Man I wish y'all could do so many more of these! It's like pimp my ride but actually good parts and real people. I bet that dude was blown away. That really is making a dream come true.
Yeah its exactly like pimp my ride, you're gonna see all these clapped cars and mad people in like 10 years. There was so much shady stuff they did in this video
For some reason it seems like simple car builds like this..are just so much fun to watch rather than any other exotic cars..great content by the way 2 thumbs up 👍🏻
The entire process is awesome, that facts that you guys didn’t just slap on parts but also performed basic maintenance is super awesome and over seen, well done guys!!
You guys are like pimp my ride if they actually did repair stuff and modify cars hella clean . Maybe that's why it's so addicting to watch all of the content you guys post. Definitely one of my top 5 youtube channels .
Honestly, if any car deserved the Throtl treatment, it's the RSX. I always felt like it was a super solid platform for customization/individualization. That thing is going to keep turning heads for a good long while. Excellent work as always guys!
@bolt2271 clearly the car was running and driving before it got there and I don't take much to do you research they undid all the work the owner did just to put the stock manifold back lol you build a car to look like a track car but remove the one thing that make the k20a breath more better for power and it don't take much to put the rbc manifold on they could have just painted it just like the old manifold they put on and done
I think it’s awesome you guys take the time to also do regular maintenance before crazy mods. Most people don’t think of doing maintenance before hand. Great job
oh man, i saw those unwrapped door shuts and i nearly cried. Compared to whats been spent on the rest, a couple of extra $$$$ on the shuts and it would have been perfect.
Anyone else watching these videos without the money or time to buy a car? Cuz I don't have a car and I have been looking at the 05-09 mustang GTs. Honestly I wouldn't want my dream car built for me, I would LOVE to just build it on my own and go through and make the mistakes, get dirty, and have fun while doing it. These types of UA-camrs are really amazing though, props to you guys for giving back to the community!
I can relate to that sentiment, but at the same time it's amazing for a busy person working full time to have their dream car given to them, I certainly wouldn't be upset about it.
I sometimes wonder why their videos pop up on my auto play 😂 I seen they took off rbc off and exploded why they took it off and instantly said these people are stupid😂 we all know they took it off because that carbon cover wasn’t gonna fit and they didn’t like that
That car looks awesome. Well done and seemingly well deserved. On a side note... I had the same exact car. The before version that is. And i can't say how happy I was to see the seat torn at the seam. That happened to mine one day when I was vacuuming. I must have knelt on the seam as I was cleaning the passenger side. When i showed it to the guy at the dealership he laughed at me and said that doesn't happen from what I said. He accused me of standing on the seat with my head out of the sunroof! He insisted I was lying. Ever since I've been nervous Nelly while kneeling in the seat and reaching four anything thinking maybe it was my fault. This is just proof that these cars had this issue. Vindicated.
Im old, I use to sell Acura back in the day. I'm amazed how many upgrade parts are available. Its an art what you guys do. That will drive way better then it ever did from the factory.
Sheesh. That was awesome guys, the attention to detail was stellar. Even the parts of the work that was sort of glossed over like all the under painting, cleaning of the interior, and all the other little bits that were gone through to make sure nothing was forgotten and sorted out. It was not unnoticed. Honda/Acura's are some of my favorite cars, so I may be a little biased to this choice but again beyond amazing work. ✌
Love what you guys are doing, helping people out and bringing joy to them and their family. Good luck and stay safe for many many more years to come team ❤
Loved seeing the preventative maintenance like the starter and love how y’all did some research adding Acura tl breaks, only you guys would go the extra mile!
Man! She's a beauty! I had so much fun watchin you guys build the car. Took me back to the times not so long ago when me and my guys were building my EK3. Those were such fun times. You guys are such a great bunch. Good vibes all around. Keep building you guys! thanks!
Hands down, the blue with the yellow accenting on the body kit… that’s just insanely good looking. I’m getting ideas for my RSX Type S on NFS Heat now… Now I want one of these irl too. In Heat they’re stunning, irl they’re just beautiful

I wish you could do a pick up truck transformation, I have a 2008 Tundra with 278k it is still pretty inside and out, not beaten up. I still enjoy driving it every day!
I love these vids, the transformations are really cool and the reactions of the owners are priceless! Makes me just a little bit sad to be living in Europe, it's be fun to see what you guys could do with a Kia Ceed... 😁😉 Already looking forward to the next one! 👍
I would literally freak out so hard if they did this to me , I've got a 2011 v6 mustang that I have done some work to. I would just really like to see what they would so with it to be honest since it is a v6. Anyways guys , great vid! Been a continuous watcher for about 6 months but subbed for 2 years.
Damn that would be dope to randomly get a message saying, "Hey, let me hook up your ride XD . Being a truck driver I never have time to do anything to my personal vehicles anymore , which does suck. Been wanting to hook up my 04 325i Manuel 4 door sedan.
IIRC all that heating and pulling the wrap is a really easy way to get it to peel really quickly. It makes the initial install very quick (why most places do it) but knocks years off the longevity of the job.
Looks incredible! I wish I would have known about this channel earlier. I own a 2002 RSX Type-S with 320K with the original clutch. However, still love this build! You guys did a great job!

