- The final grind is on! With only a few more masteries to mop up, the main limiting factor to my progression is starting to become experience. There aren't a lot of secret tricks at my disposal to grind up experience any faster than just playing the game, which might put my lofty 455-mastery ambitions in danger - especially because I've been neglecting an incredibly useful trick for hundreds of hours now...

you can also get +20% xp from ANY source from the renown heart in Seitung Province at the temple training grounds, the vendor also sell another +10%xp from kills for 1k karma
I've almost never seen the guild boost boon on anyone. Even people who live inside WvW. No idea how something so strong and permeant buff can be not known about by everyone. But I did just stumble across it myself exploring the guild hall, like most things in this game it's hard to actually learn and become informed about important things.
I did the Griffon quest blind together with a friend in an afternoon - some of the most fun I had in the game in my 4000 hours played at that point
I didn't even know the guild buffs even existed in the first place...
Didn't even know about that perma booster, in time to grind for EoD masteries

I'm always impressed by how cool the character looks without changing any skins. I don't know if we start loving the character by watching the series or just looks cool indeed haha
Elevate with skyscale and fly with your griffon;that’s the way.Flying with skyscale kills the time.
I totally forgot that this existed too when I tried to level my masteries a long time ago...
I leveled up EOD masteries buy farming the Guild Hall in EOD.

Love these zero to hero things with someone who actually knows everything in the game already (even if they forget stuff at times!) AND someone who is hyper manic and runs at a billion miles per hour.. oh, and is a decent "gamer."
Plenty of us are older, much slower in the brain processing and reflexes departments, not a "gamer." Like, one single minute of watching you do anything in the game takes some of us half an hour!! 😅
Not knocking anything, still entertaining and impressive!! Just jealous as someone who is also quite manic but is frustratingly too old and slow and deals with chronic migraine to even compare to 1% of this pace haha...

Äh! 5:12 Griffon is so much more useful when you have skyscale already!
With the dragon you get the height needed for the griffon to get you *anywhere* in seconds.
Speeds up farming daily chests/nodes/taco routes/following metas so incredibly much just because you can move around so fast.
Having skyscale, griffon and the prototype position rewinder is literally the best combo for moving around you can have. 🤷😂

I've been doing HPs for extra mastery xp in PoF. They're pretty quick and. Easy for giving pretty decent xp

when he glide or mount : he has 4spells on the right bar (competence), someone can tell me what this is or when find more info on it please ? ! thanks
These are masteries you can unlock with XP and HoT/PoF mastery points.

Sad that i can't really follow this as a newer player bcs of all the skips when you teleport..
Based on what I heard, skyscale was a pain in the ... But I have prepared my mind and my gold for this and its not that bad. And yes blish and return to achievements makes the grind a loooot easier.
Edit: just how many hours would it take for a full stack of map currency anyway?

8 years, over 2500 hours in the game and I didn't know about guild boosters, I'm such a TWA.....t
Are... you... serious... You have to be kidding me. You have intentionally avoided buffs called out to for years and now you are suddenly interested.
