I'm not so sure about the wires, I thought this was a bigger version of the rapid reflector for speed lights that is bendable.
Obviously that one would need more support like these wires, but something about this design tells me that this could be simply a series of panels that folds out with strong enough exterior metal lining to keep it secure.
I do like it and of course cost is everything but the wires still give me a bit of pause. It is totally awesome that the ability to use it as a side reflector that's great.
