I like Quinn a lot. He just keeps on putting the work in and seemingly loving to do so. He is the young cat, but he has been heavy lifting for a while now!
Damn 8 hours for that bracket??yall may not realize it but that kind work ethic you guys show on your episodes is contagious, got a lot of young men looking up to you guys. Keep it up fellas, God bless.
Just got news that my grandma fell and broke her hip (beginning of the end, is a nickname for a broken hip on an old person) is in the hospital, but at least my favorite car build from you guys got a new episode 😅. Second favorite car in the world only beat by a 350z. I love the designs of these cars. Time to go to the hospital tho l, thanks for the video
I just found your channel. Watched the whole build from when you bought the z32. I currently own 4 z32's myself. This has been an amazing build for the project car. What is the future plans with it? If you were to sell it what would the asking price be?
If u get a handheld steam kettle and use it on the tint, it'll heat up the adhesive enough to allow u to pull it off easy enough. I've done it myself and it works. It's better when u have a second person to remove or steam it up though 😋
A buddy of mine built one of these with a magnum 318 outta a truck. No hood. Was literally the scariest car I ever road in. Only about 500 hp. But super loud. Just added to it's scariness. Love the car
Dash wrap in leather or at least the gauge part with some blue stitching would look cool but you’ll have to do something with the door cards to make them match too. Everything looks great though
I have 326 Power Wing on my 2+2 300zx. The way to make it fit the boot lid is till drill the bolt holes and tape some A4 paper sheets between the mounting points and boot lid either side and put the bolts in then. Then apply fibre glass / filler between the paper and the mounts to full the gaps round the outside. Then remove the wing, pull off the paper. Insert the bolts into the mounts so you don't fill in their threads. Then fill the bottom of the mounts flush with fibre glass. Then sand the edges and bases as required. Refit to car.
I tinted windows for 20years and a easy less messy way to get the film off is to warm up the glass using a hot air gun, use a razor to start a peel in a corner and use hot air and gently pull. It will come off so easily in 1 piece and will leave little to no sticky resin on the glass..Just keep the gun moving up and down along the flim as you pull it... makes the job so much easier and less messy..
Friendly advice. Next time, use a steamer to heat up and remove window tint. Any glue left can be easily removed by spraying regular glass cleaner and denatured alcohol and a razor blade.
After this build I wanna see another Mickey passion build 🙏🏻🙏🏻 I love seeing him build up his dream cars. But I love seeing all the dudes put in work on this car!
Love it! So satisfying to see this build come to life. 50/50 on the wing but I’m confident Throtl knows what they’re doing & it’s gonna turn out killer.
If the car will need some extra down force because of the extra hp & the wing is actually functioning properly. Then I love it, if it's only for looks, then I'd get rid of it.
Love those mirrors, especially if the holes are there to create less drag and/or act as little side stabilizer wings. Some glossy carbon fiber wheels would look awesome with that blue if they could be found for a reasonable price. I'd rather have an old 300ZX custom restomod than a new 2023 or 24 Z depending on what parts are used. I think the 300ZX has more soul. Plus can be customized to your taste. I'm sure they guys could build a restomod 300ZX that could eat a new stock Z.
You guys gotta try using a steamer to remove tint... Softens the adhesive and it'll usually come off in one piece with only a little scraping to get it started
Hey guys your content is very detailed and entertaining 🔥I do have a suggestion if it has not been mentioned after years of videos. Some of your in-shop videos can be a little shakey and my wife would appreciate a more stable hand or recording device. 🤦♀Keep up the revivals, transformations and events. Loved the 5.0. The Z is awesome too. ooooh that E30 tho!!! oh and the RX-7 wow
