Dr Dre showed Daz how to make a beat. Dre didn't get to where he is by fluke. Producing is way more than making a beat. That's why Dre has produced countless classic work.
Dre was a very good beat-maker, as far as sampling. He was great at engineering, has a good ear for the sounds, and what music and what instruments needed; (quality control) and mixing and mastering. There was definitely other producers making beats for Dre; Dre would go back over them with a few samples, add other instrumentations, mix and master it, then say it was his beat. He was doing it all the time, even on the Chronic.
Quik is better. Rhythm-al-ism demonstrates that best. Quik did all types of beats on that album. Even a reggae-style beat on Bomb Budd. Dr. Dre's RnB beats sound like rap beats.
Cornell Abrams, I suppose you're talking about Death Row's Chronic 2000. Seriously though, that's laughable. There are only three to five songs that you can play over and over from Chronic 2001. The lyrics are shit throughout the whole album. (There's absolutely zero social commentary.) The high production values were wasted on that album.
cjewe1z No I'm talking about Chronic 2000. That was the original name until Suge put out an album called the same thing. So I still call the album Chronic 2000 because that was the original title Dre wanted.
Quik is a real professional. All the bullshit credit Dre gets just makes it seem like he's doing what Quik does. How the fuck you get a lifetime achievement award for being a snake? I been around some of the same people and I can say, if anyone deserves a lifetime achievement award it's David Blake. But even the word producer is misused now by those who ought to know better. Producers don't make beats, COMPOSERS do! Engineers don't set up shows like Cops don't fight fires. It can take a lifetime just to learn half an area of the business. Mixers, Arrangers, Engineers, all have jobs to focus on. Most techs don't like Producers setting foot in the trenches. Quik is one of the few well rounded talents you'll ever find. He does it all and good too. Hand him a stick and he'll control a whole Orchestra. Not to say Dre don't do his thing, here and there. But he's not the whole package. Quik is the truth. Daz and Warren G get credit too, just not from Dre. lol
That's how it's always been in the industry. Just goes to show contrary to what we're made to believe, success in the industry is not determined by how "talented" you are, but how much of snake you are. Your comeuppance is determined by how much your willing to sleep around, screw over and being a shark. Talent sadly means jack shit. There's a lot of Talented artist living in the streets or performing in seedy nightclubs.
izraul hidashi uh Engineers. do set up shows...depends. on what the engineer is. capable of but they do everything fron mix master. live. sound. sound. sweetning a ton i get your point bad example though
An audio engineer in the studio sets up shows? Not any of the studios I worked at. They may have an audio engineer that works with staging, but no in house audio engineer I know has ever gone to set up a show. There's usually a sound man specifically for that.
The DBX 160A :Is one of the most popular compressor / limiter. Featuring with switchable over easy and hard- knee compression covers along with a wide range of threshold settings. The 160A can handle your toughest dynamics task. True RMS levels detection which provides some of the most natural sounding dynamics processing available, and the unit is a single channel. Dre need a up grade to a better unit with more channels !
Karceno4Life Yes I know, and they had better units at that time too, when they did their studio at that time they had a nice set up but every 6 months to a year Dre should of up grade some of his equipment as each 6 months to a year go by ! or every 3yrs ! The technology gets old in the business very quickly which I feel you have already know, and expense .
school is in session: the dbx is a compression unit that squeezs sound and bass's pop more and drums pop more, vintage gear might not be super tecnical , but it works and gives you a fat analog sound, so quick is like myself ,a mixer and engineer and a beat maker, so is daz who all did beats on death row productions (ghost producers / writers).Dre mixes or puts his stamp on tracks for whatever artist at the time all those producers were cutting tracks , ea; and what ever hottness was there went out to public with dr dre approval the beff is also due to the record ,Truth hurts feat. Rakim, produced by dj quick they used this arabic sample and had to pay money when sample was not cleared dre was pissed thinking it was handled the record was hot and i still play this song when i d.j. today packs the floor everytime Quick All Day i like dre when he rocked the sp1200 now he uses................ secrets i can not tell you. because im a master of these secrets also
Not a shot at Karceno or anyone in particular... There are people who say Bob Marley wasn't as talented as he was claimed. They will tell you Peter Tosh was the best talent and writer in the group (The Wailers). People will always come up with reasons to NOT give full credit to the one we always hear about. I think that's what happens with people downplaying Dre's accomplishments and skills.
