I would have liked to have a microphone on the speaker OR a direct output into an audio interface. I have the feeling I mainly hear the room sound with a phone microphone. Considering the amount of valuable work put in this, this would maybe provide a better idea.
To anyone a little confused by this video, these pedals have massive tonal variations. They didn't tweak any knobs in the video. The gain gets really nice, nice enough on the ones you'd use for metal sound very metal when tweaked. The Freidman, Dual rectifier & Mark 3, Engle Blackmoore, UK Gold all have awesome gain & will really do it all from cleans to jazz to rock to metal. This video doesn't even come close to doing them justice.
Agreed. Huge variety, and the Radar Cap sim takes them to the next level if you are recording or running straight into a PA. A LOT of variety in tone with the Radar pedal. 30 cabs, three different EQ’s to tweak, and over 10 different mic sims. Really gives you a lot of flexibility on a budget!
What about 005? It's the most versatile, even If I choose 002, because I love Marshall sounds. Whit the 002 I can do from blues to vintage extreme metal, but It runs better with hard rock and 80s heavy metal. I'd like a preamp ispired to SLO 100...
You should have long pressed the red/blue button to turn on the cabinet simulation. It would have given you a much fuller sound. The red/blue leds would start blinking.
Cab simulator is for direct in to interface or mixing board. He's got it going into an amp, so you wouldn't want it set to cab simulator... that would sound pretty bad... like a buzz saw on the dirty channel.
What are you running these into? An amp? A power amp and cab? Or straight into a mixer / DAW? I'm curious if this is the actual sound of the preamp and cab sim, or if its being colored by the rest of your chain. Mos of them sound great though, in general.
@@starlord9956 Hmm. Weird. Although I've noticed some pedals sound very weird in the loop on mine too. EQ sounds amazing in there but I tried a different preamp pedal and it just sounded weak in the loop.

It wasn’t a harsh take though? He just pointed out that these demos don’t show the cab sim, which is true. Through an actual amp you don’t need it, but it is worth noting that each pedal has a cab sim built in for direct in or recording. That said, if you’re going to use a cab sim, use their Radar Pedal.
Diezel hagen 1:48
Engl Blackmore 15:49
21:00, a little spider starts crawlin around the preamp pedal

You are right. Tests like this are completely useless
The spider on the gain knob at 21:25 I fell off my chair.
Exelente demostración 👍👍

I would like to see a Soldano SLO 30 or 100, and a Mesa/Boogie Mark II C+, or C++ version!!

I am waiting for the Soldano version myself!
ME ENCANTA DIEZEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Which one has the best clean? I would like to get distortion from the effects, not from the preamplifier.
The one on the left is just a clean amp 30 w pedal
Cool thanks for doing this. Took me a few minutes to realize the 12:00 position is facing the 9V plug.
i'm waiting Fender Deville hot rod version
Two Stones and Day Tripper are very nice!
Regal tone 007! ♥️
Hi. What of tbose preamps have a similar sound of the gallien Krueger 250RL amp? Thanks a lot...
good video, thanks

R u 4 real?
You didn't use IR
Is it better to buy the mooer ge-150?
What's your favorite?

Probably into a cabinet, as cab simulation is not on, and it's going into a 30 watt power amp (The baby bomb) which would blow up an interface.
They used a 1x12
Which would produce the old 100W Hendrix / EVH Marshall plexi?
I think the 019 one
@@yudiutama3233 Thank you :)
Hey Guitar Man Store. You have gotten a bit of my money off these line of devices.
Hi. What of these preamps is better to play Iron maiden songs ? Thanks..
Where is EVH 5150?
See reviews for the 005.
Was the cab mic’d for this?
David Burden Not for this one, just room sound
@@theguitarmanstore6939 u can tell :(
I can't get these pedals to sound right on my Orange cr120
In the loop?
@@brianembree yes

@@brianembree the only one that sounds natural was the brown sound. I tried the Cali mark iv and Black Knight. Both where just tinny sounding and weak
Star Lord bleh. That sucks. Looks like I’ll leave these alone.
Something tells me that this AMT, only in the implementation of the Chinese
They lags as hell in switching from a channel to the other. Must know it.
Wait, you can gig with just those 2 micro pedals and a cab??? WTF?
Yep, and they all sound great!
The Guitar Man store almost the same than the real valve amp (the ones that are the clone)? Or just good?
They are quite similar to the real amps for a pretty small price, we like them a lot.
The demo doesn't showcase a key feature of these pedals - the cab simulator. Each pedal has a compatible cab sim that brings them to life.

Absolutely horrendous opinion
This is a free video after all
Yeah I was harsh., Must have been a bad day.

it's usefull!thx bro!
You're welcome, thanks for watching!
thank you, BUT))) for do that comparison please do recording sound better..)
Enchufados a una potencia valvular suenan mucho mejor
Mooer should have made them as regular pedal (not as preamp).
It would be better if you had an option to choose a preamp or not...
The fuck you mean
