Pretty easy install, still fun to watch while waiting for the order to come in. Replacing my Banks as well, already have the passenger boost pipe but plan to install both at the same time. Already installed the hot boost pipe/ upper radiator pipe/ intake horn w/ reroute and brake cover.
Congrats on the new stuff! Sounds like we have very similar goodies installed. I did make a small mistake when I did this install. I made a quick before correcting it. Watch this before installing yours! Hope this helps!

Thank you Victor! I wanted to look this stuff up when I got my truck and couldn’t find what I wanted to see. So I decided to create it and share it with the people. I always thought I would make a video that wouldn’t reach anyone. Or that it would be ripped apart by UA-cam keyboard warriors. But it’s been fun so far. I am enjoying it. Installed stage 2 wfc kit on my 2018 tuned&deleted l5p. Now i have compressor surge problems.
That sucks. The intake horn should have an anti surge ring milled in.
So I took the wfc intake horn off. Installed banks turbo intake horn fixed the problem
Nice install vid! Looking good!!! Mine is on order soon. Trying to decide on color.. Keep the same color I already have (which I wasn't expecting, wrong color) or order the dark charcoal grey and re powercoat the other piping I have. Hmm

Have you noticed a difference with the WCFab intake vs the Banks? I’m leaning towards the WCFab for looks and performance but I know Banks is engineered amazingly.
Honestly I haven’t driven about 10 miles yet. I would bet the Banks flows a little better. Larger filter and larger intake tube. But I like everything to match and the custom powder coated look of the WC fab way better.
Where can I buy the stripping seal that goes on the hood?
You might be able to buy just the part from Wehrli. Not 100% sure. Good luck!

Just installed my WCFab intake horn and intake. Any thing I need to pay attention to, now that you have driven it for a while? Took it for a test drive around the neighborhood after install last night and it sounds WAY different in the drivers seat.
Nope! It sounds great doesn’t it! The only think I would suggest is keeping the filter screen clean. The dry bag works great. But collects pollen and stuff rather quickly. Which is a good thing. Thanks for watching I appreciate it! Let me know how you like it.
Just a question why that little filter instead of S&B will it make turbo louder being steel kinda echoing of or no just personal preference thanks in advance bro love the setup I’m getting everything but air box unless I just want to or need to
I would say the filter is much smaller than the Banks filter. It is louder though. I love the set up so far. Thanks for watching I appreciate it.
@@linksgarage1985 It makes sense it might be louder in a different way being tight I got s&b not banks it was first add it gives truck to tones it rumbles on filter then the little clack on other it dropped my rpm down to 600 and roars kinda at lower throttle and u feel it in the pedal specially cold and u wack throttle after it’s warm but not driven it’s great sounding but love all them now got derringer PedalMonster Wfab piping coming but I’m doing the awful D word heck I’m in south no one is quite also I got a 2020 3500denali dully custom done to all my preferences there’s nothing from factory u can add lol so sorry no punctuation at work trying to just get it out love ur truck and vids buddy

I would say the banks probably flows better. So if you are looking for strictly performance, probably Banks. And the filter is much larger. However, the Wehrli is a significant boost over OEM. And it looks BADASS! I like all my stuff to match. That’s why I went the route I did. Thanks for watching I really appreciate it. What kind of difference do you think this intake and horn give you over stock?
Greater airflow. Definitely a must do for more power if you planning on upgrading your turbo etc. plus, it makes it whistle more!

Yes. It sounds very different. I have only driven it about 10 miles. I’ll update everyone once I drive it more.

Does it sound any different from the banks?
Yes. But I can’t truly say if it’s solely because of the air box only. Because I installed the intake horn, pass side Intercooler pipe etc before I even drove it. But it sounds very different now. For a non deleted rig. She whistles. Sounds way different. Can’t say if it was the horn, or the box. But it def sounds diff. I’ll try to get a sound clip for you guys soon.

Does Intake void factory warranty ?
It doesn’t write to the factory ECM so I would say no. Plus, you can swap it out if you need to do any warranty work. Takes 15 mins. Thanks for watching I appreciate it!
How does it sound?
Well. I have only driven it once. With the intake horn, passenger pipe, (driver pipe not on yet) and intake kit. And I was actually shocked how different it sounded. Non deleted trucks can whistle sir. They can indeed. I’ll try to get a sound clip vid for you guys.

Why did you chose to change from the Banks to the WC?
Great question. 2 reasons. 1. I am kind of OCD and I like everything to match. 2. Just the visual appearance. I have the ability to custom powed coat everything to any color I want. Banks makes phenomenal products. And I will still retain all my current banks gear. Rear diff cover, derringer, idash data monster, and 5 inch monster exhaust. Thanks for watching!
