I've been watching you guys for about 4 years and I've gotten to the point where your content is my safe space, in the background, or when I need to come back down to earth from my anxiety. You're always my go-to for when I want to learn something new. Keep being awesome, putting out good stuff, and I hope Kayleena gets better soon.
Congratulations on 15 years I've been a hobby leatherworker for almost 10 years and due to health issues I've had a lot of free time this year watching your videos has really helped me up my game. Keep up the good work 👍
You made me break my “buy absolutely nothing on Black Friday” vow, I was so touched by the video and wanted a piece of this history. Thank you for all the years of learning and, recently, laughing, you freely give.
First congratulations on 15 years. Second that's a sick bunch of shells. I want to thank you because 2 and a half years ago I set out on this trip into the leather world. You were the one I learned the most from. It isn't fruitful fur me yet but fingers crossed the moves I make will change all that next year. Also fantastic new place you have!
Sooo happy to grab a trio of these inspirational pieces. I adore the way you two work together, what you produce in the workshop and your movies here on YT. You are a constant for me in my leathercraft development. Thank you both so very much.
Congratulations! In only 6 hours you’re almost sold out! Absolutely appropriate. Just beginning my leather work thanks in large part to your videos. I hope you both are well / getting better with no serous COVID symptoms. You’ve made 15 years due to the quality of your work and the quality of your content. Here’s to 15 more.
I just stumbled upon your channel the other day to learn more about Rocado.. I'd like to get some leather goods from you.. love that you get all those marble variations.. like 'Summer camp' @ 5:00 .. beautiful stuff for sure.. You do belts I imagine..? I'd like some kind of marble Rocado belt.. and could definitely use some kilties too
Congrats on 15 years sir! After watching you for around a year, I decided I wanted to try leathercraft. I’ve become addicted to it. It’s therapeutic for me when I can’t go do photography or cinematography for my friends short film channel. Sold my first two commissions this week, and just ordered more Leather. Keep up the good work, and thank you. Hope Kayleena gets better soon! She adds so much to the channel.
I'm absolutely so amazed that each and every leather is one of kind. I would love to see a messenger bag made from this leather with french stitch and copper rivets.
Thank you for sharing your journey, and your hard-won knowledge & experience. I am the Eutrophicated1; because my younger daughter says I am older than dirt. The term describes the natural process of aging in fresh water lakes. It usually takes 10-20 k-years to occur. Not quite that old, yet. Hope the arthritis in your hands isn't too bad yet. I look forward to many more years of viewing your projects & videos, as well as making my own.
"Now that shell has been, y'know, unlocked from one tannery making it..." WOW! What a *massive* slam against Horweeen, man. I've seen a few comparison videos between Rocado, Shinki, and Horween. There's a reason why one of those brands is "the brand" and has been for over a hundred years. Still, though, great effort in what you produced... very impressive and a cool backstory!
Agh, not fun! Hope you're feeling better, I managed to avoid it but K's been having a very not fun time. Thank you so much for grabbing some works! It'll go right back into videos and fun stuff :)
Nice Job, I am an old leather crafter retired, but I am picking up one for myself! Those look awesome! Thanks for continuing the leather crafting world. Yes definitely do a video and show your workshop, would love to see your setup!
I just stumbled on your chanel a day or 2 ago and was so impressed with your generosity in sharing your skills with those who are learning. As a fellow maker and small business owner, congratulations on the success you've built in doing what you love. I'm only sad that I saw this too late to get one of these beautiful pieces. Here's to at least 15 more years of success and I hope Kayleena has healed up and is back in the shop with you
Beautiful shells and definitely smartly handmade products you made with them. Darn, 5 days since the video aired and everyone of them are sold out. Happy 15 years!
Your clickbait thumbnail worked for me! 😂 That shell is absolutely gorgeous and what an amazing product to share at cost. You could probably make some awesome simple keychains with those scraps. Hope Kayleena feels better fast and you are spared the virus. I'd love to see a video on your off grid workshop specifics because yes, I am a nerd.
@Corter Leather This is one of the coolest things I've seen in a while. My Dad had a leather kit he used for making western belts, but to memory I don't think he ever had presses, just the dies to which I believe he used a rubber mallet to set and/or cut what he needed. He had the dies of the whole alphabet in Capital letters and a hole punch. I still have the letters and hole that he used!!! I was hoping you would show the sewing/stitching process, and he would come also!!!!
@Corter Leather totally wasn't expecting the look. The way you talk and present yourself, I was thinking... more of a politician look lol. You know, clean shave, neatly trimmed and kept (short) hair, button front dress shirt and slacks.
You helped me discover this hobby. I don't always make the time to craft things, but when I do it is great, so thanks! I'm definitely picking up one of the card sleeves, they look beautiful. Congrats on 15 years

Congratulations on your 15 years. Now I know to be quicker on the draw for limited drops such as these. Any chance you'll be dropping a few more?lol🤣
@@MrOldclunker Actually, horween leather is a biproduct of the meat industry from Belgium and Quebec. The hide would otherwise be thrown away. All the hides are tanned in Chicago.
