One thing I like about your channel guys is you don’t say ‘smash like’ ‘hit subscribe’ ‘tap the bell icon’. You just play golf, have a chat, bit of a swear. It’s great. Feels like we’re playing along.
41 years of tuning out my parents’ shot by shot description of their golf rounds and the last 15 years of my husband’s...and yet never missed an episode of Bad Golf. A real testament to my love of both Alex and John.
9:40 "Honestly, this place looks amazing on camera." Camera falls and films the sky. Couldn't have been skripted. Alex and John, massive THANK YOU for keeping us entertained during lockdowns. Stay safe and don't let it get to you. We'll see us on the other side.
I love the 7am delivery because I'm just home from work, I can lay in the sack and enjoy some bad golf, some lovely golf, a few 'oh johns' and some delightful Horne-ery
Love John's shot to the "buttress" hole ... "I'll just try and get over it, not go for the green" Cue tentative shot that is short of the buttress! Followed by outrageous escape from the bunker! And John has developed a slice!
Sandy Lodge is on my door step Always been a warm friendly club and a cracking course An Open regional qualifying course held there once every 5 years Glad you enjoyed lads
We were told in America it would be 15 days to slow the spread and that was almost a year ago now. I can’t stand what has come over all of the world. But you know who absolutely loves it? Big Tech and governments who like to censor and control its populations I.e. most world governments.
so nice to see you guys at our course! Very glad you enjoyed it :) Wish i could have been there that day to meet you, you must come and play again when golf gets back underway
I love watching john twitching over a drive. You just know that chaos is about to ensue followed by a few foghorns 😂😂😂 fantastic stuff as always lads 👏 👏 👏
Tip on the first put you did John. Go for a 9 iron and hold your 9 iron like a putter to get the distance. Hold it a little lower like ussual and watch it go👌
Love the channel guys That golf course looks amazing John I noticed when you drop your left foot back when driving and your shoulders are square to the target you Don,t slice the ball . Look forward to watching your golfing adventures for 2021 When your lockdown is over Cheers Graham
11.07 Tee Shot - That's the best i have ever felt in my life .... i think we might be superb at Golf 12.02 3rd Shot - .... Oh John, What the f*** was that ... OH MY GOD ... makes you feel sick That's Relatable golf
Just watched John’s Netflix stand up episode, very dam funny. This is one of my new go too golf vids now along with Rick, Crossfield and James Robinson.
Great video guys enjoyed it. Alex I think you should take a little bit more time over your shots especially the short game, just some advice from one novice to another 👍🏻
Another great golf vlog from you guys although I think you should take it turns in doing the filming its not easy playing golf and filming at the same time golf is hard enough at the best of times John is on a right winner
Most nerve-wracking opening tee shot for me (20 handicap) was without question 1st on the Old Course St Andrews. Lots of tourists taking pictures and expecting you to be very good. Bit of slice but aimed miles left and was ok, and walked off with a par!
Balls! I've read and heard that a lot of top players would rather use a beaten up pro v than a new cheap ball. Being a fellow bad golfer I've never found a discernable difference between any of them and will stick to my warbirds for the time being.
I think Jon brushing the leaves out the way at 4:30 should count as a penalty as it’s not on the green, it’s on the fringe. (Please let me know if I’m wrong as I’d love to be able to do that in local comps)
Enjoying the nip&tuck competition. Even some decent golf on offer! That's quite possibly the worst ball I've seen anyone play with in a very long time. "New Balls Please"
Looks a great course.... do have 1 question. Why does Alex tee off first when John has won the hole? I feel John is getting a slight advantage as pressure is on Alex to hit a good one not knowing what you have done with yours.... let's play fair Mr Robins!!
I have the same problem with my cupholder on my push cart. Any small bounce spills a good amount of my drink onto the scorecard holder. That buttress sandtrap was impressive and scary. It must be 8+ ft tall. And I bet its bounced a few balls right back into someones face. I feel like Alex has the ball way to far back in his stance. its almost to his back foot. Possibly why its going right. The state of Alex's ball at the end of the 9 was shocking and a bit upsetting. John gave him a bunch of nice balls a few weeks back. He needs to use them.
I enjoy watching Golf Sidekick, he plays mostly in Thailand and always uses caddies who repair all divots. Do you guys use caddies that we don't see, or when you make a hole in the fairway do you just stamp on it and walk on??
"we might be out of lockdown by the time this comes out" HA! not quite lads. make sure you sign the petition to allow golf in lockdown so we can get back out there!
Nothing makes me happier on UA-cam than a good “oh John!!”
Haha lol me too
Well said!!!

