The other videos were from a festival that’s why there was talking, I saw them a few weeks ago in the US and no talking.. a TOOL show is different then A festival where not everyone is there to see tool
I was there after waiting for 12 years to see them, as I imagine was most of the crowd. Incredible sense of sharing a magical moment among the audience, something too enjoyable to ruin by talking.. or making any kind of noise during songs for that matter :)
@Kristian Moore they do have a lot of long songs. Although personally I can also see them do 2 or all of the following songs: sober, stinkfist, schism.
I saw them live this year and I can truly say that it is nothing you ever witness somewhere else. Unfortunately the magic doesn‘t come through at all on video. Honestly, you are in constant awe of how „clean“ and „precise“ everything sounds. I would go see them even if you had to take a plane.
I saw them in Amsterdam 2019 and yes, you have to get to one of their concert. Let's hope covid ends. I came all the way from Romania and it was worth it. Just get ready to buy tickets as soon as they appear and what else, you need plane tickets so the whole thing is going to cost you like 400-500 euro tops.
Thank you SO MUCH for recording and uploading this! I was there and couldn't handle being at an effing Tool concert, I cried through the whole song straight. Tausend Dank für's uploaden : D!
I like how most of the band especially danny carry tries to play as studio accurate as possible..bands that play live all the time can take liberties with their playing, but bands like tool who play live shows very seldom probaly try to play note for note cuz that's what most of the crowd expect from them. I appreciate that. If I wanna hear a bunch of improvisation I'd watch slipknot or dream theatre w/ portnoy.
To be fair, though, Danny does add in a really cool extension in the breakdown/bridge of this song in this vid. Not a long bit, but still awesome as fuck.
4:57 Maynard drinks! :-) Thanks dude for your vids! Amazing job. Wondering how you get the cam in. My binoculars was taken away by security at the entrance.
*can't go wrong with a sip of some fiji water between vocal parts. no need for binoculars- just get close to the stage and you'll have a far better experience than any binoculars could give you at a show. getting the equipment (notice I did not write cam) into the venue is one of the easiest parts of this undertaking ;) thanks for the kind words. glad you dig the vids!*

Danny Octopus Arms Carey over 55 and is still killing those drums effortlessly. Long live Tool ✌❤

Dude, you've created the best live videos yet of Tool 2019. Love those German audiences, quiet and respectful yet enthusiastic. Thank you.
*tried my best*
I Have to agree. Its's so nice to hear to music instead of the some rude a-hole talking over the music.

Half of super bowl would literally die
Holy shitballs Danny punished those drums from 3:40. What a boss
Thank you @FotherMucker00 , I don't think i'll be able to ever see them live but this will be the closest I'll ever get to witness their performance.
