It is absolutely hilarious that this is set ibn the same universe as the Calisto protocol. Just imagining a whole horror game about human experimentation, and unlawful imprisonment is going on and this guy just bursts in and styles all over you.
I had a play, but I just kept thinking "I could be playing Hades instead". It's just not interesting enough. The art style looks ok in trailers, but is *very* tiring on the eyes. And the music is tiring on the ears.
I've played hades way to much so this is fresh. Definitely strong hades influence but does it's own thing too. Depending on what you consider a try but game goes places 1st bit of playing doesn't indicate it's full scope 😉.
When I saw [REDACTED] I thought every instance of the game's name was going to be censored because they didn't like something about the video or something. 😂
Retromation proves you wrong. He sometimes won the first game of rougelike games. Which made the dialogs after he beat the game wird and funny, "don't worry, you will win next time"😂
Honestly it looks so sick and i like how the builds are more free than in hades. I would definitely hop back and forth between this and hades on my days off
Almost everything said after playing is either wrong or in the game. 3 games played and knows everything. I mix elements Almost every run and it damages the boss 😮😉
The game gets a lot more exhilarating, once you get used to the mechanics. Wanderbots sadly got himself stuck in a very slow and underwhelming build with the shotgun and didn’t do any attack speed upgrades. After a bunch of runs, I’m pretty sure he’ll be cruising through with crazy builds. That was the case for me at least. But yeah, Hades is a different beast too
Which was a clone of Enter the Gungeon, which was a clone of Bastion... It kinda ends here as Bastion wasn't a clone of Binding of Isaac but just heavily inspired but you get where I'm going to. Hades is great game but when it was created there was already whole genre in that style and I only mentioned biggest titles, there were less popular, earlier titles as well.
@@andrzejnadgirl2029 This is kind of a dumb mentality. Enter the Hades is absolutely nothing like enter the gungeon, and enter the gungeon is absolutely nothing like bastion. Some elements are similar, but that's like claiming every souls like is actually just an elder scroll clone twice removed. Hades and the games by that specific developer are very unique within the roguelit genre. In this case a hades clone fits perfectly because it is aping the specific formula of hades gameplay with its own twists on the top. That is not a bad thing, but it's completely dishonest to claim otherwise.
@DemonKing19951 you're even aware that Bastion and Hades has same creators and Hades was just mere a evolution of action RPG devs were creating for a decade at this point? How top down action game with similar combat rules not similar? Because of more narrow weapon selection? That's really not that critical. Similarities are more than obvious, combat feeling translates very well into each other - when I perfected Enter the Gungeom perfecting Hades or Bastion (I didn't played them chronologically) felt exactly same. If you have exact same combat feeling in Elder Scrolls games and Dark Souls then sure thing, make that comparison. But dunno how it's crazy to call similar games by their similarities...

love the cynicism, gems like you go under appreciated

So it wasn't just me lol
if it's set in the Calisto protocol universe that means this game is also connected to pubg funnily enough because they're also in the same universe
So the gwiddy is Canon too?

This game makes me wish Callisto Protocol didn't have such a rough launch.
Honestly it looks so sick and i like how the builds are more free than in hades. I would definitely hop back and forth between this and hades on my days off
33:37 It is both. It still heals you a amount equal to the max increase. So in this case both your max health and your actual health went up by 25.
32:00 The gun upgrade you picked previously in the run lowered fire rate by 20% so that is why it feels extra slow.
Anyone else getting some massive HiFi Rush vibes from this?

more more more more more more more
Callisto was a failure, but hopefully this isn't. I thought the worldbuilding for it was half-decent at least.
Even as a massive fan of punk rock I find the music loop highly, highly annoying lol. This isn't THPS.
Can turn it off in settings
Dont buy kalisto protocol, its dogwater. This game seems decent but nowhere near Hades.

@DemonKing19951 devs publicly acknowledge hades influence. Good bit does it's own thing in many ways. I like em both 😊
