Thanks for watching, from all of us at Matt's off-road recovery! - Авто та транспорт
That's why Matt is always touching hot metal in the shop - he absorbs the heat and stores it for snow recoveries
What you don't see is the large bolts he heats up and carries in his pocket 🤣
That's hilarious
The truth comes out
Hahaha
Yup, and that is why Matt always 'forgets his (winter) jacket' ! Methinks his thermal nerve bundles are
KAPUT ! ;-)
Lizzie - "it's only flat on the bottom!" best line of the episode.
That's what my grandpa used to say, so funny!
Lizzy has not gained the Jedi master's ways of staying warm, but she is still a ray of sunshine on a dark snowy night. Absolutely love the videos... the off road wrecker build is my favorite at the moment.
Yesterday my husband went through a 7hr open heart surgery - the only thing that kept me sane was watching your recovery videos, one after the other. Your steady voices (no yelling), the sound of the winches and engines… thank you ♥️. Greetx from austria, middle of europe Ps: we drive a Land Rover Defender td5 with everything added
Good luck to your husband. Hopefully his recovery will be great.
Welcome to the zipper club
Prayers for a full recovery. 🙏
Hope your husband has a speedy recovery.
My mother went through open heart surgery years ago.
Best of luck with the recovery. Best wishes
I’m really liking the new camerakid. He seems really cool and understands the importance of a good snow parka and real snow gloves. I bet he even wears waterproof warm snow boots.
Ya mean unlike Lizzie?

MORR Lizzy

On this one, we got the call and left 15 minutes later. I didn’t have time to go home and get my snow clothes.
Hey I just found someone who knows. 😂
Idk, the new kid was gettin a too chitchaty with Lizzy when they were riding together…😉
@@pauljoseph8338 i know im gonna have to visit hurricane and have a word with him.
Matt is definitely born for this job. Any weather condition doesn’t stop him from any job to be done … without a coat, his mammal blood able regulate his temperature. Well done Matt’s Recovery Team!
They say cold, is mind over matter.
I am an Eskimo. I say that is BS.
Eat foods high in calories, dress in multiple layers (3 at least, not including skivvies). Thermal underarmor, sweats, and a parka or something wind/waterproof. Keep your feet dry with XTRATUFF neoprene insulated rubber boots. For gloves, wells lamont makes some comfortable warm work gloves. But, I use the $1 blue wrist cotton gloves for the dexterity, when wrenching.
"guess what in doing...freezing" one of the best lines from the crew, EVER.
It’s amazing how Matt wears the exact same outfit for a snow storm as the desert. Great videos! 👍👍
He's taking branding a little too far
He should make a Matt's Recovery Hawaiian print, short sleeve to wear in winter, lol.
He has 31 identical shirts and two pants, just enough for one month. :)
Man, watching this channel's growth has made me strangely proud, especially since I have absolutely nothing to do with said growth, lol. But watching you guys go from just under 100k to over 1m making good, clean content with no clickbait, not being rude to customers, nothing but friends and friendly people, has just been the most satisfying thing to watch and I can't think of many other channels that deserve it MORR! (I had to get at least one in, lol)
You put one too many "O's" in. & not enough "R's". It's MORR not MOOR.
But yes you have a good point😊
Yes!
Har har hardy har
Agreed! It's been a pleasure watching. Love the consistency in output, not getting too glossy. Please keep it there because that's what makes it all so lovable... everyone's work to make it great.
Absolutely. My 9 year old loves this channel and it's nice not having to worry about him watching it and seeing or hearing something inappropriate.
I'm glad Lizzie got her feet back.
Their's nothing worse then losing your footing. ;)
Lizzies good nature and chucklly giggles are so heartwarming. Even if her poor feet are suffering.
Lizzy is awesome, even when she's half-frozen or in pain, she's smiling and laughing!
Lizzie is adorable she always adds a bit of joy to every video
I was just thinking the same thing after watching, then I scroll down and yours is the first comment I see!
True but I think sometimes she tires to hard to be said person.
@@-MOYST- tries too hard to be said person?
I see the same thing in Lizzy thay i see in Matt, genuine good person, & no drama.
Lizzie a sweetheart Matt needs to build her a Crawler
And fearless!
