I converted last January and I have to admit that it bothered me. But I turned to prayer and specifically asked Heavenly Father if all was true. I got my answer when I felt the Holy Ghost surround me. It was a feeling that I hadn’t felt in a very long time. I’m convinced that we could do a whole lot better if we combined with our other brothers and sisters from other faiths by asking them to join us in doing and being more Christ like actions. The only way we will see our future is through being better Christians (yes I’m convinced we of the LDS faith are Christian) and coming together to support God’s works in these last days. While we all might not be missionaries in name, we are purveyors of Jesus Christ’s teachings and His great commandment is to spread His Word throughout our world. I’m glad that Heavenly Father found me again and lifted me above the noise of the world and back into his church-no matter the denomination. I’m convinced that if we all listened, he’d do the same for all of us, no matter if we were apart from Him for a while or a brand new Christian. All it takes is to listen for the still small voice. And it’s a lot easier than listening for a contentious spirit. The first beatitude is Blessed are the Peacemakers for they are called Children of God and that’s the greatest thing that anyone can be called. I say this in the name of Jesus and I believe that it is true! Amen!

10:05 if you have a hard time thinking about how matter has always existed before now, then consider the consequences of matter we at least think we understand scientifically now. Where does matter go when the thing it is made into gets destroyed?
Rust and moth doth corrupt the things of creation. If you look at the lifespan of things, take metals for instance. Let's look at copper. You have formed a copper pipe out of the available elements and now use it for drinking water. In time that pipe will turn green from corrosion. In time that corrosion will turn a once solid pipe into particles of green dust. Where does the dust go? Did the dust of that copper pipe cease to exist? Nope. It is still on this earth, either on the ground, in the water and filtered into your body or floating around in the air for some time.
You can do this exercise with all pieces of matter. From what we can hold in our hand to dark matter to particles of light that are eventually filtered out by the things they hit. (This is why stars seem to sparkle.)
So in this case study, where do all the pieces go? They continue on transforming into something else. If all matter is continually changing, then how can you expect matter to just disappear some day? If creation was exnihilo, then matter has to eventually end.
But, it doesn't. How do we know this? We look back in time in the cosmos and see history of trillions of light years past and we can observe what happened then, because of the amazing results of wavelengths of all sorts.
What happens to a star when it dies? It becomes a nebula. What happens to a nebula in a great amount of time? More often then not it turns into a new star. And each color of stars represents a different stage of their life cycles.
If matter always changes, when does it end?
If it never ends, it that the definition of eternal?❤

Our Primary kids had an activity and met with the Temple President of our temple. One of the kids asked, 'What is God made of?' That is really a profound question if you think about it. You can't have a God that is 'made of nothing', so there must be some kind of material for God to be made of that exists at least from the moment God starts to exist. And since we all agree that God has always existed, the 'stuff' God is made of must have always existed as well.

Well done gentleman. And I do mean gentleman. I agree, there is so much evil out there let’s stand together and stop bickering about who is right, and who worships the correct God, and who loves the real Jesus. We really could do so much good. In fact we have! You should interview this couple from our ward who went on a service mission to Cypress. They were constantly working with other faiths that had already established a program for the needs of their communities. We simply helped them. So much good was accomplished by working with other faiths. Also, the Show Low AZ Stake has an annual fast at Thanksgiving time that involves several other churches in the community. The community is encouraged to fast anytime they would like during the designated
week and donate the money to help the less fortunate in the community around Christmas. Thousands of dollars has been raised. The pastors and leaders of all of these churches get together and decide how the funds are spent. The best part of the week is when everyone meets together for a program where each church has members perform a musical number or two. At the end a combined choir from all the churches perform a number. We hear stories of how people were helped the previous year. It’s always fantastic!

