      Exactly right!!!! We have blight aspect that needs to be stacked 10 times and never procs unless minions have minions stay alive for a while.
      It’s only really procs 10 stacks on the boss.
      The only way I see it being useful is if they lower the stacks to like 5.
      And they nerfed it to like 50% it should be like 80% and 5 stacks so it procs more consistently

    What i don't like about the necro key passives is that outside of Ossified Essence none of them actually scale our damage up in a meaningful way. They all just feel like they are a small buff for the build and nothing more. Also like you mentioned in the video, i wish that there was more variety because it is very much just pick the color that matches your main skill. Im not sure what they could do to fix shadowblight, but it is definitely underwhelming as is.

    Thank you Macro. Really I cannot stress enough how much you helped me enjoy this broken game as a necromancer since season 2. Infinimist will always be my favorite build. Even though it fell off the tier list I was still using it. Now it’s dead (pun intended) and I don’t know if I’ll play season 5. So I’m here to say I appreciate all the hard work and best of luck to all of you.

      I'm doing infinimist for the first time this season and it's SO fun to play. I'm gutted they killed it. Hopefully they revert all the nerfs

      "Infinimist" (I dubbed it Shadow Mist/Specter) will always hold a special place in my heart since it was the build I came up with on my own in the betas/pre-season while everyone else was on Bonespear, before there were build guides or a meta - just creating my perfect build, merging my desired theme and gameplay and seeing if I could make it work.
      Also still the most fun I had in D4.

    The biggest issue I think Blizzard doesn't understand is that Necro and Sorc do not have enough aspect slots. Barbarians have 60% more offensive aspect slots to play around with. Because aspects almost always give multiplicative damage bonuses, it means that Necro aspects need to be ridiculously strong (2+x) in order to compete. Until they get that, Barbs will dominate every season.

      The answer is "Dev never played D4". They just work on paper and never tested it by themselves.
      They nerf Blight aspect then buff the damage of Blight as a compensate. What a joke! Blight is just one skill when Blight aspect works for every skill of necro. Do they think these two were the same thing?

      Yes they have to do something. Every time they add something for itemization, Sets,runes,jewels the classes with more slots will always benefits the most. Balancing the class specific Power only helps for the moment. Every time they add something for the itemization they have to Balance the class spezialization again and again. Dont think that is good for the longvitality of the game.

      Totally agree with this. This is such a terrible lack of understanding by the developers. We lack enough aspect slots in comparison to barbs and yet we still get our aspects nerfed and key passives nerfed as well. With such a really great season we got this time, it just seems like they did not learn and are making the same mistakes as season 1.

      They really need to just make it so the barb can only use aspects of the weapon currently used. These aspects on weapons that aren't even out are ridiculous

    Im not even opposed to the idea of like, just copy paste some version of Gushing Wounds+Hemorage+Beserk Ripping over for shadow necro, it'd be great to want to stack CC+CD and get rewarded for it. It'd be cool seeing Ebonpiercer blight get rewarded for big crits AND triggering a massive scaled dot from it. Heck, I want to see Blood spec get access to bleeds, it'd be sick if overpower got unnerfed and overpower could scale your bleeds. Blood is literally in the name, I'd love to see blood nova overpower the screen and get rewarded with watching the whole screen melt from bleed just like I get to on my Barb. We definitely need more key passive choices.

    I'm just getting sick of the way that Blizzard keeps limiting all these builds. D4 doesn't even have enough build variety as it is. Hopefully the expansion will help because a lot of people are losing interest in this game. I've been a huge supporter of D4 for the past year, but now I can't wait for Path of Exile 2 to come out. Also, I can't wait for Last Epoch to come to console, since I only have Xbox right now.

      If you want not an ARPG, but a timesink to grind your hours in, you should really try Warframe.
      It has decently deep combat mechanics. Much deeper then a D4 anyway.
      Hell of a build variety.
      When needed - hordes of enemies, and when needed - a low amount of impactful enemies.
      Multiple ways of farming almost every (actually useful) item in game. Stricktly targeted, mixed and non-targeted.
      Rich lore and quite surprisingly interesting story.
      It's free.
      VERY un(!)greedy monetisation. A lot of people say that it doesn't require a card swipe, but i honestly think that you'll have to do it at least once. You get a 75% discount quite frequently just for daily login, that helps alot.
      You can trade with the donated currency with other players! In game! In build-in trading system! No auction house though.
      Vanity (character visual changing) system that makes both D4 and PoE cry in a corner hugging each other. It is just next level.
      Character and clan housing that will blow you mind away. People are creating crazy stuff there.
      From munises it has... A very... Strange... Visual design that is not for everyone. Love/hate situation, i guess. I can't call it "bad", but i will definitely call it "strange".
      A p2p system. No dedicated servers, so sometimes it is laggy if host lives in Zimbabwe playing on a popato.