That guy sure is brave to go off roading in mud and snow with those tires. Those look like all season tires (and no gas). YIKES
With some of the snow recoveries like in this one, it looks like a set of normal winter tires would have been enough for the stuck vehicle to not getting stuck in the first place. (And for the recovery vehicle to have a way easier time)
“It’s only flat on the bottom…”. Good one, Lizzy!!!💛
Matt is the kinda guy I’d want as my best fried on speed dial. Such a kind heart and never fearful.
Looks like Matt braved the snow & cold in a short sleeve shirt so Lizzy could use his jacket to stay warm.Good man there. Thanks for the video.
Utah is truly a magical place. You can drive a few hours and see sandy deserts, snowy mountains, salt flats and green forests. I wish my area was as diverse, thanks for taking us along on your journey!
Definitely some beautiful country in Utah. I've been through many areas of the state, I've been through the area where Matt is, & where FabRats is, & where Robby Layton is.
remember... in California you can surf in the morning, ski midday and rock crawl in the desert late afternoon...
At times of the year you can snow ski, drive an hour and then waterski. Love living in Utah.
@@macking104 I mean, sure. But you're doing each of those things for maybe 30 minutes and spending the rest of the time suffering through traffic, and lately paying $6/gal for fuel. I left UT for the chance to work at a cool job in L.A., but I am over it. CA definitely isn't worth it. Utah has everything and more, for less than half the cost.
Born and raised in Utah. Went to SUU. Visited all these places when I was going to school. One of the reasons I enjoy watching the channel.
A brief suggestion for the snow issues. My great wife and myself lived up a fairly vicious Colorado mountain road that got snow every fall, winter and spring. We used snow chains every year finally developing into a very serious set recommended by a friend further up the canyon that plowed snow with a Ram 1 ton. Had 3/8" side chains with double cross bars with ice bars. Chains were heavy and took a while to mount and then get tight, but were like driving with tracks. Whole rig was a 76 F-250 3/4 ton 4x4 upgraded to a bored out 390 Police Interceptor with 4 barrel made by Weber with a high torque cam. Then could get anywhere along with 1976 Warn 8,000 pound winch and had a snow plow from a dump truck, hydraulic flat bed, springs upgraded to 11,700 GVW, log hoist and three fuel tanks holding 60 gallons of premium. Got burned out by forest fire and now lived the good retired life. Truck still has an excellent owner and "STILL TRUCKING!" Our driving was different from yours as no sand involved just hard granite, ground up granite, minor mud but very serious snow as have had snow coming over hood with no plow while going up a 9% grade. Really enjoy your videos but please consider serious snow chains as makes life much easier in slippery or deep snow.
Lizzie at the end when she says she can feel her feet again cracked me up as you could see the joy on her face 🤣
Every Canadian can identify with her on this lol
Well, this explains Paul's last vid, "we're gonna give pappa Sherm's wrecker some love..." Friggen love that guy haha.
I can't believe Matt could turn that truck around with those racing slick tires, that man can drive
and right next to that snowy cliff of death. so add balls of steel to the list too
Wow he had me puckered up when he was backing off the edge of that cliff. Nerves of steel.
That teamwork is great between Fabrats and MORR!
I think Matt keeps Lizzy with him for the sunshine she exudes. Her smile is like sunshine so Matt can keep wearing short sleeves and no gloves on those snow recoverys. Love seeing Paul and you guys being such great friends.
She's definitely one of the show's stars.
No doubt about it - she is a force of nature. When everybody is discouraged any job crunches to a halt, but a single "let's get 'er done" person can pull it through.
@@flagmichael Everyone should have a Lizzy in their lives.
And again Lizzy is like a bright ray of sunlight on a cold snowy night .
... when you're stuck, out of gas and have a flat tire. Just sayin.'
@@wilycoyote5360 it's NOT Lizzy's pickup & she had nothing to do with getting it stuck! Just sayin!
@@timothygeiger8271 no kidding
@@wilycoyote5360 don't know what you are just sayin'
She is cute
Lizzie's country accent is so cute... she's 100% cowgirl and you guys are making her a motorhead... lol
Lord we love Lizzie! Great to have Fab Rats and Matt together.
The takeaway from these recoveries is how to manage your additude and maintain a positive attitude in horrible conditions. Great Job Crew!!
That was funny, Lizzie is freezing and Matt with a shirt sleeve shirt on. Mind over matter, the matter that Lizzie is cold and Matt is not. Thank you for a snowy chilly video.
I sail on Lake Superior. A fellow sailor and friend wears a t-shirt and shorts all year. I’m fully dressed up with waterproof gear. The water is COLD. It’s certainly mind over matter!
