Sweet video, mate. Does every M4 street slayer can fit a db-killer? I am in love with their full titanium system for GSX-R 1000 '12 but I am concerned that it might be too loud in certain situations.
EVER TOM yes, I believe so. There should be a screw hole at the edge of the canister pipe to mount the baffle. If so then I’d say yes. But I would contact m4 to make sure before the purchase
You know dude still sound pretty good with the dB killer in but with it out it’s an animal. I’m putting a street slayer on my 2019 ZX6r this week end. Did you tune your R6 after you installed it?
Dad with Kids I have a power Commander 3 with the m4 map from Dyno jet, I normally have have the baffle in on days I go to work, but it's out majority of the time 🤙
I know its been a few years but did you need earplugs😂 i had a full exhaust on an mt-03 and it sounded meaty but had to wear earplugs until i got the db killer, i feel like this has to be louder than that, i upgraded to a 2014 r6 and i want an exhaust but the slips arent worth it in my opinion
Yeah I was wondering the same thing. I picked up a 2016 Yamaha r6 and it has stock exhaust. I don’t want to get the m4 slip on when the street slayer is like $200 more and sounds way better but I’m worried it might be to loud?? I have no idea lol 😂. But I guess if I get it I’ll just order the db reducer with it
How close to a regular straight pipe would you say the exhaust is with no DB killer? Obviously it’s a straight through exhaust but I’m going from a true straight pipe to this exhaust. Just curious.
Id say the sound is very different, but still very loud which is why I brought the baffle. The M4 canister makes a deep grunt sound vs a straight pipe which has higher pitch sound in my opinion
Orwinej appreciate it! I didn’t mean to ask a dumb question or anything lol I think going from straight pipe to the baffled M4 should be quiet enough lol I’ve done gotten use to straight pipe.
@@TheMeek1000 Would you know the DB reading with and without the killer? The law here is 92 at idle and 100 at 5k. Just wondering if it would pass that test
So ready to put this on my bike just bought an 07 with no miles on it and I bought the m4 street slayer with the mid pipe delete. It sounds so good

Do you still have this M4 system? Is the DB Killer completly hollow?
Neighbors must love you for that lol
I did it really quick for that very reason lol

@@phillipalexander5305 No problem, I appreciate the comment, M4 is a good choice for the r6, good luck on your build

jay to the ray sorry, i don’t have decibel meter.ill keep that in mind for future content, thanks for asking
Sound like it just changes the pitch and gives it a higher pitch with the DB reducer in.
The reducer takes away the resonance thats why it sounds a little higher in pitch
Is this full exhaust or just a slip on??
Stock headers with cat delete midpipe
Sportbike Everything I put a full exhaust on mine and it was tooooo loud I didn’t like it , took it off and put the stock exhaust with slip on
That could work too. I enjoy the sound, but I also ride with ear plugs. The baffle makes a difference
Sportbike Everything what midpipe you got on it because I have the same setup on my 06 r6 but with a mjs y link midpipe
I have the midpipe from M4, mjs is cool too