      The game has long been Barbarian IV and if you’re thinking it’ll be anything other than Vessel of the Barbarian you’re naive. They’ve shown patch after patch, season after season they only care about Barbarian and nothing else.

      @@Blvck0neBarbarian was asscheeks during season one. My highest NM dungeon push back then was the bugged bulwark Druid build. But, yeah from season two onwards it’s been Barb all day. The more character power becomes gear focused the worse this gap will get due to the fact that the Barb has more weapons than any other class making it a balance nightmare.

      @@Asdfqwerty12341I’ve been saying this in so many places and rarely see anyone else touch on it. They need to allowed for larger numbers for classes with less weapons since most weapon tempers are so powerful it limits 3 classes much worse then the other two. I don’t want to see barb lose the identity of being weapon masters and having a slight edge in that department and I don’t even call for barb nerfs I just want to see the other classes have as many relevant high end builds

    I just don't understand why is there shadow and darkness? Wtf is the difference. And if there is a difference why.. and why is it healthy that my rogue gets 2-3k bonus damage with a key passive and my necro gets garbage unless I ONLY play bone. Not to mention that rogues and barbs get free 2h aspects while a necro has to lose an aspect slot to have a 2h bonus

      I think it's because one is a damage type and the other is a type of skill. Things like reaper's pursuit might be darkness/ Shadow skills that don't do damage but are of the same skill family. That's my best guess anyway. I could be totally wrong

    meanwhile, bleed barb can build crit to boost both direct damage and damage over time. all those note just tell us that the balancing team just don't play the game, what they basically do is look at the data and see what is the most popular choice among nero players, then nerf it to the ground.

      Gushing Wounds looks very similar to Wither to me. Int scales all your damage, let's your DoTs crit and gives a DoT damage multiplier. Now I don't know if Gushing Wounds bugs and Wither bugs are similar, but GW does an unintentional 1.5x additional damage.

    They should combine wither and shadowblight and come up with a new paragon board. Come up with a way to auto-consume blood orbs like how blood lance does with its aspect equipped. Take away the aspects that cast a second ability on cast (like bone wall casts a pool of blight) and make the skills do it automatically or combine the two skills into one and make up some new skills. Give more status benefiting options for blood orb unlockable in the skill tree or paragon board. Make more, or better, skills that use corpses as a resource. Make shadow skills apply a unique debuff like how cold damage automatically applies chill. Make an ability like the barbs rupture to apply the built up shadow damage over time instantly. Give blood all blood skills inherent life steal and blood orb creation. Make blood skill related mechanics that trigger depending on your percentage of health, not just while at full life, but ones that trigger while healthy, injured, or in between. Make a summoning skill that tags an enemy and, on death, it is summoned to fight for you for [x] seconds. Make curse skills just better or make them passives. Keep bone skills about crit and essence. All shadow skills should be dot/aoe/debuff. Blood skills should be all about healing, tanking and buffing. Keep corpse skills about being abilities that use corpses instead of resource and give us more than two options. Kalan's edict should be a regular passive and make up a better key passive for minions. Add a debuff mechanic to shadowblight. Make rathma's vigor give different bonuses depending on you being healthy, injured, or in between. Or, they could just start from scratch with the necromancer and try again.

    I like where you were going with the idea of shadowblight changing into something that benefits more with the more debuffing you have going that would make things like bloodless scream because that will give us the additional chill effect also it could possibly make shared misery more worth while. I've really been rolling around bloodless scream trying to get to work well but I can only see to push it so far.

    To borrow from Path of Exile, I think the solution to Shadowblight is resistance penetration. If it applied a debuff on enemies to increase their susceptibility to Shadow Damage, it could be a meaningful way to build around it, and not take away from your specialization (ex: Sever needing to spec Damage Over Time).
    Barring that, another interesting concept would be to introduce a mechanic similar to the Barber heart. What I mean is Shadowblight takes a fixed chunk of HP from the target. For argument's sake, let's say 25% of remaining HP. Obviously this would be ridiculously overpowered against bosses, so in their case it would be 25% of remaining HP to the next health breakpoint. On an enemy like Kixxarth with 8 breakpoints, it is a negligible chunk of damage, but on something like the Butcher or Son of Malphas, that's a massive chunk.
    In general, I'm a bigger proponent of the second approach (make Shadowblight do damage), but both could be meaningful improvements over the current.

