Since you asked, I would love to see future videos about those Latin Square puzzles. By the way, I agree; seeing such irregular polygons form such a smooth shape is a satisfying feeling.
At first I thought the thumbnail had accidentally given away the solution. I was like NOOOO! Now it won't be as fun to watch you solve it and try and figure it out along the way... But you tricked us LOL.😄
I love packing puzzles, couldn't tell you why they are just lovely to watch when they are as well made as this. I'd love to see the other two as well, the one with the cut outs looks amazing!
I love how great unifying puzzles are. Most require no language and can be enjoyed by so many people regardless of understanding of the original language.
4:50 reminds me of something... Oh yes, it's the old logo of the HDFC bank. Also from Hong Kong. Wonder why they changed their logo, though? (I'm from India. I'm allowed to make that joke)
I'm kind of curious about one thing in your video. At the 5:41 mark of your video if you had moved the sail pieces slightly so they were on an angle and touching the curved corners of the other boats would they have dropped into place?
The solution doesn’t look like sailboats or at least I don’t see any. Possibly a different solution? Either way great video. I definitely want to see you solve any puzzles you own.
That's a misdirection to make the puzzle a little more demanding. Also that all pieces can fit into the corners. Those ideas hold you for a while until you start thinking outside the box again. Only the four pieces each being the exact same shape points to a symmetry. This is a major trait of good puzzles - the solution must be easy to see but hard to find.
I've been at the Merriam Webster page for the definition of 'packing' for the past 5 minutes listening how to pronounce audio again and again. It sounds exactly like the old way you said it which is exactly the way I've said it for decades. Now I'm just confused.
I wonder if it's a British English vs American English thing. I'm American, and I definitely pronounce it like the first version (the old way) of his. Packing, with the same vowel as in apple, map, or hat.
@@chalichaligha3234 It's not a merger we're talking about here, but a vowel shift. In my English, we also distinguish between packing and pecking, but his old version sounds like "packing" and his new version sounds like "pahking" to me. Neither sounds like "pecking" to me
@@chalichaligha3234 I wonder if he learnt any English from a South African. I can easily imagine packing sounding like pecking when said with a South African accent.
idk who told you you're pronouncing "packing" wrong but the way you pronounced it originally is how I pronounce it but maybe its because I'm from Wisconsin and I say "bay-guhl" to say bagle
@@lukostello - I listened a few more times, and now I think you are correct. I don't really understand what was the original problem with the pronunciation. In English the word "packing" (pack) really only has one way of being spoken, since pack rhymes with crack, back and sack.
Don't let people give you shit about your accent I think it's wonderful and smarter than most people including me for being able to learn a new language. Hell your probably smarter than most of the population because you're so good at these puzzles some of them you'd never think that be the solution but you figured it out.
Just need to be careful not to over extend the 'a' in packing, or it ends up sounding like parking. The way you pronounced the 'a' in the word 'Latin' at 9:40 is what you want to be aiming for. Needless to say your English is way better than I'm capable of in any other language.
@@johncoops6897 i think he might have and just didn't say anything. if he didn't notice it's probably because in Germany you don't see that symbol anywhere and it's strictly forbidden to use it or to glorify those people. if you live in America for instance it's not forbidden and it's something you do see now and then.
@@doowroh - look at the joint between the parts in the centre of the solved puzzle. Now think about something relating to Germans, that they prefer not to discuss in public.
Spends too much of the video cutting out all of the shots of the puzzle without his hands in the way. Makes it frustrating to try to follow along, cuz mostly it's just shots of the backs of his hands.
Genuinely thought the thumbnail was the solution!
Well played sir.
Literally 😐

I came here to leave an angry comment and give Mr Puzzle a 'thumbs down' for the first time.

Will definitely do that
I would love to see the next puzzles in this series please Mr Puzzle.
You got me with the thumbnail.
😂👍
Your old way of pronouncing "packing" is perfectly ok.
It sounds like pucking puzzle now...
If you think about it, sex is also a facking puzzle...

He should just speak in his native german. He would definitely reach more people that way!

Very satisfying solution indeed, love the colour scheme, it's very steam punk I'd say
Of course I (we) want to see the other puzzels solved by you!
I'm sure a non-slate table would help with the scratches, Mr. P... hehe! and I would like to see one of the bigger ones, sure. Great stuff as usual!

Latin Square - yes, please.
Great puzzle.. great idea for my daughter…
She will love it!
The plastic sounds are extremely satisfying.
Fabulous puzzle, great solution.

Very interesting solution Mr. P! Nice solve..... 👍👍👏👏😉😉

Great video.
Not sure if you have ever shown your face before, but now we can put a face to the voice. 1:55
Tell me that when finished looks kinda sus
Yeah, there are a few points that made go 'Umm that's not, uhhh...'!
I'd like to see the 3x3 Square. Maybe with all the solution "levels". The 6x6 just scares me.
Great packing puzzle. Mr P, did you ever try the well puzzle? I can't find a video. Keep on puzzling! 👍
Have it here but did not try it yet. Interested in seeing it?

He revealed himself a lot of times a long time ago, even in intros
He does videos with Mr Puzzle Jr where he is completely on camera.

This puzzle reminded me of a German symbol
Idk kinda reminds me of a Buddhist symbol
latin square puzzle!!!!
Hey Mr. Puzzle, can you do more Puzzles from Siebenstein Spiele? For example "Die wilde 13" or "Für Elise"?
I will check them!
Solve them all !!!
The solution looks like a 4-on collision from the boats.
Plot twist: the thumbnail is REALLY the solution
I would love to see you do the 36 pc difficult puzzle you showed us.
Have you ever thought where's more than one solution of this puzzle?
I've always called it the Keking Pukkle
Oh man I thought you spoiled the solution in the thumbnail initially :)
Never! 😉
Still waiting for that impossible planet puzzle you never finished :D .
Your solution doesn’t seem to be a sailboat though? Perhaps the name was intended to misdirect?
Nice
very cool :)
Are, uh, you sure that it's legal to display that puzzle in Germany?
Shhhh, vee don't tork about zee vorrrr.
How the hell did I just predict the solution to that and get it right straight away.
20/20 hindsight maybe?
One day id love to buy a packing puzzle from a local mall or souveneir shop. Buying online wouldnt be as intimate.
