You perfectly depict the philosophy that Protagoras believed in. You should post more Greek philosophy videos!!!

I read the statement “man is the measure of all things” and it suggests, to me, the quantum physics “many worlds theory”. Both suggests that everything is true. Everything really does happen. If I go in a room and I think it is warm and you think it is cold - we are both right. simultaneously the universe expands to include both of our realities.

Fascinating and thought provoking; also makes you feel, fundamentally, how close they were to our own ways of thinking, including our societies’ follies, and how we keep on keeping-on making the same mistakes, the same liberations etc., the eternal return is real :: excellent vid essay as per, with beautiful art work 👏 thank you James.

In many ways I think the ancients were more open minded than many scientists today. They truly were impressive for the time they lived 🥃 Cheers!

Interesting video James, keep up the video essay format. In terms of Socrates on the sophist, there is a Greek work about Sophistry called Sophists. I am rather unsure about the position and keep going back to and fro. Sometimes Nietzsche, sometimes Sam Harris. Some things are clearly wrong, however it comes as to question as why these are wrong, and what is the origin of the em being wrong. Cheers, here’s to more videos. -Lucio Constantine.
