Any Degrassi fans here? Yes, I'm well past my teenage years and still watch Degrassi, but I've been watching since 2001 so I can't stop now LOL.
I recently finished the latest season (now a Netflix original series called Degrassi Next Class) and a song that one of the characters named Maya sings, really caught my ear. It was just one of those "I need to cover this right now" songs. So beautiful. I searched it on youtube, watched the clip from the episode, and finally stumbled across the entire song which I hadn't even heard yet, uploaded by the demo singer and cowriter herself! Her name is Shobha, and according to the description of her video, wrote the song along with Christopher Ward and Rob Well, so shout out to all of them! Your song is great! :)
I hope they don't mind that I used that to create the instrumental because there are no karaokes of this song in existence. Also that means it wasn't a completely clean instrumental and I apologize if it sounds overly echoey/wonky. I did what I could do lol
