Ken here mate. You wouldn’t believe it but mr mott and I was discussing this very thing. We are going to buy one. Hope to see you at kulnura one Saturday to say hi to you and Wendy. Be safe mate.
I lost my big foot in Tassie this week, ( should have used blue lok tite), As I don't have the gear to make one I''ll lower myself to buy one on Ebay. Great home build vid. RSM8
Great vid, very entertaining. 😁 Bought one for my NC, put it on and didn't like it, seemed to stand the bike more upright, might have a go making one in the future. 😵
You make it look easy. But you have all the gear. I was wondering if you had to be careful that it would not foul on the side of the bike, or stick out to catch the side of your leg. But the finished job looks good.
Buying one is the best way to go. There’s some bloke, NC750 something or other, that makes a great product but, for the life of me I can’t find the website!
Gday mate who wants to buy stuff when you can make it yourself , two isues i thought of one corrosion between the differing metals , and second a bit more on the countersink ol boy hahaha , good video take care .
crispernator - different metals? Yes it could be an issue I guess. But I doubt to will rot quickly - i.e in my lifetime. Countersink - yes you are right. But “is this the face of bovvered”?
Coughed up a bit of dinner at your lubrication quip... always have at least one good chuckle watching your art work... much gratitude cobber!
Edgar Bleikur - yep. I love watching others work too. Thanks.

red bitter123 - spooky ! We are off on a car trip on Thursday so won’t be riding for a few weeks.
Nice one! It's actually incredible to see how from the paper marks, after some work, turns out to look "nice" on the bike.
Welding is soooo satisfying 😃😃😃
Excellent craftsmanship..
Very nice...well done !
Gonna make myself one too...
Ed.
Great, it's definitely a must for our NC750X! Good job!

cameron mcrae - ha! Slacker

I always wanted to learn how to "blacken" metals, such as aluminum.

Well, if you have a metalworking shop at home no prob. For the rest of us... buying one is really the only option.
Agree. This is purely for entertainment not a recommendation 👍
Świetna robota. 👍

Roger Perrett - notice I made it wider on the top than the bottom (when stand is retracted)
Looks great 🖒 😀😀😀🏍🏍🏍
Notice your stand has the same side to side movement as mine. Wonder why Honda are happy with this.
paul lown - I’m sure it could be “fixed” if it bothers you. Take out the bolt, hammer the bracket till there is no slop, replace the bolt.
nice job.

Mike FreeRider Gagne - ha! I’m happy to put up with my “botching” but would not foist it on others.
@@AfricaTwin-Stuff looks great to me
Why did you not just wield the bit onto the foot stand plate
That would be too easy 🤪
... well done! SALUT!

The loctite works well in preventing galvanic cells... former toolmaker...
I only count one, what about Wendy?
Maso - ha! I’m hoping she doesn’t ask
Wife says "My glasses seem a bit wobbly". You say "let me get my Tig and weld a support on them". LOL Any excuse to use your Tig welder.
Garth Howe - how true! Love tig welding.
इतनी मेहनत क्यों ले ? कटिंग करो,घिसाई करो,ड्रिलिंग करो,और बाद में फिटिंग करो, खर्चा इतना होगा,की उसमे नया स्टैंड आ जायेगा ।

Wow second
