    I was just watching the no-stitch no-glue japanese inspired bag earlier this morning. And now a new vid again from one of my favorite leather goods making channel and leather maker on UA-cam (just in general really)

    Looks amazing!! Why would you stitch the top pocket then fold it to do the inside one? any benefit to this way?

    • @Opensealeather
      @Opensealeather  5 місяців тому +1

      Not sure I understand what you mean by top pocket. But the reason why you have to fold the wallet is because the outermost piece of leather has to be longer than the interior piece. Otherwise, the inside wouldn’t fit right when the wallet is closed.

      @Opensealeather the card pockets, you did the tan (outer) one then the green (inner) one. I've always done it done the opposite way.

    Honestly that’s a piece of art, idk if I could bring myself to carry it and risk the daily wear and tear ruining it

    Hey man! Great craft like always! Btw any tip on starting out? Such as website tips or anything?

      Check out a lot of the tips and tricks videos here on UA-cam. Grab some tools from Tandy or weaver just starting out. Then upgrade to higher end stuff like at Rocky Mountain leather

      @@Opensealeather thank you man! I think I misworded my question too haha. I meant that I’ve been working on my craft and was wondering how you learned to set up your website and your UA-cam and all?

    could you make a video on the absolute necessary tools for beginners ?
    like with the Amazon review video ?
    if you have any idea on where to buy those in Europe as well that would be great !

    Gorgeous.
    I'm an amateur leathersmith. I'd be terrified to work with shell.

    If this is the one you sold on the website, I own it!
