Hey guys, thank you so much for watching the video and I hope you enjoyed my journey rediscovering Notion again! If you're in the same boat, I hope this video can help you out and if you need any advice, let me know in the comments down below and I'll try my best to help you out! Also, a huge shoutout to Notion for their patience and sponsoring this project and if you want to give Notion a shot, make sure to use my link to get started for free: 🍎 Get Notion for free and try Notion AI → ntn.so/GadgetSu1! Love you all! 💜
For anyone who is using notion or has just started, I will be starting to release tutorial videos on notion from zero to hero from the very basic things all the way from being able to create an OS that gives you a summary daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly yearly on the key areas of your life that you want to track and how to move forward
My experience with Notion was interesting. When I was at school and trying to keep photography and Uber side-hustles organized and tracked, it was invaluable. All my course notes ended up in it (latex blocks were awesome for engineering), project planning, client/shoot tracking, Uber mileage and expenses, etc. And, since it was using it for all that stuff, I used it for personal stuff as well - journaling, movie lists, and so on. Then I graduated, got a job, ditched the side-hustles, and realized it ended up being kind of overkill. So, I just went back to simple, reliable Apple Notes. It's nice to hear the Notion mobile app has improved, though. That was a pretty big source of friction for me... that might be what nudges me to pick it up again, especially since I'm spending more time on my personal gaming PC in Windows than my MacBook Pro outside of work these days.
I also used Notion for a while during college but I also abandoned it for a while due to the overwhelming feeling that I had to keep it up. Now I'm inspired to return back to it to create a new dashboard that works for me! 😎😎
You should! I've gotten mine to the points where it gives me an analysis for my day past week, month to quarter a year across different areas of my life such as finances, fitness and content creation. But it's very useful in order to figure out what I need to focus on
@@Gadgetsu so I want to buy a an m1 MacBook for content creation which one do you think I should get and what storage configuration do you think is best I use it mostly for editing
@ if you’re gonna be editing anything 4k from a camera, it’s honestly going to be a very bad time because the M1 especially without a fan in the air model isn’t powerful enough in my opinion! Better than any Windows laptops but I would recommend spending a little bit more for the M-series pro laptops for the extra performance and fans because I have suffered quite badly the past few years with my MacBook! I would recommend a minimum of 32gb of ram as well since you will find yourself always maxed out at 16gb, and prone to crashing or render errors! As for storage capacity, it depends if you want to use an external SSD or not! But ya, the cheapest I would go is an M1 Pro MacBook Pro 32GB 1TB with an External SSD! Obviously the higher spec and newer models are better but check Apples certified refurnished on the bottom of the website for better deals! Hope this helps! 😁
