You know there's nothing to be ashamed about in simply saying you downsized due to financial issues. You don't need to explain everything like that. For some people, this mobile home would be something they can only dream of.
Watching how your daughter carved a little nich for herself brought back memories of when I had to downsize to a studio apartment temporarily to save for a house. My 10 year old son wanted his own space, so I converted the large walk in closet into his room and he loved it. Sweet what you've done with Galeao ❤️

Yes, that saved me a lot of work when I moved. Instead of packing an item, that I’d have to deal with later in my new house, I’d either sell it or donate it. Moving is a great time to declutter if you have the time!
I found that I needed to keep things simple BECAUSE I had so many kids. My 5 year old can whip up a mess in no time so I have to keep her inventory down 😂 It really does make everything easier to organize and keep clean when there’s less stuff to worry about.
This made me so happy! I always see these beautiful big homes with small families. And here I am trying to make our small 2 bedroom apartment work , with also a family of 6. I dont know how much 1100 square feet is though, we have a 90 square meter home… so it takes a lot of hardship to make something nice out of it 😅
I looked it up and 1100 sq ft is about 100 sq meters, so this mobile home would be slightly larger than your home for reference. I hope I was able to give you some ideas for your home.

We were looking to buy a house this year but we’ll keep working and looking on it. The house we picked was older smaller like this but 4 rooms lol. Love cozyness of being close. We have about 1200 sq ft with our entry add on. And a good big backyard.
Having a smaller home really does make it cozy. I only wished this place had one more bedroom for us. But we made it work for our time here. That’s great that you have all that outdoor space! 💙
Love how you’ve got your tea and drawers organized! The colors of those eggs are so pretty!!😍We used to have Americana chickens and they laid greenish-blue eggs!
It took two generations to get those green eggs, lol. We got some Easter Egger chicks a few years ago, and only one ended up being a hen, and she laid beige eggs! But… she had a daughter who laid green eggs, and we finally get to enjoy them 😂
I think I ended up selling it for them, lol. They put it back on the market and even though I knew that making it look great might mean we would have to leave if it sold, I couldn’t help myself, and it sold on the first showing! It ended up working out because Jeff got a job right after that and we were able to get approved for a mortgage.

Love your house, clean and organized. Too much stuff makes me anxiety. I m in a French island right now, tiny apartment. Still can fit me and my husband. We have a big house in St Lucia...now I find it too much. Your kitchen is huge compared to mine. 🤣
When my home is cleaned and organized like this, it helps so much with my anxiety! Now that we’ve moved to a new home, I’m trying my best to get it back to this state. But more things came out of storage, and we’re doing a few renos, and just trying to make it all work in the new space can be challenging. But I’m determined to get there again because I know how good it feels to have a minimal home!

I know this is an old video but I really love those shelves in your laundry room, that’s a great idea! I live in mobile home except mines 2,000 sq feet and we only have 2 kids. But it was nice to see how someone else utilizes the space. The no drawers in the bathroom has always been a struggle for me. Haha thanks for the organization tips! Something you could do instead of the awkward coat closet doors that don’t open all the way is curtains! You could find some that are really beautiful. 😁
That would be a great option. We were just renting this home, so it wouldn’t have worked for while we lived there, but that’s a great idea for someone who has similar closet doors.

The eggs I have all taste the same, but because they’re fresh farm eggs, they taste and look different from store bought eggs. The yolks are much brighter and they have more nutrition.

No it wasn’t big enough for that. I honestly didn’t mind the size of this home other than we really needed one more bedroom. But in any case, we live in the lake house now, and my daughter has a beautiful room all to herself.

Yes, it’s easier when the kids are little, they don’t usually mind sharing their rooms. In fact, my littlest just lived in our room at the beginning. But it’s hard with teens, they like their own space. I hope I was able to give you some ideas for your smaller place. One thing I really liked about living here was that no one ever seemed very far away, it was always cozy.

Minimalism is so individual to each person, you can be a minimalist to any degree and just do what works for you. That’s awesome that you like getting rid of the clutter, I find that less stuff equals a much more peaceful home, great job 💙
She slept on the top bunk, and the two younger girls slept on the bottom bunk. However she often hung out in the walk-in closet that she made into her own space. We’ve since moved out of this home, it was a temporary rental. My oldest daughter now has her own room, and she’s very happy about it 😁