Ceno forgot to mention about how Quik thought "What's the Difference" by Dre was a Quik diss which was not the case. Quik replied back with "U aint fresh".
Very good video Kareeno4Life. You seem to get a lot of word on the streets, and you are very talented in doing impersonations. You really sounded like Suge at one point and spoke just like Pac, LOL! Yeah, I never realized how much both Dr. Dre and Dj Quik had worked together, and it's amazing how much stuff be going on behind the scenes that we're not aware of. Dr Dre is a legend and he has paved the way for a lot of producers in hip-hop, but personally I prefer DJ Quik's music. I think DJ Quik is the best producer in hip-hop period.
Dj Quik has always been underrated... Dr has the clout because of NWA,,, but Dr is badass as well... Dj Quik is very Original. Each album sounds different from the other. They are both Legends... I'm only missing one of Dj Quiks Albums... Safe&Sound...
Dj Quik is the dopest producer in the game, he had no formal training his sound can't be touched Dres stuff is scrap compared to Quik. He's a musical genius he's the Prince if Hip Hop. You know you are cold when an orchestra plays Sweet Black Pussy on strings. Quik is a legend and genius.
Your impressions always be spot on, the only one that you did not sound like was Tupac, but your Suge Knight impression was spot on just like everyone else's I have heard you make, except the Tupac one.
juniordean86 Daz and Pac were kinda cool because a majority of All Eyez On Me was Daz beats to begin with so Pac kinda respected him personally. Overall, Pac didnt like Dogg Pound as a whole because when Snoop and Dogg Pound first got signed to Interscope they "accidentally" heard Pac's original Me Against The World album and lowkey took bits and parts from it so bad didnt like Dogg Pound when he signed to Deathrow because he always remembered that. The hate never got big because Daz and Pac worked well together so Pac was willing to forget about the past somewhat.
jermaine dupri said about 10yrs ago that Dre don't do half the work that he gets all the credit for, other producer do the real work and Dre takes the credit
No... I know my shit. This guy who made the video is manipulating everyone watching. Bc he doesn't know. Daz only did the drums on Ratta-tat-tat. He got that credit. Any track Daz claimed he did that Dre took credit from, Dre co-produced , or mixed that track. Just like Dre mixed the entire Dogg Food album! Theres never been a beat that said Produced by Dr. Dre that dre had zero involvment in the sound. Haters love saying that because he has a production crew that plays instruments in the studio while he puts the beat together, composes and mixes. I know about the 4 songs on Doggy Style Daz co-produced with Dre. The final version though that came out on the cd, was not all Daz. Daz co-produced a few tracks on DoggyStyle with Snoop. Dre did the rest. Dillinger was always mad for not getting paid as much as he felt he needed to be paid on Death Row. That was always his issue. Snoop is Daz cousin and even defended Dre on this subject. Snoop was saying Dre took Daz beats to another level. Daz was learning from Dre at the time. What he was most likely pissed about is the fact on the back of the cover and on the CD of Doggy Style, it just says "Produced by Dr. Dre" though he felt he contributed on a few tracks... Dre didn't STEAL BEATS and say it's his like the haters put it.
Daz, Dre & Quik are good rappers/producers so I don't really think either one of them would ever have a beef with each other and besides all 3 of them produced albums for Pac and many more.
Dr. Dre produced the entire Chronic album! It's Doggy Style that didn't give Daz the credit on the songs he worked on.. In the booklet n' on the back of the CD it just says "Produced by Dr. Dre." Which he did produce the whole album, but he produced With Daz on a few tracks.
Yo that’s some shit a lot of us used to think Dre was behind all those dope ass beats that came outta death row the original creators need to get their well deserved credit!!! It’s historical
Now I could be mistaken but I was listening to DJ quik while Dr Dre was still in NWA so I always remember listening to DJ quik before I even heard of Dre from NWA and I've always loved DJ quik's music and I remember he used to do music with Hi-C.
Another dude who Dre took from is Big Hutch....AKA Cold 187 from Above The Law. They were doing it before Death Row....and made a dis record addressing it.
If I were an artist and could chose my producer, I'd pick QUIK because he can spark a rhythnm and very passionate. Dre samples a lot, explosion was a sample of an Erykah Badu, not saying that quik doesn't sample. I just feel that Dre recycle too much to be considered the best producer of any coast- west, North, South, or East. I'm not saying Dre is a terrible producer, but not worth the credit given.
