- If you have any questions please ask. This install is not that bad. The clips at the bottom of the pipe are a pain. But the rest is really simple. Basic hand tools needed only. Please like and subscribe for more L5P content!

Nice job! I just bought a 2013 chevy silverado 2500HD 6.6L LML Duramax with 144,000 miles on it. It's completely stock. 1st thing, Air Dog lift pump, and then all the hot and cold piping is getting replaced. Your video gives my the extra insight to tackle the job my self. This is my 1st diesel and I'm excited to learn as l go. By the way. Awesome shop, love the American flags!!
I have the same pipe, I only had it blow out on the Intercooler connection twice when I really gave it the beans, than I found that the groove cut where the clip snaps into was not cut deep enough so I took a file and shaved her a little longer, it wasn’t just me it happened in a jw Montoya video on his friends L5P, I didn’t contact wcfab cause since I fixed it it’s been great, I also boost checked it was fine through and through, great video man I hope you have better luck than me, mind you I had one of the first they made, keep these videos coming there the best on UA-cam, also all my other wcfab stuff has never gav3 any issues so no discouraging anyone.

I just got mine on today. As for the bottom clip the written instructions say to one hole is cut smaller. I ended up rotating my clip 30 degrees off from what you show to get it to clip on.

Great video, I have a 2019 also and I noticed that when you pulled the old pipe off and the end with the clips from hell on it, it looked like there was residual oil in the pipe. If was oil, where does that come from? Thanks
Most likely your PCV connected to your turbo horn . The PCV can release oil vapors that can accumulate over time inside your intercooler pipes . That’s best case , worst case you have a failing gasket on your turbo . More thank likely if that was the case it would be shitting oil out everywhere.
Order a PCV re route kit and while your at it install an oil fill re route.
Good install vid. It’s a shame such a pretty part gets all covered up and it’s hard to see with everything all buttoned up. Looks like you got plenty of other purple goodies to install tho🤘🤘🤘👍👍👍

Installed one on my buddies truck the fitment was horrible pipe didn’t line up it was about impossible to get the clamp on so it didn’t blow off used a bunch of hairspray too

Hey man I have a question for you. So I’m in the same boat as you were with the pipe blowing off on the intercooler side. I have pushed as hard as I can on that pipe and it seems to be seated all the way in bc I felt the pipe go into the 2 O rings. But then when I step on it, I hear the whoosh sound and then it’s loose again. Does the pipe have to go over that little little on the intercooler? I figured since the pipe sits all the way up against that small plastic lip, it was all the way on but I seem to have it come off under pressure. Weird part is that clip still is in the right place even tho it’s loose 😂

I installed the 3.5 inch cold passenger side pipe.. what a bitch to deal with that clip.. even with the strap.. but I got it and hope I never have to touch it again.. but without your video.. I would have been lost as last years Easter eggs

@@alan2256al HSP make good stuff also. The driver side is wayyyyyyy easier. Leave the bubble wrap on it until it’s installed so you don’t scratch it!

Yep. Those thinks are heavy duty. I believe that’s why the tow rating increased for 2020!