My dad was a avid ice fisherman and he was like that. Cold just didn't matter.
@@retro440 My oldest Son is like that, he did not inherit that from ME!!
Your have to remember that Miss Lizzie is a tender young women.
it's summer for matt and winter for everyone. 😁
I’m Aussie and If it’s 15 degrees I’m wearing a hoodie and a jacket and it’s below zero and Matt’s in a short sleeve shirt. Guess he’s just built different
He brought a coat but it ended up on lizzie. Dads are built different.
I have no idea what made the UA-cam algorithm recommend this channel but I’m glad it did. Now I’m addicted and haven’t been able to stop watching these videos over the last couple months.
Lizzy makes everything fun, love her attitude.
I love when Matt and Paul are in the same video. Right on boys!
Matt’s cold tolerance is an amazing thing!
I know!! I heard him explain why and how he does that but it still makes me cold to watch him! LOL!!
If you're working, you don't have time to "be" cold. As in sitting there thinking "damn I'm cold". You're just thinking about the job.
Quite possibly, Matt may actually be Chuck Norris in real life!
Well, he's clearly a viking, so...
30 degrees F. That is not cold! My definition of a blizzard is 200 yard visibility in snow, with a 30 mph wind and -30 F. That is cold!🥶
Lizzie is delightfully adorable. She makes the channel better. What a gal.
I was like Matt till I turned 50 a couple years ago. I never had on a jacket in our cold Indiana winters. Now if it gets below 50 I freeze. So we bought a house in Florida…lol Paul is the most positive person on UA-cam. He shines in the worst conditions. Love when y’all work together…
Just watching Matt in short sleeves makes me cold in me heated home. Lizzie made it through with frozen feet till the end saying "I can feel my feet!" Great job with "O miles till Empty" on the gas gage.
Can't believe how strong Randall is! LOL! Randall the winch point.
THAT, was grins.. Loved the recovery, loved doing it from my warm house!! Thanks for taking me along. Had a great time.
“It’s only flat on the bottom”. Truer words were never spoken.
Lizzy is the best content of any utube channel... she just makes us smile
Liz, at 10:51 that is how you drive in the snow. However you do NOT stop like you did at 11:02, the resistance from that much snow will help you stop if you need to stop so if your worried about getting stuck dont slow down.
Yep
Best quote "It's only flat on the bottom". Lizzy is great.
As much as these guys know about maneuvering 4WDs in snow, I marvel that they go into deep snow without first chaining-up.
There are these things called tire chains ! That work good in snow!
Paul! What a jokester. You all had a great attitude despite the conditions and made this job look like friends just hanging out.
Matts built different. No sweater in the snow and not being bothered by it like an absolute legend
Cool Star Wars effect with the snow flying. The "impact wrench" noises made me think of Chewbaca, even though Lizzie will have no idea who that is. Let that Ford owner know he needs new tires, especially if he's going into a snow storm.
I absolutely love how all the crew is ALWAYS in good spirits and never getting frustrated, angry or snippy with one another. Always just an adventure and just “figuring it out” mentality! Love all your videos including Fab Rats! Keep up the good work! Best entertainment on UA-cam ❤️
My guess is all the angry stuff is edited out.
Agreed!
The awesome thing about Paul, he knows what the go pedal is
Matt always displays great focus. He seems to mentally map out the steps for each job and gets them done, even while chatting with the team.
Matt tells Lizzy not to put that truck in a bad way then Matt takes over and gets that Ford stuck lol
I love how Lizzie is freezing and Matt is wearing a short sleeve shirt..
Yeh... that guy was definitely stuck. He made the right call by getting you to come get him out!! Sometimes I fee sorry for Lizzy. Her poor feet must have been totally frozen. LOL!! Nice to have friends who will show up at the drop of a hat to help!!
Had a buddy of mine come pull me out of a stupid decision drift early this morning (1:30 to about 3:30). He had to drive 40 minutes just to get where I was! Best kind if friends I deed@
Love it when you and Paul do a video together! Glad Lizzy can feel her feet again. Running on empty for a lot of miles, nice to make the gas station. Awesome recovery, thanks for sharing!
Lizzie is delightful, isn't she? That WAS a challenging rescue, but, as always, a successful one. Looking forward to the next one!
Everyone is cold but Matt says...Hold my coat!!🤣🤣🤣 Antifreeze runnin' through those veins and arteries.
