GRAND CANYON'S BEST HIKE. South Kaibab to Bright Angel.

- The South Kaibab to the Bright Angel is the perfect Grand Canyon hikes. This 17 mile horseshoe loop is the idea route to take you down to the mighty Colorado River and back up in a day. Two bridge crossings and an optional stop at Phantom Ranch gives this route nice variety. In November it was chilly on the rim but still not too frigid to jump in the river at the bottom. It was a memorable day with Cc and Miles in one of America's great national parks.

I did that last week. That last 1 1/2 miles from the last rest house to the rim was really tough. Make sure you are in really good shape.
Glad you could do it! It is a steep uphill on the way back up!
Sr. Asher! I’m so glad to see you’re doing well. I hiked south kaibab to skeleton point in July, and I had to click when I saw this notification! Currently finishing up my final year at Clemson before graduating. You’re such an inspiration.
