I've been into software development way back 2011 but stop around 2019 because I've focused on personal matter, now I'm being called on by my former boss to build web app, I think I lost my skills being idle for a very long time and not confident enough if I can still do it like before. I hope I can regain my lost touch skills back again.
Thank you for sharing! It’s natural to feel unsure after a break, but your experience from 2011-2019 has built a solid foundation. Start small, revisit the basics, and explore new tools. The fact that your former boss reached out shows they believe in you-you’ve got this! 😊
I agree, that is true. But it is always up to you to make your job funnier and healthier. We need to make our lives happier by organising the day if the job can allow us to do it. Thanks to this era, self-managing time is possible. Please try to make your day as fun as possible. All the best!
among other things, because of such films. people think it's a dream job... coffee on the town and so on. no one talks about the fact that many companies require a return to the offices. it will be interesting to see if such films will be made then, too
Ich stimme zu, aber mit der aktuellen Situation mit KI können Sie mehr Erfahrung sammeln und produktiver sein, sodass Ihre Karriere schneller voranschreitet
I agree with you that some companies require a return to the office. It can be a nice catch to record such videos in a different environment, have a social life with colleagues, and discuss parts of engineering in person.
Q.1. On which tech stack do you work, Q.2. And I also have heard that if today I work in MERN Stack, and tomorrow (3 - 4 years later) it got obsolete. I learn another stack then my experience wouldn't be counted. Pls answer to my questions. Love from India.
Hello, and thank you for your questions. 1. I am working currently with MERN Stack and occasionally with Python and exploring the ML area. 2. If you learn the fundamentals and how the process is to combine everything you will be great in the future if you need to change your tech stack. So learn and move forward. All the best!
Hello @badnotgood, I am so happy you want to start learning coding. It depends on you how much time you would like to spend. If you ask me I would go but you must follow the right steps and focus only on one thing and gain knowledge. All the best!

Yeah, I did for the video to generate the script. I am not able to show the real code project experience of how I am using the AI with Cursor. I will record some video of how I am using it with my side project and you will get a real picture of that. Thanks!

Cool video. But, as someone that has been in the IT market for almost 10 years this is one of the worst times I have ever seen. Almost no more jobs, and tens of thousands (if not hundreds of thousands) of very qualified people fired from big companies. So its carnage out there. Good luck!
Thank you so much for the comment. I agree with you, but also it is the best time to start creating digital products with which every person can solve real problems. With AI era every start will be much much easier and faster to finish. Good luck to you and see you in the next video 👍🏼🙏🏼
