    Nice one! It's actually incredible to see how from the paper marks, after some work, turns out to look "nice" on the bike.

    I always wanted to learn how to "blacken" metals, such as aluminum.

    I lost my big foot in Tassie this week, ( should have used blue lok tite), As I don't have the gear to make one I''ll lower myself to buy one on Ebay. Great home build vid. RSM8

    Great vid, very entertaining. 😁 Bought one for my NC, put it on and didn't like it, seemed to stand the bike more upright, might have a go making one in the future. 😵

    Well, if you have a metalworking shop at home no prob. For the rest of us... buying one is really the only option.

      Agree. This is purely for entertainment not a recommendation 👍

    You make it look easy. But you have all the gear. I was wondering if you had to be careful that it would not foul on the side of the bike, or stick out to catch the side of your leg. But the finished job looks good.

      Roger Perrett - notice I made it wider on the top than the bottom (when stand is retracted)

    Notice your stand has the same side to side movement as mine. Wonder why Honda are happy with this.

      paul lown - I’m sure it could be “fixed” if it bothers you. Take out the bolt, hammer the bracket till there is no slop, replace the bolt.

    Buying one is the best way to go. There’s some bloke, NC750 something or other, that makes a great product but, for the life of me I can’t find the website!

    • @AfricaTwin-Stuff
      @AfricaTwin-Stuff  5 років тому +3

      crispernator - different metals? Yes it could be an issue I guess. But I doubt to will rot quickly - i.e in my lifetime.
      Countersink - yes you are right. But “is this the face of bovvered”?

    इतनी मेहनत क्यों ले ? कटिंग करो,घिसाई करो,ड्रिलिंग करो,और बाद में फिटिंग करो, खर्चा इतना होगा,की उसमे नया स्टैंड आ जायेगा ।