This is my favorite build you guys have done for obvious reasons for me. Nice job guys, this Z is going to be so nice. Where are you guys going to source the defroster vent plastics? When I pulled my dash in my Z mine broke to 1000 pieces.
You guys have great chemistry, talent, and skills. You guys have got to be my favorite to watch get down on these or any cars. You guys work flawlessly. Obviously you guys are on camera.anything came be made to look perfect by there is no mistaking you guys have it. The juice.
on the 2+2s, the twinZ type 3 rear bumper will look 1000% better and cleans up that side profile. shaves over 2 inches off and flushes it all up down low. it will line up with the side skirts perfect.
My friend used to have the model before this one. I prefer this model. He tried taking it down the dragstrip but didn't do too well. He eventually chose an RX7 and it was a beast 10 years ago. Pistonkilla was the name of the car. Slow by today's standards though.
Because I still wrench everyday. Just because its not on video doesnt mean I'm not out here. You guys see maybe 20% of what actually happens in our shop.
Kindly requesting on behalf all the Z purist that the 240 wing get put back on the shelf and not on the Z. TwinZ has beautiful wing/spoilers that go with the flow of the Zs body lines.
Sadly TwinZ cant make parts availalble. This whole car was supposed to be TwinZ and they couldn't get us parts in time. We literally could only get the center panel.
You know taking the old tint off is a lot easier with a portable steamer 👍 it’s better then taking it off with a razor blade to where you can end up scratching the window and takes a lot more time to do it that way
Seeing Quin n rickie working on cars kinda reminds me n my brother working on his Evo.. he passed away 4 years ago in motorcycle crash.. I had to sell the car because i was in college n need money but i will buy an Evo to honour him
I agree with Ricky on that center hood vent, when I saw the finished result I was like maaaaaaaan. Lol it turned out nice! I like the black rubber trim that you guys used for it, is that Oem spec or just an add on you guys thought of? Saw Quinn using it on the side squirts as well. Looks sweet!!
If you do it right with the design of that car it is built to cut through the air and give optimal ground effects of any car ever built, the only complaint that I have ever had with mine was the 150mph and the transmission is done, but a two speed solenoid shift rear end like the volvo or corvette would solve that problem, street and race gears, especially with the right motor, imagine that
Don't know if anyone has already mentioned, but a steamer would help take old tint of windows with ease. As a Tint Technician I recommend for your future builds. Great work Guys !
Ricky and Quin are the dynamic duo🔥🔥 Awesome work. God bless
Turning a $300 Nissan in to a $30,000 Nissan for only $50,000 parts & labor. Seriously, you guys are awesome!!!
Right?!
REALLY looking forward to seeing how this things turns out. Z32 never got the props it deserved for the clean lines it has.
Looking great, the blue and gold look so good together! Ricky and Quinn are the Dream Team!
The blue and gold blend well together looks good
This is easily the most satisfying build I’ve seen this channel do, and that’s a high bar!
i cant believe no one has commented this yet but that is a HICAS system for the rear steering
No wing or the original turbo wing from 89-93 will look a lot better...
Ricky, that center bumper vent is called the TWINZ design nose panel.
Love watching your guys build bub 🤙
I love what you guys are doing with this car! Looks amazing, mad respect!
facts 💯 😊
Just got news that my grandma fell and broke her hip (beginning of the end, is a nickname for a broken hip on an old person) is in the hospital, but at least my favorite car build from you guys got a new episode 😅. nose panel does fit fn perfect!
I'm so stoked to see this project come along. One of my fave Z cars.
Nicely done. Looking great, guys 👌🏼