    @MacroBioBoi Besides the dev's fixing Shadowblight key passive, I'd like to see additional key passives added. Something similar to druid where there can be some hybrid playstyles. Currently each key passive is strictly for one type of build (besides shadowblight). Kalan's Edict for minion build, Ossified for bone builds, Rathma's Vigor for blood builds, etc. I'd just like to see a little more creativity for the key passives for this class. For example, I'm playing a sorc and I am able to use the shatter key passive or Esu's Ferocity or Vyr's Mastery on any build. I guess I'm saying I want flexibility like that but for the necro. What are your thoughts?

    I feel like it is a general problem with Necro design. Obviously Shadowblight was designed for blight not sever and there was never really an option designed for sever but I also feel like this same sort of problem is true elsewhere. Every class can pretty much build a character with the skill tree around a specific theme but Necro can't. There isn't a darkness defensive and there are practically no utility skills. Only 2 curses when almost everyone has at least 3 options for a given skill category and there is just a lack of uses for corpses. It makes every build feel very similar for Necro it has largely just been swapping out the core skill while everything else stays the same. You can kinda say this has been true for other classes as well but that is due to balancing, you still can play around with a lot of other skills or they might shine later with balancing, the skills don't exist for Necro to do that.

    Thank you so much for your support Macro, it means so much to me as a Necro player^^ I really hope the developers are listening, build diversity is so important. I think having the option to stack DoT effects through the Key Passive as you suggested is brilliant, it would open many interesting possibilities, particularly now that we have tempers. I don't mind nerfs when it is a give and take, and it fluctuates. However, we've got nothing. We've got ONE static crit build. We can't even turn Bone Spirit into anything else that can perform in all content. Plunging Darkness has been affected by this as well, it could have been an interesting approach for a more AoE take to Bone Spirit/Prison if they would have buffed this aspect to work well with Path of Trag’Oul & Void. So many iconic builds are turned to ashes. So many lost opportunities...This is not a nerf, it is literally ERASURE. And on top of all of this, our skills hardly ever stack and they have not addressed that yet. You are absolutely CORRECT when saying than giving us more aspects, is NOT going to make ANY difference, unless they GIVE US A PURSE SLOT where we can imprint it. Rogue has an extra weapon why the other classes can't get a utility bag or something? A bag of bones that we can use to slam monsters. And lets not even talk about Barbs. If I was their Narrative Designer I would sink Ked Bardu like the Atlantis, and branch out this class from the game. I will call it 'Season of the Flood' and then merch Barb IV as part of the Diablo Heritage Collection. In the new Diablo IV, the other classes would raise a statue, and maybe every new season we could go and relinquish in their memory to get paragon points or strength lol. They game will never be balanced otherwise. We need the same number of variables. It is very simple really.

    Agree with everything you said here. I hope the developers listen and address the lack of options across all classes. Season 4 brought me back and I am still having fun. I hope the Diablo team is willing to give all classes the chance to shine and stop holding them back. Barbarian shouldn’t be the only class living a crazy power fantasy.

    Honestly i want them to keep that Key Passive as a DoT oriented thing, they just need to make it actually good...
    I like that the Necro builds have a thing to strive for, as in Blood goin for Overpower, Bone going for Crits and Shadow going for Damage Over Time, its fitting, i wish we had more variety in the sense that things were good enough that you could mix them but when something is simply too strong that its basically on every build regardless of how unfitting its just sad... im looking at you Blood Mist, Decrepify and Bone Storm!

      I find these 3 damage types quite limited TBH. There are many interesting ways to apply DoT that other classes do, why we can't have for example something that fits our class narrative, instead of poison, bleed or cold, we could do radiation, necrosis, paralysis, like the options are endless and it can give us a buff in return. Imagine Bone Storm with Radiation DoT buff? How pretty it would look? Our skills look horrible, they have no bloom effects. The VFX artist that designed Blood Mist was probably on her period.

      @@kayaltamira i cannot disagree enough with the concept of your comment, Shadow or Darkness danage and the decay it causes upon foes is 100% more fotting than anything you listed, however, i do agree with the visual critique, hell, Shadow doesnt look bad but i just feel it shouldve been less black and white, the skill icons are purple, why cant we have some of that purple on the attacks aswell?
      Also, dont get me starterd on how ugly and unfitting the minions are...

