book again after like 5 years or so. Decided to hit youtube to learn anything on project blackwing. And i find this. Im excited for more
I like the film, one of the best Blackwing films I have ever seen. One thing I don’t understand is why they didn’t use heavy weapons on the zombie hords though. The empire DID have machine guns, or should I say machine blasters, at hand. Just have a few heavies and a bunch of infantry start mowing zombies down.
Well there could have been a number of factors. 1: Since it is a mere research ship closer to the Unknown Regions instead of a patrol one going through the core and mid worlds where Rebel and Pirate activity are quite high, it wouldn't make sense to arm the security with anything beyond the standard Storm Trooper outfit and gear. A standard E-11 blaster has around 200 rounds per power pack so giving the grunts an LMG wouldn't make much sense would it since five clips is easily 1000 shots and would be more than adequate to deal with boarding pirates or rebels if they managed to make it aboard. 2: Even if they managed to have a few lmgs and set up kill zones with them, you have to remember just how durable the zombies actually are. On top of wearing armor, they don't really feel pain or take damage like a living person, with only the destruction of the head being a sure way of killing them. They could easily throw dozens of bodies at any one nest and eventually overwhelm it just by sheer aggressive attrition. 3: Unfortunately, the zombies are actually intelligent things with a hivemind mentality. They can grow to use weapons to rather simple but effective tactics, such as using machinery to lead on their prey into better traps or ambushes. If the infection spread quickly enough, they could have taken over the armories, cutting off any attempt to collect the more powerful gear
Great job. I read the book and listen to the audiobook. EA or Disney if one of them could do something more of Project Blackwing Virus could be hit of a film or a game.
Disney should not be allowed to touch the black wing virus cause they’d probably try and make it less violent but in a game well anything can go when it comes to zombies

Not anytime soon. I do not know how to reach out to the other actors that participated in Part I as I am no longer in contact with them. I am working on a new project that follows Vader after Revenge of the Sith, however. I do not know yet if that show is going to take spark yet because another persistent issue is finding actors who are willing to participate. It's not an easy task to group everyone together commitedly and find people in general. At this point, its up in the air.

No hate but I'm honestly surprised that they couldn't mix filters on their voice changers but.... GOD DAMN I LOVE THAT PALPATINE IMPRESSION and tbh I'm probs gonna cosplay as a blackwing stormtrooper
The cafeteria scene with the three stormtroopers was meant to be comedic relief the rest of the movie is suspense and action the next part if Kinmal and I ever get around to filming the rest is meant to be mostly horror, suspense, and action.
I did not expect this much story and dialogue in this but now I want more of it in part 2. I don't the emphasis on the action would make for as good of a viewing experience.
The final movie is going to have dialogue and story but it's going to highlight the action more than this one did. The first script, being Death Troopers Part I, just had way too much and the next one is going to downsize it to be more compact and fluid.
Not trying to insult any of the VAs in this project, but Ephiss clearly has the best voice acting. She gave a rather believable performance despite the few lines for her character.
A lot of the voice actors were just chosen as a result of the lack of people but, you're right, she definitely did a good job. She was actually going for film school at the time of this recording surprisingly enough.
the fact this looks like a stupid gmod skit made by a group of friends is just funny but its cool that you went into the effort of the whole story but i keep thinking one of them are ust gonna burst into laughter

For a fan film this is amazing I love the effort and attention given to this. What engine did you use? I'm also interested in tips you can give me for making my own fan films in the future.
We used a game called Garry’s Mod to record this. No animations whatsoever besides players getting together and doing specific movements. The game is available on PC for roughly 10 dollars and you don’t need the most powerful to run it. I would suggest having at least a decent computer to run video recording software and edit. I'm not sure if this was intentional or not, but this fan film seems more like a black comedy than full-on horror compared to the novel
it's not meant to be based off the novel. This is a complete separate story and script that we made.