One of the best rounds played by both Alex and John. Well done lads
I think we may be superb at golf..... oh John!! ... :)
Best channel on UA-cam in my humble opinion 👌keep up the good work!
They really haven't
Alex that shot under the trees by the bunker was quality! Best shot you've hit on the channel for me.
'What a putt... now chuck that ball in the sea' Classic. Robins.
I love these videos. So much fun watching you guys develop and improve your game. I find it all rather inspiring. Please keep going.
Lockdown 2....I remember that... we could still play golf here then.... Halcyon days. Stay safe boys and it's great to have you back.
Love John's shot to the "buttress" hole ... "I'll just try and get over it, not go for the green" Cue tentative shot that is short of the buttress! Followed by outrageous escape from the bunker!
And John has developed a slice!
Surely it's just a 'leak'???
Im really loving the traveling shots of the coffee splashing about
John's base gravy brought me here.
Sandy Lodge is on my door step
Always been a warm friendly club and a cracking course
An Open regional qualifying course held there once every 5 years
Glad you enjoyed lads
I just want to say, I golf with my good friend Alex a lot, and I have started saying ‘Shot, Alex.’ because of you guys 😂
This is the only 'TV personality starts a youtube channel' I'll accept
Superb golf I love it nothing beats this channel makes me very happy in lockdown 3, keep up the great work
Very fast greens😮 and btw, it looks amazing that course…dang..
Some of those fairways are so wide, its may as well be a heaven on earth. Cant miss!.. but I would find a way probably.
I love Alex’s swing tourettes that he gets just prior to taking the shot…😂 How you do that and still hit a decent shot is beyond me.
Great course. Had an ace on the 10th. John smashed his drive on the 6th - that was a long way down the fairway. Looking forward to part 2
Lockdown 2, oh that feels so long ago now whilst living in lockdown 3!
Yeah didn't age well. Just nice to see some golf being played though.

First an ‘ I think we might be good at this’, then an ‘oh John!’ followed by the horn then ‘ oh dear’ 😃
At last, someone on UA-cam that plays golf like me.
Love it , Brilliant
Now trying to go through all your videos
Cheers
Fantastic video as always chaps, greens look in great nick for the time of year!
I love watching john twitching over a drive. You just know that chaos is about to ensue followed by a few foghorns 😂😂😂 fantastic stuff as always lads 👏 👏 👏
That course looks fantastic.
God I love these videos, you guys are really improving aswell! Keep up the good work
Great video as always, keep them coming. Two solid front 9s.
Tip on the first put you did John. Go for a 9 iron and hold your 9 iron like a putter to get the distance. Hold it a little lower like ussual and watch it go👌
Finding this channel has been brilliant for me, you guys are great fun 😀. Can't believe you're using a molitor ball 🙈🙈
The course looks sensational for the time of year. Quite how this is more dangerous than running with someone in a park I don't know.
Brilliant, twas quite a windy day but yes, November was nice!
Love the channel guys
That golf course looks amazing
John I noticed when you drop your left foot back when driving and your shoulders are square to the target you Don,t slice the ball .
Look forward to watching your golfing adventures for 2021
When your lockdown is over
Cheers Graham
"we might be out of lockdown by the time this video goes out" oh i giggled lol
Haha lolll that’s how I feel ahha
Alex move that ball position forward! 😱
Loved the play today, obviously both improving. Keep the videos coming once you can get out and play again!
Love this channel. I would love to get out with the gents as I too am poor at golf 😅
Been great to watch y'all improve so much!
I love Alex (and you too John) but his pre shot routine will never not make me extremely uncomfortable!
11.07 Tee Shot - That's the best i have ever felt in my life .... i think we might be superb at Golf
12.02 3rd Shot - .... Oh John, What the f*** was that ... OH MY GOD ... makes you feel sick