    I would literally copy the Bleed key passive for the DoT shadow key passive. A chance equal to your crit chance to apply your DoT at 140% of your crit damage.

      @@flowqi212nope. Wither uses your intelligence to give you a chance for the ticks to crit. Gushing Wound makes bleed have a chance equal to crit chance to deal 140% of your crit damage, for the entire bleed. So it's not a 25% chance to deal 150% damage in a tick, it's a possibility 100% chance to deal x1000% or more damage on the ENTIRE DoT.

      @matheusmterra tbh I'd prefer they fix Gushing Wounds first, then reevaluate Wither. Maybe remove Wither from paragon and add an appropriate key passive. Not sure if it should be the same value though because the classes are not equal it the amount of DoTs they can proc.

      @@flowqi212 I will never advocate for bringing down another class' cool toys. Gushing Wound is what makes bleed builds strong on the barbarian, what I would ask is equivalent treatment.

      @matheusmterra it's not what makes them strong, it's what completely breaks the class. I'd say fix one broken thing instead of breaking everything else. I play a lot of Barb, and I hate that 90% of the class looks like a joke compared to bleed.

    Totally agree. I think Aspect of decay should be changed into multiply shadow damage (both dots and direct damages) to mitigate nerf from bligthed aspect.

    Thanks for the breakdown. I was doing planners for sever and reap builds and came to the passive tree ultimately thinking “I’m not using the Blighted aspect and don’t think this is going to do anything for the build…should I not use the point?” Add to that the damage is horrific as you’re pointing out and it seems like a dead “key” passive.

    11:45 like were good on aspects but it dont mean much if there isnt any room for them were actually just looking and switching out the best stuff since its quite literally a no brainer its not like we can get 2 more slots to mix things up nah when we actually get our stuff later in the season it starts to look like copy and paste since we get locked into the same slots and best stuff for the build

    I agree and ive been thinking about this for a while and i think the passive should act as a type of “vulnerable” that gradually increases, and in the paragon wither legendary node, each source of DoT should speed up its progression and “initiates reap” should apply its own unique DoT that strengthens the shadowblight passive and has some kind of scalability because initates reap is absolute garbage when compared to creating a corpse once per 4 seconds and reap is greatly lagging behind “decompose”
    If decompose can get a direct damage explosion I think reap should get a powerful DoT

    I tested tempering shadow damage over time and maximizing the shadowblight keypassive, with about 700 shadow damage over time I was able to get shadowblight procs up to a bit over 15m damage crits but like 2-5 crit procs per second using minions with shademist. Tried sacrificing minions to get more damage but you only get a proc every 1-3 seconds until you stack a bunch of dots and even when fully stacked you getting max 1 per second and it wasn't doing enough damage for the tradeoff from shademist. And at that point might as well just play a minion build or go with the goat bone spirit

    Strongly agree.
    See this is why and all the other stupid design in the Necro class, that I changed from main'ing Necro. I LOVE Necro builds. Blood builds. Especially Bloodlance. So yeah I had to change out of that. So then yes ShadowDark, I did did a Bone Spirit Bomber in S3 which was a nice idea but hard to get it good so again in S4 which yes performed well. But below other class builds yet was yes, reasonable for a Necro. Minons bored me to tears but worked. Finally that was what BROKE ME. I shouldn't have to say "Resonable for a Neco".
    The big problem Necro has is a core *design* _Identity_. In game Is it a ranged damage king? Is it a controller type layering CC and benefiting form doing so? Is it the king of mid-combat-range damage not too close and not too faraway? Is it about constructs, minions, pets, totems etc and king of that?. Whatevver it is it "should" use that design phillosophy to be good. Good like a Barb, like a Rogue, like a Druid.
    Really Necro is presently too unfocused and hence not really great at "the-King-thing" which really boils down to speed of kill and really speed of boss kills. And it has vvery little in the way of cogent design philosophy through line MECHANICALLY. Its got the thematic king of dead shit rpg theme down but mechanically no. If you look at the better classes they have a role and mechanical through line and variations off that too. Neco ... not os much.
    As an ARPG D4 isnt about "support options" who are you supporting if not yourself? Pit is a great example of this. Guild-mates group for Uber-runs and glyph leveling and not much else. Solo activity is the main mode. Necros are good up until the Boss then if your not the right sub-class your in for tedium as you spend as much time as it took you to clear the dungeon trying to kill the boss. (exaggeration, but you get the point right)?
    My Barb, Rogue, Druid even Sorc builds far outshine a Necro in most meaningful ways; other than "core-class-fantasy" in which the Necro rules - unfortunately that comes apart during play. The other classes -play- better. They have more to give and make the play experience more enjoyable not to mention more efficient.
    I love Neco. But since S3 I dont play one as a main. I dabble now after I get a Rogue buit or a Barb built. Thats my S4 Bone Bomber which I have put significant time into (its Doing pit 80s with good gear).
    I would like Necro to feel more on par with the other classes in output. Regardless all Necro skills *and* the aspects for said skills need analyzing. Then consideration given to rolling in some of the aspect "behaviors" into the base skills or the skill branch and this includes nearly everything.