Everybody with a real sense of the history of these 2 producers knows that Quik will annihilate Dre. I respect what they've both accomplished, but I have the entire Quik catalog, and there's no room for debating on this.....Quik is the Leopold of this rap - ish.
Heartz of Men Is 1 of Thee Dopest joints ever created. That track doesn’t get its Respect Due, imo. It gets some love , but it’s an All Time Great Track So Hard , So On Point , Strikes That Cord. So ill
Ezekwesiri Anum Exactly.... all the streets in that area were named after trees... Hence the name "Treetop Piru". Acacia, Maple, Poplar, Spruce, Cedar, Elm, Hickory to name a few.
I ALREADY KNOW..DRE DIDN'T MAKE ANY OF THE BEATS HE'S FAMOUS FOR..I WAS IN LA FOR YEARS AND WAS AROUND INDUSTRY FOLKS..WERE SAYING THE SAME THANG..AND SAYING QUICK MADE HIS OWN--MA'A
People forget or don't know how much Dj Quick had to do with the death row sound and albums that were popular in the 90s Evan alot of singles that we love!!! He had a big influence on Tupac album Daz Dillinger also got stiffed.
Caprisun R Word Up I knew Pac personally and there are things I could never say about Pac to a Pac Stan that never met him or they would lose it... so I sit back and say nothing.... Pac was cool but I just don't see what everybody else sees
that's true. can you imagine if he was still alive? his fans would kill for him literally. they wouldn't be looking for Osama, they'd be trying to silence Tupac.
I don't know who this guy is, but I worked at Death Row at the time & WOW! His shit is so accurate I felt like I was back at Can Am!!!... I remember everything he said... vividly!
+charles austin Yeah I remember Quik talking about that. Man, if Quik signed to Ruthless, that would have been huge, and also that Quik would have worked with Bone during those years. Could you imagine that?
now Quik sound is doper crisper then Dr.dre dre use's a lot of sample's but quik could redo the whole damn thing quik was around in the ruthless day's just about when dre was leaven because i heard in a interview by a ruthless promoter he said he was talking to dre like man...quik got some hot shit and dre was like meh i guess so iam thinking dre ego was higher then anybody's suge knew quik a couple of year's before dre now dre been dissing quik on the downlow since death row day's not on wax though now tree top is piru blood's set in compton california piru is a street it was said quik was a leader of the gang also he was talking about his set on his first mix tape in 87 also his first album and i think his 2nd album but for sure safe and sound album even the title track he was rapping on if u listen to the Dogg pound what would u do i don't even think that was dr.dre production it was quik i think dre just bought the track and stuck his name on it because it's too raw for dre sound and Daz got better when 2pac came out of jail quik did some shit with pac and quik would of did anything for suge because he paid to get him out of his contract in 93? and the DBX 160 is to make your Bass and Drum's Hi Hat more punchy pump up more drum loop's it's the type if you in the studio if some turn up the music it will make ur eyelid's jump
GARY PYBURN An OG producer in the game told me he doesn't respect Dre's way of "using musicians" he said he sent him a 1 bar loop & was like what can you do with this..lol" He said "you know what I charge & that he wants his publishing" and he said he never heard back..I asked him about Quik..he said "that boy knows his music..I respect him."
SUNKAPRODUCTIONS QUIK is a bad ass when it come's to production his shit is real and dre be acting like he got the brain's to do it by his own self knowing he need help
Hutch and Kokane started the G-Funk while Dre was still working with uptempo stuff with DOC and the Appetite for Destruction. Even when he went to Death Row, the rumor is that Daz, Warren G, and Soopafly were ghost producers on everything. Then DJ Pooh, Sam Sneed, Battlecat, and DJ Quik came in to add on to the ghost crew. In the early Aftermath era, he had Erick Sermon, Scott Storch, Hi-Tek, and a couple of cats too on his ghost team payroll
big973e They weren't "ghost writers" or "ghost producers" these are people Dre worked with on beats. He's a composer and works on his craft differently with a production crew. Warren G barely did anything for Death Row. That right there is false. Dre deserves all the credit he deserves.
DJ Quiks “Put it on me” featuring Dr. Dre was the shit. It was great to see two icons working side by side. Just like how many, many years later. Dre and DJ Premier worked on “Animals”. Personally I like DJ Premier over Quik.
Everyone from the West Coast knows that DJ Quik should have been the original Dr. Dre.... straight up. Even Battle Cat was a better musician!

He spot on with the Above the Law GFunk thing.
