My son and I love to watch your videos, Mr. Puzzle. He is six years old and asks me if I want to watch your videos on my phone together. It helps him to learn patience and problem solving. Thank you!
I just bought this exact box from a game shop in Paris during our Europe trip! It took almost a full 2 hours to solve on the train from Paris to Nuremberg! Awesome puzzle and loved watching your video after I had already solved it myself! I can confirm...putting it back to it's original state is almost more difficult than the original solve, but it's very satisfying because by then you completely understand the steps and can do them quickly. Much love Mr. Puzzle! Long time fan!
Mr. Puzzle's son: "Dad, can you tell me a bedtime story?" Mr. Puzzle: *Open The Art Of Puzzle Boxes* "Once upon a time, there was a man named Akio Kamei..."
I had a similar puzzle made from plastic back in my high school days. (I won't say how many decades ago that was) It really frustrated me until I took a digital electronics class, and learned about binary progression. After that, the puzzle was a fun finger exercise.
Completely confuse me? You are overestimating my abilities Mr P. Memes aside I haven't really understood much more than the giraffe puzzle over the years 😅
This makes me think of another Constantin puzzle, the Waiter's Tray, where each piece has several places it can go, controlled by another piece. In this case they're small rods, in the Waiter's Tray they're bearing balls.
So how many moves does it take? Some multiple of 2 to the power of 8 (256)? Or maybe those sliders have 3 positions so something up to a power of 3 to the 8th (6561)? Or what?
I think the spoiler break could be put much later than it was. Like maybe at the end of the video - i don't think i could solve it after watching the whole thing.
The moment when you realize it will take you a lot more time than you expected! 😅
Heh
That looks cool , I want it just to look at it and play with it
I thought the giraffe would take me a couple of seconds. I still can't solve it

Very pretty.
The solve method seems to be related to the 'Chinese Ladder' style, where you're basically counting in binary.
Yes
That's why he kept referring to "n-ary" puzzles. "N-ary" is a generic term to refer to binary, trinary, quaternary, etc.
@@Mr.Puzzle bitte helfen Sie mir. Bitte ich flehe Sie an.
I need this for my credit cards. It makes you think long and hard if you REALLY need to use credit for something! 🤣🤣🤣

I couldn't tell what was going on the entire time, but enjoyed it none the less
I've enjoyed your videos for a long time.

Blue and white with knobs that turn and that are each a circle with a couple of arcs removed from it?
@@JasperJanssen Mine was all clear plastic with black sliding posts.

Thankfully you had experience with the previous puzzle.👍

Take a shot of vodka everytime he says "bam" you're welcome
That puzzle is really beautifully made
Great solve Mr. P! I'd probably never figure out the solution to solving that puzzle! 🤔🤔
You are the Bob Ross of puzzles
It took you just little over an hour!!! It would take me 2 weeks!!! Great challenging puzzle!!
That moment when a puzzle turns Mr. Puzzle into Emril on every step. BAM!!

Looks ternary to me, but possibly 3 to the fourth?
Awesome puzzles.
The puzzles remind me of my baitcasting fly reels.
Nice book
