The screaming child hesitant to enter the toothy mouth entrance is EXACTLY why Gatorland eventually moved their gator mouth away from the entrance and off to the side. You can still get photos with it, but it was too scary for some kids to even enter the establishment!
There is one more attraction at Lester's Possum Park not seen in the movie. In a Danish storybook adaptation of A Goofy Movie, as Max storms off in anger out of the park, Goofy laments that they're leaving without having gotten to see an attraction called The Talking Rutabega. Page 53 Original text: "Gosh!" sagde Fedtmule. "Jamen... vi har jo ikke engang set Den talende Kålroe!" English translation: "Gosh!" said Goofy. "But... we haven't even seen The Talking Rutabaga!"
That’s pretty awesome 😅 there’s a little ride partially in the background (hard to even confirm it’s a ride), and I wonder that’s what it is. Could be another show or something too. Who knows!
@@StorybookAmusement One can only imagine. Though, having translated this entire book myself, I'm pretty sure that "The Talking Rutabaga" was something that was just made up by the author, as the book reads like it was written by someone who had never actually watched the movie and was instead just going by a summary of the film's story. The book is full of things like this that weren't in the movie, sometimes even rewriting certain scenes to happen in completely different ways from how they happened in the movie Still, there's nothing about *this* particular bit from the book that contradicts the film, so we could still imagine that "The Talking Rutabaga" is somewhere in the park just offscreen.
@@milestinker2178 that's probably likely that it's more of a name than anything thought-out. Shame the book is kind of inconsistent with the movie. But thanks for sharing that!
@@StorybookAmusement My pleasure. There's all kinds of print media for A Goofy Movie that was released over in Europe (France, in particular, got the most stuff) that the U.S. never got. It's all pretty fascinating for anyone who's a big fan of A Goofy Movie.

I can see that being incredibly traumatizing 😆
Loving this "Parks We Can't Visit" series! So many interesting nuggets in these videos, AND it gives me things to add to my Disney+ watch list.
It’s always a good time to throw on A Goofy Movie. 😁
What the?! I'm about to release a live action Lester's Possum Park tomorrow.
That’s amazing!
@@StorybookAmusement Great minds think alike
What a classic this movie is.
It’s perfect in every way. 😌
This show is NOT pathetic Max, the CONDITION of the show is!
😅
I can't wait until we get to the Polnareffland episode!
so fun!! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I wish it were real!
Idea for a video:the facility from rainbow friends chapter 1 if it counts and odd world from rainbow friends chapter 2
This is a great movie, this park should be Disney Worlds 5th gate!!
It’ll have low maintenance costs, so it’s a great investment!
@@StorybookAmusement Exactly 😂😂

I know it's not a real theme park. I watched a Goofy movie long long ago when I was younger.
But I wish it were real 😭
I'm with max
"A Goofy Movie" came out in 1995, not 1985.
This feels like a Mandela Effect moment. I swear I said 1995! 🥴
That park is totally lame
What’s important is that they tried their best. AH-YOUICK!
