- Beautiful sunny day at Oceanside, California. Started walking from north of The Strand Beach Boardwalk to Oceanside Pier then headed down south to the south of The Strand boardwalk. The Strand boardwalk is about 1.2 miles from Breakwater Bay Street to Wisconsin Ave.
Oceanside is a coastal city on California's South Coast. It is the third-largest city in San Diego County, California. The Oceanside Pier, first built in 1888 (and now in its sixth incarnation), is one of the longest wooden piers on the western United States coastline at 1,942 feet

Where are all the masks in the midst of thos Pandemic. Do you know what COVID29 is? Does anybody even care whether they live or die? Sure glad I am not there...looks very dangerous with the invisible Virus. No wonder CA is in so much trouble with the hospitals filling up everywhere!
I was born and raised in oceanside. I love it there. Now I live in tx. It took me a long time to get useto to tx. Now I like tx. But my heart always goes back oceanside. Theres been many times that I want to go back and live in oceanside. Now I'm in my 70's and know I can't afford living there. Back in the day we would just walk down mission st to go to the beach. We would spend the whole day there and walk back up mission st when it would start to get dark to go home. We did this every summer and sometimes weekends. I miss it sometimes very much !!

@@WindWalkTravelVideos yes I would go back every Sept for a neightborhood reunion. Caught up with old friends from back in the day. Now we can't have those reunions because of corvid-19. But maybe when get to a new normal. We can have 'em again. I hope so. I love seeing everybody from back in the day!

TX-on the beach is a bit too humid ! For the climate i will take So Cal ! Galveston is a hoot,though ! Gr8 Nightclubs-and the Shrimp-are Texas-size !
This is why i love youtube , sat here in south yorkshire in the uk with my morning cup of tea on a gray overcast morning , then suddenly i`m transported to beautiful california , the surf, the girls , the sun , oh my!!!!

I live 4 streets(blocks) from beach right from where this is filmed. I’m a native moved from N. California when I was 9. I lived in Oceanside past 30yrs. and I want to leave!!

Gabriel Kubinski People here are self absorbed, fake, con artists. There are No Real people, no friends, or people that care. It's sad being it is nice on the outside. But you can't live outside and that's another point? Too many homeless people constantly around. It's not safe.! I'm tired of it! After being attacked 9+ times you quit counting & just want to get out.

Thanks also for this video. I take my son for a walk along the pier and two kids playgrounds like 2-3 times a week and whenever he is fussy or is longing to go back he'll start whining, "agua, agua, agua!" And so I'll put this video on and he immediately calms down when he sees and hears the sounds of the beach.

I like Oceanside it's very beautiful and I been living more an 15 years .always I say no way to move form Oceanside. And every time I walking in the beach I enjoyed. Best weather in summer and in winter too. God bless my please. Thanks for the video. It was amazing.

The harbor was the spot to go when the crowds started coming in but now even the harbor is packed like every day too

I love Oceanside. We've goe here for about 6 summers. So much so. that I know everywhere you were filming. I'm coming in a couple of weeks. I can't wait. Even if purple tier is in place I know it's going to be a good time. Oceanside has the best people. Y'all rock!
I guess it’s too late to complain about how videos like this bring more people here. Still love the beach here. Surfing the harbor, getting some sick peaks, first light on fall mornings. Still enough room to sneak around and get some uncrowded moments. Every body surfs now. Can’t blame them.

Thank you for this video I grew up in Oceanside from the age of 2yrs old. I still have family that lives in Oceanside and Carlsbad, I visit every chance I get which is not often. I would love to move back home but it is too expensive and a lot of things have changed however, it is always good to visits family and friends. Fishing on the pier is awesome!

I lived in the next town (Vista), so I appreciated this video. I also loved going to the retro burger place at the end of the pier. Waxing nostalgic here. 😷

I loved Oceanside back when I was stationed at Camp Pendleton especially hanging out done by the rec center where we used to cruise down to the beach or over to the park on Sunday overlooking the valley or clubbing at Vista Entertainment Center, brings back fond memories.
My unit was in the opening credits of the movie Heartbreak Ridge with Clint Eastwood but I missed out on that and Top Gun filming due to being deployed at the time. DelMar beach on base was our little sanctuary with Club Beach DelMar with cabanas for rent for us Marines and Sailors to enjoy. I still remember those huge burgers and gyros from Angelo's Burgers on the strip and the bonfires down by the beach.

Totally miss Oceanside. Lived there for years when I was in the Marine Corps life. It was a great little place to roam around, push some wood on the beach, and just take in those beautiful sights.

I have been in Massachusetts almost 40 years, With blessing from God I was purchasing 2013 a house in Oceanside which the ocean-distances 6 miles from my home.Oceanside is a wonderful place for people should stay forever and mores . I now live in Oceanside and yeah it's nice....but South Beach, Miami is just grandiose. They kept the Art Deco feel, fantastic clubs, and the place is always full of energy!! South Beach is it!

@@WindWalkTravelVideos one, that I think really would photograph well, and fits your style, "Top of the World Park". Usually very crowded, and filled with mountain bikers though. For a driving video, drive out of PCH at 23N through to east on Mulholland "The Snake" ... and/or drive the whole Mulholland Hoghway? I know it's long (do it in pieces?)... I'll think of some more! You have great selections already 🤗👍!