When Quik dropped Safe + Sound?.... WWWWHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWHHHOOOOO!!!!!! shit was a wrap from there
Dre was a very good beat-maker, as far as sampling.
By hearing this guy I can tell he is on point. It resonates 💯 100 %
Quik is better. Rhythm-al-ism demonstrates that best. Quik did all types of beats on that album. Even a reggae-style beat on Bomb Budd. Dr. Dre's RnB beats sound like rap beats.
Nothing quik did could compare to chronic 2000!
Nothing quik did could compare to chronic 2000!
+cjewe1z I think he's referring to chronic 2001 dres solo album
cjewe1z No I'm talking about Chronic 2000.
There's a lot of Talented artist living in the streets or performing in seedy nightclubs.
izraul hidashi
izraul hidashi uh Engineers. do set up shows...depends. on what the engineer is. capable of but they do everything fron mix master. live. sound. sound. sweetning a ton i get your point bad example though
An audio engineer in the studio sets up shows? Not any of the studios I worked at. They may have an audio engineer that works with staging, but no in house audio engineer I know has ever gone to set up a show. There's usually a sound man specifically for that.
izraul hidashi if you would like to put it that way sure. but the technical capabilities of the positions fall under audio engineer
Quik would’ve bodied Dre, both on the keyboard and the ground....Quik wuz Tree top piru.
Dre need a up grade to a better unit with more channels !
this was 20 years ago dude
Karceno4Life Yes I know, and they had better units at that time too, when they did their studio at that time they had a nice set up but every 6 months to a year Dre should of up grade some of his equipment as each 6 months to a year go by !
or every 3yrs ! The technology gets old in the business very quickly which I feel you have already know, and expense .
+latlanticcityphil Dre did he never wanted to bring his best equipment into the studio so everybody can mess it up
Karceno4Life I feel yea on that, and thanks
+latlanticcityphil he didn't need to upgrade though. he still had the best sound around. if it ain't broke....
get the new dj quik album "midnite life" in flac quality, play it on some high end stereo speakers and listen to the thump!
Safe and Sound from DJ Quik is on the level of any of the great albums from any of the great artists you can name.
Quick sounds like a live performance when you hear his slapzzzz
school is in session: the dbx is a compression unit that squeezs sound and bass's pop more and drums pop more, vintage gear might not be super tecnical , but it works and gives you a fat analog sound, so quick is like myself ,a mixer and engineer and a beat maker, so is daz who all did beats on death row productions (ghost producers / writers).Dre mixes or puts his stamp on tracks for whatever artist at the time all those producers were cutting tracks , ea; and what ever hottness was there went out to public with dr dre approval the beff is also due to the record ,Truth hurts feat. Rakim, produced by dj quick they used this arabic sample and had to pay money when sample was not cleared dre was pissed thinking it was handled the record was hot and i still play this song when i d.j. today packs the floor everytime Quick All Day i like dre when he rocked the sp1200 now he uses................ secrets i can not tell you. because im a master of these secrets also
he uses 4 mpc3000's midi'd together and just replaces drum sounds
i have my sp1200 kik off my 2 mpc 3000's and my 808 all in real time to tape
Dre has an ear that's it dj quick its hands on
Not a shot at Karceno or anyone in particular...
QUIK Can Rap too. Dre wasn't really a "real" rapper. He even admits it.
Dj Quik is the dopest producer in the game, he had no formal training his sound can't be touched Dres stuff is scrap compared to Quik. He's a musical genius he's the Prince if Hip Hop. You know you are cold when an orchestra plays Sweet Black Pussy on strings. Quik is a legend and genius.
actually quik learned engineering from Boston's sound engineer
Your impressions always be spot on, the only one that you did not sound like was Tupac, but your Suge Knight impression was spot on just like everyone else's I have heard you make, except the Tupac one.
Donte Sanders that's funny because that's the one I think I do better than all
You do fifty the best to me him Jada and Freddie lol
Karceno4Life did 2pac have beef with daz over his fight with kurupt? I heard pac had beef with daz and nate. Is this true
juniordean86 Nah Daz and Pac were always close.
juniordean86 Daz and Pac were kinda cool because a majority of All Eyez On Me was Daz beats to begin with so Pac kinda respected him personally.
I DO LIKE DJ QuIK . I DO ENJOY HIS RAP SONGS☺💛
I admire ur consistency bro!
Yea but the best sound production wise was Doggfood hands down!!
