Just wondering how you will get the beer out as it seems like there is no floating dip tube? Or do you rotate the fermenter until the liquid post is under beer level? If this is a secondary it could work as no yeast cake on the bottom. 🤔
Hey good catch. I was in a rush preparing for the video and I forgot to put the dip tube in. I've learned my lesson since then. The floating dip tube works...if you install it lol
@@graintoglass Haha, yes things like this happen. Everytime I try out new equipment or processes, something goes wrong. It is really like a real craft where you learn from mistakes and improve constantly
But what about using a blow off tube instead of a spunding valve? As I would be using it to drop hops in, then have the blow off tube on while it dry hops for 3-5 days.
Hello, it's just a duotight gas ball lock disconnect. Or if you're talking about the disconnect on the hop bong itself it is a kegland ball lock carbonation cap. Cheers
Hello, unfortunately we do not ship outside of Canada. We tried in the past but had to many issues with lost parcels and customs. I believe morebeer sells the hop bong in the USA. Cheers
I was disappoined at first, because the 55l fermzilla with hop bong would not fit in my fridge. But your solution with removing the jar will do! Fuck yeah, my video of the year ❤ Have a cold one :)

you could turn it upside down and use it to get the yeast out before dry hopping

If you can't use a spunding valve a blow off should work. Cheers