Are we going to say what an absolute unit Matt is being in the snow the whole time with no jacket.
It's amazing.
I'd be frozen stiff
He's adiabatic! 😂
I don’t go out side without 12 layers on WHEN it snows here in Oklahoma, Matt has nothing on in a blizzard 😂 props.
It’s amazing to me how you all keep such a positive attitude while doing these jobs.
Perfect example of if ya can't turn it, Burn It!! Good work Matt and company!!
Matt reminds me of my father. The cold never bothered him. I remember cutting cordwood at -20 degrees F and he was wearing a flannel shirt, jeans, boots and gloves and was comfortable. He always told me that you have to get it straight in your head that it isn't cold. Never worked for me.
Once you tell yourself it’s warm, you’ll be alright.
It really looked like the only thing that bothered him was the snow getting in his eyes.
@@groggysword33 people who have the ability to withstand the cold by mentally blocking it out need to be even more careful. Had a coworker lose 6 toes because he didn’t realize how cold he really was and stayed out way to long. Doubt he even owned long sleeve shirts or a pair of pants. He was built like a polar bear though.
That strategy works great, until it doesn't. These guys get stuck on the mountain one night, and Matt falls asleep in his wet blue jeans, he may not wake up.
@@davepg4173 never looked at that side of it.
That was a mighty fine U-turn my friend
Being from the snow belt I can always appreciate a good snow recovery!👌👍
As a guy from the midwest I can drive in snow, been doing it since I was 16,in Illinois Missouri,Kansas, and Oklahoma, and in mostly 2 wheel drive cars, and trucks. I got me a 4x4 now and go around the neighborhood helping stranded folks get up the hills to their driveways!
Man, that was tough. Oops, lost Paul. Oops, wipers quit. Oops, out of gas again. That was a real multi part rescue. Good job! Everyone and every vehicle made it home safely!
Matt wasm`t out of gas the customer was, and Matt even brought gas.
@@rogerdunn5491 I know that but I think I hear lizzie say the car had been on empty for several or more miles before they make it to the gas station. Not sure which one she was talking about. I'm not being critical. It was a hard rescue! They got it out!
@@dukeflem She was in the pickup being rescued, sorry I took it that you were saying that they always run out of gas, because they don`t fill up. My bad.
I’m old enough to have been on and lived through a few recoveries like this. It’s an experience like none other. I really enjoy these video’s. Fun and entertaining. It’s going to be interesting when Matt puts some tracks on one of his vehicles. Casey LaDelle is having a good amount of success with his tracked JEEP. Also going to be interesting to watch Paul give the wrecker some much needed love. You can bet Paul is going to turn the old wrecker into a beast of a workhorse.
Did you watch the video in which Paul says some of what he's going to do to the old wrecker? An automatic transmission for one, & i believe he said he's going to replace what's under the hood with a 400.
@@timothygeiger8271 yeah, I know he has some major upgrades scheduled. Still waiting on some parts. And now he knows the Windsheild wiper motor needs replacing. I’m confident in saying that it will be quite capable when Paul is finished. That old truck is part of the family. It will not die on Paul’s watch.
@@byronwhitney665 it's definitely a part of his family😆 I've enjoyed watching the videos Paul has done explaining the history of that old wrecker, one that was good is one of the last videos Paul's dad was in, when him & Paul are replacing winches & springs. Got to see Paul & his dad work together one last time😊
Tracks on the wrecker would be pretty sweet and unique!
@@ConSeann3ry i guess if Paul wants to try tracks on the wrecker he could?
Paul doesn't usually do that many recovery or towing jobs.
Towing & recovery is Matt's little niche😆🤣
Matt turning that F-150 round on trail, nerves of steel !! wowwwww
matt is on another level in cold weather 🤣he is wet in the snow with a short sleeves cloth and spend a lot of time in the snow and he i didnt even see he shivering.
Always good to see Paul in the videos! And Ole hot Blooded Matt still rocking the short sleeves in the snow!🤒😩😂😂💯🙏🏾✌🏽
Great video everyone. Always fun seeing the Fab Rats helping out the MORR crew. Matt's imperviousness to cold is amazing.
