- Short version : There are too many great bikes for sale these days!
I enjoyed the MT07, MT09 and probably would have been satisfied with the MT10 too.
But once I tried the Suzuki GSX-S750, there was no going back. Great ergonomics and so easy to ride.
I didn't try the Kawasaki Z1000 until after I got the GSX-S1000 but fortunately I still preferred the Suzuki!
I've had the bike for well over 2 years now and still loving it!
I like the front end of this better than the newer ones with the smaller headlights… cleaner lines on this one. Just my opinion

Hi bought the new gsx 8s in November recently had a gsx s1000 as a courtesy bike 🎉 not as terrifying as I expected in my head being the first 1000 I've ever rode. Was surprised how easy going to ride it was.
Have you tried the z900? I'm currently debating what I'd like to upgrade to as my next bike. Been debating mainly between the GSXS1000, Z900, MT09 and somewhat the GSXS750. Leaning mostly toward the GSXS1000 due to preferring its styling over the Z900, and Id like to get another Suzuki. My current one has been flawless
I have ridden a Z900RS. The GSX-S1000 is in another league when it comes to raw power.
Depends what you're looking for really.
The MT09 motor has great character from the triple, but side by side the gsxs1000 has a lot more get up and go.
I'm now selling mine. Time for something new.

it's more comparable to the z900, but the gsxs is faster.
i've had ALOT of nakeds, including all fz07/09/10, early model Cb1000r, z900, s1000r....
S1k was the fastest and most features, but also most expensive and i was always worried about "what if" so i put nearly 10k miles on it and sold it.
MT10's sound the best of all, no contest, and cruise control is nice and had the best low down power/wheelie capability, Fz07 was the lightest peppiest, mt09 was truly right between the two with alot of character but i liked it the LEAST of all the mt's
Z900 sat the lowest (felt like it anyways) but had no stand out features to me.
As far as the GSXS goes, i had the F model (with the fairings) and i swear it feels by far of all the best handling, even over the s1k (with dynamic suspension, although none of these shift like the s1k)
The GSXS had the highest top end of all the bikes other than the s1k, which both have taken me to right around 170 whereas the rest were sub 155 so there is that.
I also want to say, i got the GSXS the cheapest of ALL the bikes. All were bought used, but i got the GSXS for $5500, from an old man who bought it new and only put 2600 miles on it. What a fucking steal, I think my best advice would be to go try them all out, because everyone likes something different. Also keep in mind, none of these will be setup for your weight off the get go, so there will be room for improvement with ALL of them
i don't mention the CB1000R, mine was a 2015 because it truly felt the worst of them all. Even tho its faster than an FZ07, it felt worse quality. Single sided swingarm always worried me as well.

I just bought my blue 2024 GSXS 1000 couple weeks ago and It is a blast to ride. don't take my word for it, do a test ride and you'll see what i mean. more than enough power for the streets for sure and I haven't had it above 6k yet lol.
I like your mirrors, where did you get them?
These ones are Ducati Diavel Performance Billet CNC mirrors. Adapters are required to fit on the Suzuki as Ducati are M8 and Suzuki are M10 👍

The bike is bulletproof all round. Only weak spot in the thin paint on the wheels 👍