Great video lads need this in lockdown 👍🏌️♂️
Loving the golf videos totally jealous of all the perks you get
Just watched John’s Netflix stand up episode, very dam funny. This is one of my new go too golf vids now along with Rick, Crossfield and James Robinson.
Lovely round gentlemen.
Visibly improving guys. Course looks great. Stay metal, Eric. 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
Old Johnny JR: "Sounded good!"
Alex: "Well, it's not lost"
Familiar interaction
Hope the tractor sighting leaderboard is continued. I reckon Alex has a chance to win that one
Great video guys enjoyed it. Alex I think you should take a little bit more time over your shots especially the short game, just some advice from one novice to another 👍🏻
Just subbed, 4 minutes in... and the coffee is making me sad. Such caffeine abuse!
I love your videos so much! Two weeks. Too long. Feel sad.
Molitor balls! Used to game those. Very cheap and cheerful
Ahhh, the Molitor golf ball. I used 1 of them once, it felt like I was playing with a pebble.
A Molitor - I haven't seen one of those in 20 years at least !!
Molitor. Constructed more like a cannonball than a golf ball.
Nice job guys!
Nothing like a couple of stonky stonkerson’s to get the round going.
Hahah agreed
Another great golf vlog from you guys although I think you should take it turns in doing the filming its not easy playing golf and filming at the same time golf is hard enough at the best of times John is on a right winner

I love it real golf no amateurs trying to talk like there pros like on most course
The beautiful golf shots almost distracted me from the beautiful scenery.
Lolll

You can move loose impediments anywhere on or off the course Rule 13.1a
6:25 "Not a cloud in the sky". Literally a cloud right there center frame.
He did it on purpose
Another great video. When do we get part 2?
Enjoying the nip&tuck competition. Even some decent golf on offer!
That's quite possibly the worst ball I've seen anyone play with in a very long time. "New Balls Please"
A Molitor 🤣🤣🤣 they used to be the ones I’d smash into the trees for fun 🪨
You guys are are brilliant! That 2nd bunker looks like a nuke was detonated there.... Stay safe if you do go into lockdown (stupid virus)
Thanks lads, needed that👍
I now love Taskmaster and John Robins and Elis James on BBC as a result of watching Bad Golf. I feel that I have been influenced 😅
Golf: The only sport where the goal is to do as little as possible. :-)
Second lockdown? We barely had a first one in Florida lol.
Does anyone know what pull cart John uses?
Always terrifying to have people watching as you tee off.
Looks a great course.... do have 1 question. Why does Alex tee off first when John has won the hole? I feel John is getting a slight advantage as pressure is on Alex to hit a good one not knowing what you have done with yours.... let's play fair Mr Robins!!
2 strokes there for cleaning debris off the fairway when putting from the fringe
Depends what he was moving out of the way.
you can move loose impediments without penalty
@@andygreen2765 Soil and sand are not classed as loose impediments however.
@@sammdowning3270 Sorry, assumed he was brushing tree detritus away given its late Autumn, you are absolutely right about soil/sand.
Anyone know which golf trollies they are using?

What camera do you guys use for shooting the videos ?
iPhone I think
John can I ask which trolly you use? Decided I'm going to rewatch from the very beginning :) roll on the courses reopening
Whats the hardest course do you think you've played in the series so far??
Can we get a Pete, Rick and bad golf face off when lock down is done I think that would be amazing
“We might be out of lockdown by the time this goes out” Big oof
Any plans to play a links course?
way overdue
Trip to Merseyside or Kent
Oh john!....
Alex, throw that dam ball out!! It's so old the paint is wearing off and it's turning yellow!!
This is a new record 7:56 until the first "Oh John"
Please stop.
Ooooowe john what you doing on football focus your a bad golfer like us not a bad football pundit 😂👍
"we might be out of lockdown by the time this comes out" HA! not quite lads. make sure you sign the petition to allow golf in lockdown so we can get back out there!
Olll funny
I don't play with old golf balls because I lose all of them before they get old.
Yes yes
Superb viewing - thanks lads 👍
My god, I haven't seen a MOLITOR ball for about 15 years, Alex will be using a Penfold ace next
Haha lolll
Lord of the rings and a tractor I really love "bad golf"
Ohhhh, "get the ball in the hole," could have sworn we were just digging tiny holes in a nice park with flags in it.
Looks like Alex has been practising