Man look at Randall pullin that truck with the winch line what a hunk
😂
That little snow cat is worth its weight in gold!😀
Another great video, with Matt, crew, Paul and Randall!! Lizzie, you need to build yourself a cold weather go bag!! Lol
We dont have enough time to fix it, It's only gotta last one more time. Said everyone who works on there own rigs. Awsome content can't wait to see the new tow truck build
I would not even think about not bringing chains when going to the mountains here in Sweden. Then I have spike-tires from start and 4wd. Chains a way easier than showel and winch :)
I love Lizzy's upbeat attitude and enthusiasm!
Let’s see. Blowing snow and cold, getting stuck, snowing even harder, complications, Lizzie bangs her knee and can’t feel her feet and just laughs. Through it all, you all seem to have So. Much. Fun! This was one was one of my favorites. You folks are an inspiration, and I appreciate how you all work together with such a positive attitude.
"We're winning now" always gives me a smile !
Just surprised that nobody has a set of chains for the deeper snow but, then I drive on snowy/icy roads 5 months of the year
Snow out west is a horse of many colors. Sometime chains are in order and other times a bad deal all the way around.
Amazing how Matt can do a complete snow recovery... in a short sleeve shirt!
I love watching your videos. every time I see you guys in deep heavy snow I keep thinking tire chains would make life a LOT easier. Living here in Maine I have a LOT of experience in snow and almost zero in sand. Spinning in snow melts the snow, and makes ice, spinning in sand just gets you more sand. I know chains are a pain to put on but you are spending time digging yourself out. Give them a try.
Yet another great video! I love the "cross-over" videos. It's great having good friends that will answer the call for help at the drop of a hat.
nothing only love and respect for all y'all, one of the best go-to channels on the tube.
Always good to see nature helping out by continually adding snow to make sure the content is good.
Glad to see Matt got a new Super Duty. Looks like a King Ranch. Good on ya Matt!
The good news is, Utah needs all the snowfall it can get!
Those magic reflector stripes must keep Matt warm in all conditions
What I extremely appre ciate about all the crew (Matt's Team, Fab Rat's, Trail Mater Guy, Papa Dar, the kids, wife, everybody that shows up on all these videos is that there is no cussing or taking the Lord's Name in vain, no sexual enuendeos, and no smoking or drinking. YAY!!! Good for them!!! Plenty of positive attitudes one and all! Now you know what I think.
Which is rare that’s why they have a great fan base they do good work and have the attitude to match it!
God damn it, we need more fuckin' cock sucking swear words up in here.
My Dad worked for years, as a Foreman for Caterpillar. He had to go out on snowy jobs like this!!!! These videos remind me of him! It was his job to get men out of the messes they created. Bless your heart, Matt!
Thanks Lizzy for pulling up to the front pump. Quite satisfying. 🥰🥰
Lizzie: The tire is only flat on the bottom! LOL
Honestly i still cant comprehend the sheer will and determination of Matt's not caring about the snow and the cold.I wish i was like Matt 😂😂
Matt is a beast out there with no jacket and not even looking like he's cold! Thats almost as impressive as his driving/recovery!
I just love watching snow recoveries. This one extra nice, mixed with mud 😉 So nice to see that everybody in such a good mood despite the cold, dark and snow. Keep ‘em coming!
8 minutes up and over 3,000 views, just shows what’s important on a Friday.
Cheers Matt and team.
Yup! 8:45 am cst and it's 11,785 views!! 😀

Whatever man Lizzie chooses. He better be on his Ps and Qs.....alot of Fathers out here got her back. Goodluck young men.
Turning that truck around in that road man mad skills I thought I was good but these peeps on another level
All those miserable conditions and everyone stays happy and smiling. You guys are amazing.
Cowboy boots in the snow is one of the coldest pair of shoes you can wear lol! I bet Matt was glad he took the snow cat
I found that out in high school. Spent the whole day out scooping snow in a pair of cowboy boots and got my toes frostbit. Ever since then they have gotten cold at anything under 50 deg.
@@lonhoschar1943 Easy fix, no matter what your footwear. Pull your shoe/whatever off. Slip your stockinged foot into one of those light plastic grocery bags and put the shoe back on. That's all there is to it. Even if you wait until your feet are numb, doing this will allow them to recover warmth.
@@cotton-DaveEXCEPT that I was on a job at a military base, 20 miles from home, and no way to get back to their shop until the maintenance guys came by to pick us up. I now have a pair of boots that I could stand still in -50 deg. all day long and my feet would still be warm.
Turning that Chevy around was badass.
When Lizzy said "It's only flat on the bottom" I had a good laugh! That was funny!
