Well done Dave, I love the way you talk us through how you break down complex parts into simple processes and go about building them with basic tools in limited space. You’re a natural teacher. Thank you.
Thank you Ross, very kind of you
nice bit of fabrication done with simple tools and it just shows how easy these things can be done
Really enjoyed watching how you shaped that gear stick turret. Amazing what you can do with very basic tools without having to spend the earth on expensive equipment.
Glad you enjoyed the video Jason 😊
Very clever stuff 👍🏻
Nice one Russell.
Just one for the algorithm. Regards.
You really need the ring for the rubber cover a bit larger so that it is streched a bit.
impressed with the hole cut with the jigsaw. didn't know that was do-able. I've spent holes drilling holes out and filing
With a decent 24tpi metal blade, it works a treat.
Good bit of fabrication as always Dave. I cheated when I did my gearbox tunnel I cut out the gear lever opening section from my old tunnel and used that section as part of my gear lever turret for my new bigger tunnel.
as ever .....one very good and clever video well done dave and thanks for the thanks .bless you dave keep it going
Thanks, will do!
Great work Dave, thanks for sharing.
That is what this channel is all about 😊 The gas man in his garage making things for us to enjoy 🤩 Now winter is coming hopefully we will get more videos 😊
That's the plan!
Once again throughly enjoyed that Dave nice one, I did think maybe your having an off day whilst watching but glad your at it again fella ! And as for Mr Lord I enjoy his stuff too ambassadors to the Ford escorts !
Thank you Steve
Nice piece of work their. Dave ..
Spot on 👍 as usual, great job.
Fantastic skills again, do they never end! Great technique for forming looks the business. Take your time with the build Dave we’ve all loving it. Happy days!
Thanks Mick
Nice bit of fabrication turned out spot on 👌👍
Thanks 👍
You everything Dave good working escord phase 2😂😊 nice day greeting afz H H
That looks spot on Dave, worth the time and effort it took 👍.. mx5 hose ... You can get an alloy inline T with a sender take off .. but the bonus is , it will extend that hose slightly and it may well fit then
Thanks for the tip
Fantastic fabrication dave 👏 👍
Glad you like it
very nice work 👍👍👍👍
well done dave nice little project looks factory
Thank you
Well done, look neat
WOW! I just shows what you can make out of virtually nothing when you have a few basic tools and a mig welder. Absolutely brilliant.
Thank you very much!
lovely job
Excellent fabrication skills Dave.
Many thanks!
Always look forward to your fabricating videos Dave. Certainly don't want fluxcore fume issues affecting your health, excellent tip for us all!
Thank you
Well done Dave. The simple tools method is best content for me👍
Got rid of gasless wire years ago, gas all the way better all round my own personal opinion.
Fantastic job Dave. Know what you mean about the gasless, you never really see anyone worth their salt using it much, if at all. Please, please, get some sort of kneeling mat, or, I bought some of those gel knee pads from Screwfix and they are fantastic. I am 71 now, and my knees are knackered having not taken any care with them when I was younger. Look after yourself mate.
Thanks for the concern Bob 😊😊
Brilliant video Dave considering you have used basic tools it’s turned out brilliant
Lovely job Dave. I think you could have saved yourself a lot of time though by using a Princes Ham tin instead (& you could have had a nice meal out of the leftovers)
🤣🤣
Reminded me of a Hospital bed pan 😂😂
🤣🤣🤣
Seriously excellent fab skills Dave I’m quite amazed at your spanner skills I was impressed when you put the lip around the radiator panel but this was quite brilliantly done especially as your finished piece was really quite a complicated shape and you made it with a hammer and spanner ! This is why I love this channel it’s something I look forward to watching ..nice job mate 👍
Wow, thank you!
Im surprised you've still got fingers with those sharp edges you check for a finish. Lol
🤣 fingertips like leather
I see you have gone back to using gas with your welder. Did you fing that the fluxcore wire didn't work as well as you exoexted?
It worked fine, but it is messy
OOPS, should have watched it all before commenting.
😉
Nice job dave is the mig gas the same they use in the pub and as good as argon
I used to use 'pub' gas , works fine but does cause a few amount of splatter ... I'm on argon mix now .. big bottles , much cleaner weld
As per comment, I haven't tried argon mix, but happy with co2
