I realize that it's an old thread so I don't know if you check it .... Great plugin & tutorial. Does anyone know if it's possible to angle the slices? ... or would you be required to rotate the entire wall, enlarge it, crop back to the original dimensions and slice the angled wall?
It took me two hours to make wooden slat for a model. And only after that, I came across this video and the extension, which surely would help me in my next project. Thank you for such a helpful video.
I have zero clue where you're getting that. The link in the notes below the video allows you to download it for free, so...I don't know how to help you?
Lol - yep - tomorrow I'll be doing a summary, then we'll see where it goes - they don't give me an early release so I can get videos done ahead of time unfortunately 😂
@@bacazterchovej2235 no, vray is design for professional 3d artist for movies so on and so forth. but I noticed that vray for sketchup is kind of difficult for some arch viz people to dominate.. that is why you have lumion, which is simpler but if you want your stuff to look like the lumion site feed you. you also need to do your homework and learn on how to get those results. and no. there is no comparison. vray and lumion are different on their on way....
A lot of the answer to that question is what you're looking for in a rendering program. Lumion is a lot easier to pick up and start working on a rendering, rather than having to figure out a lot of complicated settings, and generates great results. Vray allows you more control over every single setting involved in your images, so it can be used to generate VERY high end images, but at the cost of a greater learning curve. Honestly, I think this question is a lot like asking if a hammer is better than a screwdriver - it depends on what you need to do, but both are great tools...
ty for answer only one thing hold me back from choose lumion and it is "huge" money to pay for lumion at start , once i have it it will be very great experience with lumion .... thats why i asked if developers cant do some 1year licence sell to make some money for me and then i can buy full license / i am talking only about PRO version , coz standart version is USELESS for me/

Your videos are extremely good. Thank you
Glad you like them!
thansk for sharing us such helpful tutorials! Is there any other tricks to create openings such walls?
Hey justin, could you please say that where did you get that high end texture??
Another great video Justin - thanks! Can you explain why you set the default texture (taking away the color) and then added the wood texture?
Just to get rid of the pink material - you could go directly to the wood texture if you'd like...
Awesome - thanks again @@Thesketchupessentials
