Surprised they haven't changed the name of those parts yet to be politically correct. And no it's not needed. There are tons of nonhydralic clutches, do better.
He explained a little and I understood a lot 😊😊 thank you for this demonstration sometimes we simply need few accurate data spoke out And everything is great 😮
Its also a great visial for someone who has driven standard for years and needs to understand how the parts work together... Especially since my engine and transmission are not normally paired together from the factory... That is to say I have an Isuzu engine and a Jeep transmission... Figure out which pieces of what clutch assembly I need...
I used to wear my belt like this because I CCW IWB. Once I got a proper belt I didn't need to anymore. Idk why it's on like that but it looks funny. Maybe that's the only comfortable way..
I still don't get it. I am holding a throw out bearing and it doesnt look like the splines rotate in it. How does the shift fork stay on the square slot on the throw out bearing if the whole bearing is spinning
@@adrianlovic6486 Thank you for explaining man, I thought i would get reponse in like several months lmao I understood everything now, I will try to look for a video that explains it graphically, thank u man, have A good day :) Edit: Typo :v
What could be the problem if it dont want to go in gears 1,2, and reverse when ure engine gets warm? (After 10 minutes). But shifting is not a problem with the engine off.. what could be the problem maybe any idea?
Both pressure plate and flywheel bolted together and they never disconnect from each other. When u press the clutch pedal the actually clutch disk which is disconnect from the flywheel because the pressure plate.
As the guy above stated, the pressure plate and flywheel are spinning together at all times. The clutch disc is sandwiched between the flywheel and pressure plate, and is connected to the transmission via the input shaft. When you press the clutch pedal, the release bearing will release the spring pressure and allow the clutch disc to freewheel in between the flywheel and pressure plate.
😂Nowadays we have electronics and hydraulics to apply the clutch, these new gearboxes shift very very fast but nothing will beat the feel of stepping on a clutch pedal and grabbing a ⚙️😏
Great set ups for demonstrations. Nothing better than actually seeing how things work. Cutaways and models are the best for teaching.
Love the little hydraulic clutch set up with reservoir and all ❤😂
It's needed...

@@jacobpoucherfor this setup, it's needed😂.
@@jacobpoucherbut in this particular video it is a hydraulic clutch, so tell me, would it work without the line and fluid?? No it wouldn't.

Great way to explain it. Much appreciated ❤

All this time I thought the squirrels just got tired when I pushed the pedal
Excellent 👍🏻

remains complicated but I continue to study it
Fallen in love with it
Very good Mr..
I understand the process. There's more to it also.
@STAYTUNED69 obviously retread
Great explanation. Thank you.
Thanks. To see the reality not just theory.
A "how to hold up pants correctly with belt" video is needed next

Still didn't get it. Needs to be broken down in more detail. Like what's 2nd gear? I have no idea after watching this
You are thinking of a gearbox.... this is just the clutch.
I just completed my driving test in a manual car :D

Guys I understand that clutch is being disengaged but how is it disengaged if it pushed in direction of flywheel? Can someone explain please?
Or is it pressure plate that keeps them two connected? I thought pressure plate is responsible for disengaging clutch
It's a clamp reversed. The clutch is clamped up hard against the flywheel with big powerful spring. When U press clutch U release the clamp.

So applying clutch first during braking is best!!?
Please does the clutch disc stop rotating whilst the clutch pedal is being held down

Not all are like that. Iirc i think most are separated. But i could be wrong.
Show us what would happen if you put the clutch disc in backwards
No pun intended but this explanation is clutch
"Pun" fully intended and appreciated....😆😅🤣😂
Just send them to the uk for 2 weeks😂
XDDD
I can't believe that there are people out there that have to have this explained to them.
Nice
Buddy forgot the clutch cable mine just got sent to heaven two days ago

A dry clutch is basically a dry friction brake.
so that means everybody knows exactly how an automatic transmission works
Anyone else make a, hm sound after watching the video?😂😂
I will like to work with you