+Justice Will Rise you know your music , good shit
I don't like how people who ain't from here tell stories, from rumors
My 3 top west coast producers DJ quik, warren g, DJ battle cat
Quick is better. I am a producer Dre is good quick is great.
DJ Quick is the real musician between dre and Quick. My ni&&@ for life. He even has a trademark sound that dre borrows from till this Day.!! Real!!!
I had to go back and check this out again. this gota be one of ya best video bro.
jermaine dupri said about 10yrs ago that Dre don't do half the work that he gets all the credit for, other producer do the real work and Dre takes the credit
As a native to Colorado Dj Quik is one of favorite artists
The long standing rumor was Warren G produced "Ain't No Fun"
I can believe that
it turns out daz made that
@@TheBombShhh Daz on the Drums. Warren G with the Sample. Mixed By Dr Dre
Sounds like Warren style too
This is hip hop history gold. Thank you for this video!!!!!!!✌🤘
this guy is real. he talk real n give real life story.. thank man. tell these New generation
If you not from here, then you don't know.... Quik is the greatest West coast Artist/Producer/Mixer/Engineer/Rapper
They are homies at the end of the day.
***** It was Dre who made the beat.
Dr. Dre produced the entire Chronic album! It's Doggy Style that didn't give Daz the credit on the songs he worked on.. In the booklet n' on the back of the CD it just says "Produced by Dr. Dre." Which he did produce the whole album, but he produced With Daz on a few tracks.
themadrapper101 Was DJ Pooh & DJ Quik apart of the Doggystyle album?
Yo that’s some shit a lot of us used to think Dre was behind all those dope ass beats that came outta death row the original creators need to get their well deserved credit!!! It’s historical
Dogg Food's sound was immaculate as well; one of best engineered rap albums.
I agree!, I know if it wasn't for Dr. Dre that album or any other album up to aeom would have sounded like it was missing something major!
Dr dre is my favorite producer in hiphop. But DJ Quick is the truth.
California Love origanally is Zapps that why he doing the hook
Now I could be mistaken but I was listening to DJ quik while Dr Dre was still in NWA so I always remember listening to DJ quik before I even heard of Dre from NWA and I've always loved DJ quik's music and I remember he used to do music with Hi-C.
ABOVE THE LAW originated the style during the same time wen DJ quik was experimenting with funk n changing the loop speed
Another dude who Dre took from is Big Hutch....AKA Cold 187 from Above The Law. They were doing it before Death Row....and made a dis record addressing it.
Yep...diss song was on Kokane album...the song was"Don't bite da funk"
It gets some love , but it’s an All Time Great Track
So Hard , So On Point , Strikes That Cord. So ill
DJ Quick Was In The Hook Steady Dipping Which Is A Infamous CRIP song!
trees is treetop piru not all pirus theres different sets
Ezekwesiri Anum yup just like 2nd II None were from Elm Street Piru
Ezekwesiri Anum Exactly.... all the streets in that area were named after trees... Hence the name "Treetop Piru".
Acacia, Maple, Poplar, Spruce, Cedar, Elm, Hickory to name a few.
Who cares?
I AM I AM Crips n the red rags, CuHz, tHis ain't 4 yHu n none gangbkangaz
bruh, the beep beep at 14:53 must be your trademark! LOL!
Dj Quik was always better than Dre.
Dre's so called signature sound is Scott Storches anywase.
noize2040 and Sam sneeds
noize2040 true, that piano on Still Dre was Scott Storch
And Mike Elizondo's.
That suge impression is spot on bro
Dre is a raw producer he started over so many times and still came out on top that rite there speaks of it's self
yo is this the Karceno I be seeing in Star’s live???
👍🏽 dope content my gee
Dre haven't produced in years!!
Tru story
Wiick is an amazing talent...
Mr. Rabbit Blak Recently yea..... He done a couple few things for Kendrick Lamar. Thats about it. From 1984-2010 he was pretty active.
I ALREADY KNOW..DRE DIDN'T MAKE ANY OF THE BEATS HE'S FAMOUS FOR..I WAS IN LA FOR YEARS AND WAS AROUND INDUSTRY FOLKS..WERE SAYING THE SAME THANG..AND SAYING QUICK MADE HIS OWN--MA'A
we out west know dope quik is..he is a legend..
Quik is the artist that everyone thinks Dre is...
WELL SAID!!!!!
I always thought Quik was better than Dre but just never got the props.