Cloudy ammonia works great, eats the tint right up

Tried that. Didn't work.
That 300ZX is my favorite build so far... I've always wanted one of those.
Friendly advice. Next time, use a steamer to heat up and remove window tint. Any glue left can be easily removed by spraying regular glass cleaner and denatured alcohol and a razor blade.
The 300ZX is gonna be hella awesome when it's done. I am loving the progress and loving the Bayside Blue Paint.
After this build I wanna see another Mickey passion build 🙏🏻🙏🏻 I love seeing him build up his dream cars. But I love seeing all the dudes put in work on this car!

The 300zx looks awesome. One of my all time favorites! I want it!
Love the 300zx! I am here for the Z32! Been super excited since it's gotten back from paint.
I can’t wait for this to be done!! The Z32 is one of my favorite!
You guys gotta try using a steamer to remove tint... Softens the adhesive and it'll usually come off in one piece with only a little scraping to get it started
Love it - don’t think the spoiler is the best option 😬
I don’t like big spoilers!
Yeah love the build but that wing is not for that car .
Love the project! Love the updates! I wanted a 300zx for the longest time... It's awesome seeing the car go through the paces.
Dam that's looks fire. Man I miss my 300zx. So sick . Wow super clean . 😊😊😊 Good job guys.

The TwinZ kit would be the go-to for me. That paint looks amazing.
Sadly it has been on back order for months. We wanted to use it but couldnt get it in our time frame.
This is my favorite build you guys have done for obvious reasons for me. Nice job guys, this Z is going to be so nice.

Car looks awesome! Can’t wait for the transformation ! Keep up the great videos
Great work Quin, Saludos desde Honduras Ricky, happy to see that 300ZX reborn like Felix 🎉.. a great team THROTL 👏👏
Interested to see the wheels you guys pick with the blue.. Some BBS LMS's would be 👌👌
I didn’t know Billy from Stranger things owned this car lol
Wrap the dash gauge cluster hood and the door panel fabric in blue alcantara, similar to the new Z blue interior spec.
on the 2+2s, the twinZ type 3 rear bumper will look 1000% better and cleans up that side profile. shaves over 2 inches off and flushes it all up down low. it will line up with the side skirts perfect.
Every episode this car is looking better and better.
What an awesome way to start my Sunday with a Throtl video 😎 thanks bois 🎉
300, always been in my top 3. Can't imagine driving away with this. Looking sick gentleman. 🔥😎👌
You guys are so fun to watch ! Great work
The blue and gold is so sick
Keep us updated. Nice project guys

this turning out great! keep working you guys are awesome
Since this Z was my poster headboard, I am looking forward to the completion of your vision
that thing is looking bad ass. its one of 90's Nissan's that i wanted to get a hold of and mod. if i got one now days i would go turbo k swap.
3d print a spacer for the wing.. its not a problem at all with the type of shop u have .. lol awesome. job
Shaping up nicely, fellas. I'd love to see some BBS's on this badboy.
Can't wait to see the result you guys are the man
Throtl always killing it❤🔥
I love it 😀 question why does Mickey have a tool box he's an office boy now just like becks 😂❤
Because I still wrench everyday. Just because its not on video doesnt mean I'm not out here. You guys see maybe 20% of what actually happens in our shop.
Please do not ruin that car with that wing. Build is looking fresh though!
Love you guys, keep up the good work!
This will be one of my favorite builds.
TwinZ body kit a must. Lil disappointed about it not being RB but Twin Z is it
The color looks awesome
Yooooo! I used to have a 90 TT VG. Miss that car. Had Stillen exhaust, ecu, and intake. 400 hp 14lbs of boost.
Rick and Quinn hate this thing and now they are on fire. The car is really nice!!!!
Loving the build!! However, I am surprised that you opted not to widebody it. Very interesting
Its going to look so good when its done keep up the awesome guys
Ment to say keep up the awesome work guys sorry
I love this 300zx content 💯
Those Grantador's look great on the z, the stock mirrors never did it for me.
Ricky and Quin do everything while the other guys come out and check their progress every once in a while
You know taking the old tint off is a lot easier with a portable steamer 👍 it’s better then taking it off with a razor blade to where you can end up scratching the window and takes a lot more time to do it that way
Ricky and Quinn are the best, no doubt.
Could you fill the cracks and Alcantara wrap the whole dash?
Seeing Quin n rickie working on cars kinda reminds me n my brother working on his Evo.. he passed away 4 years ago in motorcycle crash.. I had to sell the car because i was in college n need money but i will buy an Evo to honour him
Looking fire. That paint is mint.
One of my all time favorite Nissan cars 😍😍
its a crime to do it this clean and not keep the VG30DETT in it :(
2:29 WIPEOUTTTT!
I had a 1994 300zx tt… awesome car.
You should paint the blue strip between the T top glass black to blend it in
It will be black. The car isn't done.
Y’all should get some TE37s for the 300z!

Ricky did NOT just weld without covering that expensive paint 😮 that made me sooo mad bro.
Don't know if anyone has already mentioned, but a steamer would help take old tint of windows with ease. As a Tint Technician I recommend for your future builds. Great work Guys !
been waiting for this one!!!
8:41 it’s called a nose panel. That specific one your holding is twinz nose panel. Your welcome.
it is fun t see quin and Ricky having time 😂😂😂
Where do you get that rubber from (or what is the product called) that you used on the side skirt to avoid rubbing ?
We got it from RocketBunny
That M car behind like…. 👀 🔥
Calvin at the end 🤣🤣🤣
Any plans for the fox body? Track/ drift setup?
Shoutout @KalvinMalli for putting on one side skirt 11:59
