I went to the Big Day Out in 1999 just to see them. Marilyn Manson was the headline act and I didn’t give a shit about anybody else except seeing the Warumpi Band. I was at the front of the stage and I just stood there and took it all in. They were incredible.
Yeah I remember seeing them there too and when they played this song the crowd was going off. I was standing a little to the side of the pit on the front barrier watching them in awe feeling so happy to finally see them live .
I remember this show, I set up the PA and ran the soundcheck but could not be there on the night for some reason. A very distinctive backdrop that I instantly recognise. This is the beginning of the Diesel and Dust Tour that Warumpi Band did with Midnight Oil. Do you have any more clips from this show ?

The tour was actually called Blackfella Whitefella Tour, but yes more clips please.