People forget or don't know how much Dj Quick had to do with the death row sound and albums that were popular in the 90s Evan alot of singles that we love!!! He had a big influence on Tupac album Daz Dillinger also got stiffed.
Ur videos are dope. Do one on mozzy and C-Bo beef. Ima a Bo fan but mozzy go hard.
2pac stans are quick to catch feelings if you say something small negative about PAC. They're quick to come out in bunches to attack.
Fans u mean
Caprisun R Word Up I knew Pac personally and there are things I could never say about Pac to a Pac Stan that never met him or they would lose it... so I sit back and say nothing.... Pac was cool but I just don't see what everybody else sees
The word fan is short for fanatic proving any1 can be an addict.
that's true. can you imagine if he was still alive? his fans would kill for him literally. they wouldn't be looking for Osama, they'd be trying to silence Tupac.
Pedro R. You damn right we gone defend his name why you soo jealous 🤔
I don't know who this guy is, but I worked at Death Row at the time & WOW! His shit is so accurate I felt like I was back at Can Am!!!... I remember everything he said... vividly!
Chris lord algae owns that spot now
Karceno’s suge impression always cracks me up.
DJ Quik vs. 9th Wonder. Who is the better music producer????
My apologies. Primo and RZA are the truth. Also EASY MO BEE. Much respect to all producers and real musicians in the game.
Lord finesse too
Omar Hendricks Huh?
yeah.fuck zaytoveen and metro boomin. DJ mustard too.
Dont forget dilla
Mister X Del the funky homosapien
Eazy didn't care about letting Dre go kuz he was about to try and sign Quik to Ruthless but Quik's record company wasn't having it so it back fired
+charles austin Yeah I remember Quik talking about that. Man, if Quik signed to Ruthless, that would have been huge, and also that Quik would have worked with Bone during those years. Could you imagine that?
DAVID BLAKE is tha KING of tha coast DRE took it n ran wit it but QUIK wass HUMBLE
great story for those that say u dont know the real they some bull shit cause I know this story u did it right keep the rap beefs coming
Not just George Clinton samples bro, it's a collection of various funk art style off music concepts. Zapp, ohio, parliament
At the end of the road it all comes down to one simple thing...and that is Money look at dre and than quick
Quik calls it "Geek Talk" in the lab. Lol.. Technically is was then, and still is!!!
Epmd was using a lot of that shit off of there first album in 1988 Strictly Business.
HANDZ DOWN I RESPECT DR.DRE FOR THE BEATS BUT HONESTLY DJ.QUIK IS THE MOST FAMOUS & BEST PRODUCER NEXT TO BATTLECAT
now Quik sound is doper crisper then Dr.dre dre use's a lot of sample's but quik could redo the whole damn thing quik was around in the ruthless day's just about when dre was leaven because i heard in a interview by a ruthless promoter he said he was talking to dre like man...quik got some hot shit and dre was like meh i guess so iam thinking dre ego was higher then anybody's suge knew quik a couple of year's before dre now dre been dissing quik on the downlow since death row day's not on wax though now tree top is piru blood's set in compton california piru is a street it was said quik was a leader of the gang also he was talking about his set on his first mix tape in 87 also his first album and i think his 2nd album but for sure safe and sound album even the title track he was rapping on if u listen to the Dogg pound what would u do i don't even think that was dr.dre production it was quik i think dre just bought the track and stuck his name on it because it's too raw for dre sound and Daz got better when 2pac came out of jail quik did some shit with pac and quik would of did anything for suge because he paid to get him out of his contract in 93? and the DBX 160 is to make your Bass and Drum's Hi Hat more punchy pump up more drum loop's it's the type if you in the studio if some turn up the music it will make ur eyelid's jump
You know for sure that quik was the leader of the pirus. How'd he get that crown?
"Engineer words were flying around" lmao! Funny story.
SPEAK TRUTH QUIK IS .. A MUSICIAN!!! EVERYTHING WAS QUIK N DAZ EVEN frAnkie JaY
suge impersonation was spot on bra
I met dj quick and saw his show
Misunderstandings and hindsight is 50/50 that's how b******* starts in the streets and get a person clapped up
Quik is TOTALLY RICH.....and low 🔑....best way to be...
DJ Quiks “Put it on me” featuring Dr. Dre was the shit. It was great to see two icons working side by side. Just like how many, many years later. Dre and DJ Premier worked on “Animals”. Personally I like DJ Premier over Quik.