    Yeah good video, most of the Necromancer key passives and in all honesty a substantial part of the entire toolkit is convoluted and allover the place.. This becomes even more apparent when you try out a Barbarian to play as an alt. Kalan's Edict is finally fixed but pretty underwhelming conceptually, Rathma's Vigor has these weird conditionals that require multiple things to even work, Serration is good and then there's Shadowblight. I do like not having a strong Blighted aspect, because I don't want Shadowblight's purpose being only that. I don't like minion builds relying on it, I don't like the feeling of doing no damage outside of Blighted or damage snapshotting off of Blighted, etc.
    Tbanks for pointing out the annoying reliance on Corpse Eater too. It's one of the reasons I don't want to play Necromancer anymore, it's such an annoying chore and you can't even properly monitor your stacks either. But there's these hard prerequisites you have to adhere to when you want to run a proper build and even then you get completely dusted by a button mashing Barb to bring that wonderful class back to the comparison. (I sadly must admit it was a blast to have played a Barb this season).
    I made a build completely around Shadowblight being the main source of damage on the PTR and it played pretty well, but it's so odd to have so much damage over time affixes and do so little damage over time. And even with the Shadowblight tooltip being slightly above x1000% the damage numbers were still just okay. I have a video of a Pit 100 clear if you're interested, it took like 5 min with some awkward empty map spots and getting stuck on the boss room door lol. I think the average damage of Shadowblight throughout the run was 15 mil? 20 if I'm optimistic and ignore the 'accidental' sub 10 mil crits from passing by? high crits were in the 30+ mil.

    my suggestion: X hits per proc each time it procs increase shadow damage dealt to target by X%, stacks X times, sever and reap cause triple or quadruple the stacks, could even make it proc in an aoe so it stacks faster with more density, and/or apply as a curse ( wither procs fully stack shadowblight? )

I dont say this figuratively, as a simile or a metaphor, I say this literally, they provide an environment which is constantly manipulated to encourage specific behaviors... Think of everything since day 1... think about shakogate... that was deliberate because players were dropping like flies and they needed an urgent pull into the game, so they made Uber Uniques drop like crazy and said it was a bug... and the player loss has not stopped since..
    The PTR was just another lever to manipulate more playtime, dont believe me? Hey come farm all your tempers , fight these damage sponges in the pit and enjoy your incredibly low drop rate on compasses to even try the new mechanic, all of those things were absolutely deliberate... If you dont realize this by now I dont think you'd even believe me if they came out and straight up told us directly that they are manipulating our time quite aggressively with dynamic systems, and PTRs... lol.. The PTR just so happened to be during the last weekend of the of the quarter for that final push huh? I'm sure that had nothing to do with it... or mayyybbeeeee, that PTR was just a lever pulled in this Operant Conditioning Chamber that goes by the name of Diablo IV under the guise of a game, and that was the ENTIRE reason for the PTR, absolutely nothing to do with testing... News flash, the game has been a PTR since launch... its alpha.

They are keeping the bigger reworks for the expansion, hoping S4 bought them some goodwill so players accept drip feeding content to artificially extend the life of this game. I have been annoyed since the release of D4 how planned most of this stuff is. We could've had a close to perfect experience at S2, but what would they then sell as an expansion? They would have to get creative and take risks, something shareholders don't prefer compared to a planned roadmap of steady, but minimal changes throughout its lifespan...

    About Great Feast, it's currently buged, and gives the multiplier even if you have 0 essence. So you don't need essence gen. for it to have a 100% up time on PTR.

