One of our more popular conversions was taking these Freeride 146" Turbo sleds out to a 154" and/or 165". Have the best of both worlds and proper setups for different snow conditions!
I've heard more issues snapping chains on these Gen5's vs the belts because of the 2 piece "wobble" driveshaft, but that said there's not many running belts out East here. Love the content !
For the 75$ should of changed the stock rollers for the hi torques while you had it apart. I’ve wrecked the stock rollers with less than 300km on the sled
Interesting, I've never broken a roller and I've ran stock ones for over 9000kms. If you drag the brake a tiny bit and gently engage the secondary clutch when you switch directions you're almost guaranteed to never have an issue

Big skidoo guy now 😂 I don’t blame him

its a pretty sweet conversion and awesome that it's doable! A 165" under a 146 chassis would be rad to ride!
Looks sweet! You can only ignore the Polaris reliability issues for so long….
Haha exactly!
Thats one mean looking skidoo
Agreed!! Yours was sick last year too!
I did one on my buddy’s 23 Polaris without the tool for the spring it’s not fun but it’s do able if you can put enough force on it with like a 2x4
Haha yeah 😂
Season two lets goooooooooo!
Yeah 🤘🤘🤘 let's go!
Should have installed some Hi Torque Rollers while the secondary was out. I'm sure they'll be fine. 😉
Yeah the stock ones are great! Engage forward and Reverse gently when you switch directions and it's never really an issue
You guys finding reliability issues with the belt drive conversions on the Turbo R?
Yes the belts love snapping on skidoo's,I've ridden with a bunch of guys who snap multiple then end up putting the chaincase back on. Turbo and NA
@@MountainStandardTimeWithLandon good to know!

Secondary clutch right apart and no high torque rollers ?