That’s the beauty of it. Its just an annual community fast and on a Sunday everyone gets together to enjoy some beautiful music and listening to how we were able to help the community. No one cares about the difference in doctrine. We all care about the commandments to love thy neighbor. One year they had different schools refer families. They were able to help sooooo many people.🥰

It is obvious to discern the intellectual honesty when these ad-hominem comments and lack of information to support their grievances exist. It really seems to come down to if our communications are bearing fruit meet for repentance or not? I try to use this formula and it is hard I admit. Nevertheless, like a testimony SHOULD be, tell me why you believe what you do. I lived in the same house and have already been drawn into 4 different wards and three different meetinghouses including my Stake Center!! That’s also the Ward that Pastor Jeff visited months ago but sadly I was on vacation that Sunday so I wasn’t able to meet him!! And in this video, please explain and show examples of why they are drawn the way they are and why people go where they live and now always what building is the closest. Sometimes people request to attend different wards that they don’t live in the boundary line of that unit but I’ve always been told that it going against where the Lord needs us if someone is attending the unit that they don’t live in. As for the second comment about God being a weak being, in reference to Ex Nihilo.. Its interesting how the acedemic consensus on this gets so ignored, and how Dogma is put over the data, then to bend the Data to fit teh Dogma, then to proclaim that their individual interpretation of their bend Data actually confirmes their Dogma... But apart from that, the God of the LDS at least keeps up to what it states in Timothy, where it says that "God wants EVERYONE to be saved and understand the truth".. Now, if only few select make it into heaven, then either God does not have the dires to offer salvation to everyone equaly, or he is not capable to do so, and both, to me, prove that this God is not quite as strong as a being as the one portrayed within LDS ..... I struuggle with the idea of a God that can and is concerned about keeping his word inerrant and unviocal for thousand of years, but can not apply the same kind ot attitude and power towards his own´, living creations..

And if He is not all powerful ACCORDING TO THEIR OWN CLAIM, Then he is NOT God. So critics saying we cannot become like God is just hypocrisy. That means God is bound to not being able to do that which makes him not God. They have no clue what they are talking about half the time. Same how critics say that the Book of Mormon and Bible contradict each other. But then also say the Book of Mormon copies from the bible. How can it contradict but be copied. I compare the Early Christian belief with the Nicene Christians. I found out they have different beliefs.

@@SaintsUnscripted Just wanted you guys to know I grew up in the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints. I baptized when I was 8 years old. I am very sorry for comparing Early Christian teaching. But even though I compared it to the church I grew up it really has the early Christian teaching. Your channel help me to come out the confusion of the book that I read. Thanks for your help.

It’s important to say that it’s not just non-LDS who post hateful, anger-charged comments on the internet. I understand you are trying to defend yourselves, but I have tried to have respectful conversations with LDS online and have been met with several hateful, disrespectful, unGodly members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Some have caused me to cry. One went so far as to say he felt sorry for my husband to be married to such an ugly wench.

It's funny to me how many arguments literally don't even matter in the grand scheme of things. Like, for example, the creation argument. The creation happened, and whether it happened from nothing or from preexisting material, does it even matter? We're here now either way and God is God either way, and Christ is our Savior either way. Haha

This is a question for the commentor who scolded us for having bad philosophy and those who agree with him. Where in The Bible does it say we must have good philosophy according to the philosophy and wisdom of men? It doesn't so I don't care about being deemed good by the wisdom of man. If you do, it looks like you are placing man before God.

🎉 if you have a hard time thinking about how matter has always existed before now, then consider the consequences of matter we at least think we understand scientifically now.

Wait. Our ideas can't be right because they don't agree with someone else's?
Nothing in the Bible points to God creating Himself. People just speculate outside of it and make assumptions.
Philosophy: what must is be first anything
Science: matter is neither created nor destroyed, only changed.
Uh-oh. Sounds like SOME people are anti-science.
For God to create all reality, God must first exist outside of reality, in a DIFFERENT one. But isn't that still reality? Just a new dimension of where?

    Genesis 1:3
And God said, "let there be light" and there was light. And the prior verse Genesis 1:2 it says that the Earth was formless and darkness covered the Earth. Light is not matter it is immaterial. So in the first three verses it tells us that God created something out of nothing. It says that he spoke it into existence. The only thing that God created from something else was man, from which he created from the dust of the ground which DA DA DAAA He created. The beliefs that the LDS hold are chock-full of logical fallacies. The LDS faith is a man-centered faith not a Jesus censored faith. Joseph Smith is their golden calf.