    That last part is where I am at, this is a live game and it feels like we are just waiting on needed fixes for a long time. My interest in this season fell pretty far and I have no interest in season 5. That may be it for me for a while. I think maybe I will jsut mess around with a stupid build a little bit for the remains of this one then hang it up.

    anyone know if lucion interacts with corpse explosion? the tooltip says it increases YOUR damage, suggesting it would apply to any damage you deal. You'd have to use another skill to keep it stacked obviously.

    Agree! Gave us some "mobility" aspects. Guess what? No where to put them! Basically Necros gonna zoom around early game and be miserable and jealous of other classes in late game! Appreciate you voicing this, we need skill tree overhaul and 6 key passives like Sorcs and Druids.

    9:55 your calculation here is wrong tho. you cant just multiply it to figure out how much of your damage would be shadowblight. you have to redo the whole calculation. so (500.000x5.5)/(100.000.000+(500.000x5.5)).
    In this case it doesnt make much of a difference and is a good enugh approximation, cause the percantage of shadowblight is so small. But i thought it might be worth pointing out, in case someone does this in a different circumstance where it matters.
    For your use case it might have been better just to calculate how much shadowblight increases your damage instead of how much of your damage is shadowblight... 100% - 100.5 mil / 100 mil *100%= 5%. Then you could have just multiplied it. And its a round number :D

    Just give spellcasters slot for offhand... Rogue and barb have more items so more place for aspects hence they are doing better in the endgame and it will always stay like that unless they powercreep skills or aspects for caster classes. melee fighter classes just have more stats

    Shadowblight was only ran because of the aspect which wasn't even broken. Rogue, barb have consistently the best damage because of the sheer amount of offensive aspects availible to them. It makes sense for classes that can't get higher bonuses on their aspects that they can feasibly fit comparatively.
    Also please God iron maiden should be life steal VS the useless skill it is now

    Came back to Diablo for a break. I’m really enjoying the itemization and S4 is great tbh, I’m having a lot of fun. I don’t even play necro, I just like learning. But blizzards balance seems ‘special’ to say the least. I’m playing barb after maining Druid. I love both classes but the balancing issues are obvious after playing for 50 hours as a new player haha. Both characters are max level and playing solid builds. The power difference is obvious

    Blizzard should start paying you for all this free testing. This is beyond just testing.
    I wonder if there is actually someone on the very large diablo 4 dev team that has taken more advanced mathematics outside kindergarten algebra. Why do they keep messing up so hugely? How much more damage can the game take? (no multipliers needed there).
    Thanks for figurting all of this out.. I hope but I'm afraid D4 team is just not capable of fixing all these problems.
    Maybe it is just me but from watching all these videos, yours, wudijo's etc.. I feel zero motivation to even consider getting the DLC or playing S5+

    I don’t understand why Blizzard just destroys a build completely instead of just thinking what they need to do to elevate the lower builds. We have the pit, this is so much data on how good builds are and how far you can push them. Use that data to balance builds and classes and give us more playstyle options not less. They overcomplicate their real design to make things worse. RIP blight and my 129 pit clear?? Which is somehow… op?

    My rotation will be Druid next season. Hopefully by the time I get back to Necromancer ( season 10) they'll get their crap together. That's if the game is even still supported by then 😂.
    Their logic seems to be you will play x build this season. What if we don't want to play that given build?

    Give us a 1h 2h and offhand slot to open build varieties. I dislike how much we have to hyper focus a single skill to do damage. And if you dont its useless. Is it to much to ask that both my generator and cores skill does dmg. As it does when levelling and my minions too. Come endgame im limited to chose effectively 1 of these to do any damage. This goes for all classes

    Isn't the comparison between Sever and Shadowblight a bit too simplified. Correct me if I'm wrong, but DoTs stack and you can drown the whole screen in pools of darkness that trigger SB all over the place with increasing speed. Now damage that ramps up traditionally has a hard time in Diablo, so I guess its fair to say that the reward should be better.
    Besides that 100mio damage seems crazy good for Sever 😅. Not sure how this translate to AoE damage but its approx. equal to 15 Dust Devils or 25 Blizzard Ice Spikes 😅

Cuz for some reason I just cannot bring myself to play necromancer I tried it again this season and I created what I call the lazymancer, which is perfectly fine for doing open world content helltide farming shit like that I think I can do up to a pit tier 61 I think

    Mac You brought it up, but you didn't give the solution. All the classes need more aspects (minus barb and Rouge). Run barb with one two hand and see if they're OP..... they're not. Tldr fix the low hanging fruit and give classes more aspects, or just quit pretending to ballance.