This is what an episode of Pimp My Ride should have been like instead of what we got back in the mid 2000s. Great job guys looks amazing
Man I wish y'all could do so many more of these! It's like pimp my ride but actually good parts and real people. I bet that dude was blown away. That really is making a dream come true.
yeah when oscar came up and explain what he did.. reminded me of pimp my ride! hahaha
I am just wondering how you get selected
Facts lol 😂
pimp my ride but its not riced

Such a nice down to earth guy, happy he won, the car came out fire !

Congratulations to Tomasssss!!!!!! Super happy for you brother I jad a blast building this RSX for you. Time for you to enjoy 😉
I had a blast meeting y’all!!! Thanks for the work you did on my car! I can’t wait to get it back and enjoy it!
Nice. 👍
Need your 💪🏽 to change out my RSX tie rods. I’ll let you drive it on the track after 😂

I'm no car expert but was the RSX fast? I mean did it feel fast?
@@ppduval Probably not the base model, but the Type S was quick for what it was.
@@ppduval type S was pretty quick for the time and a very good platform to easily upgrade to make more power. Not to mention just beautiful cars.
Had a 2002 RSX Type-S as well and it was an amazing, fun, and reliable vehicle! 300k km's and had no issues. Just an incredible little car
I understand fitment wise, but the RBC manifold is actually a decent enough upgrade over the stock Type S one.
Came to say the same thing, if they had gone with a tegiwa intake rather than an aem one it would have sounded epic..
Man from CRSX days… I was looking for this comment.
A very bad decision in my opinion to remove the rbc manifold
@@dateg18 if its done right but it wasn't so they were smart to switch it back

As a person who’s building his truck whit what I can afford much respect for this guy for making peoples dream come true
I didn't have super high expectations when I saw the before... But wow! What a transformation. Mickey killed it on the yellow accents.
He looks genuinely happy... a lil bit of "doubt" that he actually won is so genuine
Congrats Thomas!!! Thank you for all you do Throtl team!!!
I think it’s awesome you guys take the time to also do regular maintenance before crazy mods. Most people don’t think of doing maintenance before hand. Great job
Happy to see such a humble guy win the car of his dreams :) congrats man
oh man, i saw those unwrapped door shuts and i nearly cried. Compared to whats been spent on the rest, a couple of extra $$$$ on the shuts and it would have been perfect.
Nothing over the top. Just clean and a great modern representation of an RSX. Great job guys!
Giant wing and cf canards on a fwd 200 hp car seems very over the top.
@@fitz2589 No. Over the top is a giant "front-mounted" wing on a fwd car. A la Chris Raddo's "Black Betty" Scion TC

What I love is these builds aren’t the pimp my ride BS build. These guys do a proper job. Respect
Would have definitely kept the RBC intake manifold.

yeah I thought that was the better RBC intake manifold
If competing or pure performance aspect maybe keep the RBC manifold, but for fit and finish, they went the right direction.

Just saying what I would have done, you know.
These guys are modern day "Pimp My Ride" that actually fixes the subscribers' car problems and make it functional! Congrats Thomas!

That civic si manifold is a power upgrade. It gives more flow.
Ya I definitely didn't understand changing that. Pretty much every rsx owner puts an RBC manifold on their car.
Lots of sins including the shim behind the rotor. Better to machine the calipers.
You can tell they did no research on that. I was annoyed lol
Finally a car that's actually WORTH transforming.

BIG FAIL removing that RBC manifold for a stock one.
Damn thats unreal! All i want is a carbon fibre roof for my e46 m3.. this is so awesome
Did these people just remove a rbc to put the stock intake manifold back on this is nuts why would they do this??
You think Thomas even misses it?
Yeah and pulled the valve cover without adjusting the valves. Yikes.
Good thing they put an autozone starter on the block.
this feels like pimp my ride but without the forced reactions, and the mods are actually useful.
I congratulate you all for the work you do
I would have to agree. Throtl should do more of these dream builds.
