There’s two options of glass windshield one that has the twist on clips and the one like yours, I’m just wondering wich one is more recommendable? Especially if I use my side by side to go mudding often
I don't know what the twist on clips model is? Mine is good for mud, meaning it cleans easily. It's sturdy when closed but rattles when riding with it full open.
I'll say that I think glass windshield is the way to go. However, the hinges on the Polaris one suck. But maybe they have redesigned it since I bought mine. I know tye did redesign the latch handle for instance.
i bought the same windshield 1400$. mine cracked on the bottom corner under the glass from welding slag left by the manufacture. my dealer was able to send me a new one for free. If i hadn't received a new one I would say for the price it isn't worth it. But I essentially have 2 for the price of one. I will replace my windshield once the original gets soo crappy I am forced too.
Beware if that glass says Taylor made, check your urethane seal holding in the glass.i have one in my shop with half off the windshield not sealed, it's a factory seal failure,be warned
Ours rattles like heck in the open position, it is crazy loud and I hate it, the cracked open is just about worthless as you state. I am disappointed in the expensive purchase
@@worldsokayesthunter check the urethane seal bonding it to the frame,if the glass is made by Taylor it's a factory failure,it will eventually let go completely

I am torn between getting the way over priced Polaris windshield or the cheaper flip up windshield made by super atv

Did you find a brkt to open up a little farther? I'm installing this windshield this week
Haven't found yet.
Where can I buy This windshield???
Direct from Polaris. I'll say, it's good glass, but the thing now rattles when riding with it open and that annoys me. Needs a different hinge design.

Where did you get it?
From the Polaris dealer. It's the Polaris OEM windshield

2 months of owning it and mine has started to rattle too, in the open position. I'm gonna see if I can figure out a legit fix.
@@worldsokayesthunter let me know if you find something out, i may call polaris this week. the trouble for me is how far i am from a dealership
Check the seal of the windshield, factory urethane bond fails. You windshield is probably loose in the frame.
