American here - got 3 bottles of this in Duty free in Dublin (46 EUR), as it's not available in the US. Going back to Dublin in a few months and plan to take back more. I get your tasting notes as well. Really like this stuff - I found that it needed to open up a bit after opening. Very complex for the price - great Christmas whiskey!
So happy your making videos again! Missed them so much, can’t wait for this to hit the states or to find one near me. Love drinking my single pot still Irish whiskey while watching!!!
I’m not sure if this guys still going given the frequency of his posts but I’m just starting to explore Irish more and he has a great personable style, lots of great research and info. Exactly what I look for in a whisky tuber. Hope he pick its back up again.
I loved the tour of the Bow St distillery I did a couple years back! Sure it was 10am when we started on the tasting, but it was a great day :) Got me started to be interested in whisk(e)y and all the differences between them!
Glad to see you back. I've missed your reviews. Your reviews helped when I visited Ireland back in March for St Patrick's Day. Picked up some Powers 3 Swallows and Teeling Single Malt. Good stuff. Also, surprisingly found some Slane 40th Anniversary recently here in the US.
Just bought a bottle of this for Christmas 😁 £49 up here in Béal Feirste! Such a steal. Brilliant video, John. Glad to see you back with more whiskey! Slainte mo chara.
Hi John, last month I have cut an oak tree for the first time, and I was amazed about the smell of freshly cut log of oak, it smelled like whiskey. That was great, Lovely nose ! I realised how much the smell of the whiskey comes directly from the oak. I don't know the smell of whiskey that have been made in contact with other type of wood. That would be interesting to try. Thanks for your videos Cheers mate !
Still waiting on you to give your opine on the best. I dunno how I missed this video, apologies. Hope you do some more videos for us, ya seem like a fella I’d have a good time having a couple drinks & playing pool or darts with… that & I tend to agree with your pallet, purely selfish reasons, ya know
John it seems I need to come and visit you soon! I will treat you with a proper South African braai and you can treat me with your proper Whiskey collection!! 😉

Not enough hours in the day
To prefer it over Johns Lane is high praise. Been a while since I bought whisky but this will be tbe one to break the fast. Intriguing review.

Good to see another whiskey review. This one appeals to me but as you say it may take awhile to get to the US.

Always enjoy your videos and critiques. You have led me to some of my favorite whiskeys. Cheers.

Irish Oak I’m very interested!!❤️🌳
It is rare theses days
@@thewhiskeyshed.4105 some whisky utubers think it's to resinous but I'm not convinced by this explanation for a reason not to use Irish Oak!!🤷♂️🤔
Jealous. I can't wait till it sees wider release. Sounds delicious.
This or black barrel barrel proof??
