Warriors shouldn't be giving you many problems unless they're geared. Howl after charge and shadowflame slow to anticipate zerker rage, get some distance to force an intercept. Trinket intercept and coil and start running with your fingers ready on your curse of exhaustion bind to anticipate trinket (it's fine even if they don't, your goal here is just range). Once done, gain more range and cast unstable aff at them, don't bother fake casting it, just let them reflect it. Now rage should be wearing out, so cast another fear and shadow ward yourself for the UA that was reflected, now cast a roll of dots for free. Second time round is of course trickier, but the opener often leads to a win in my experience. If you're a gnome, an escape artist into shadowflame slow to gain range is devastating against warriors on that 2nd charge. Also don't forget to put up unending breath + detect invis beforehand if you're going to voidwalker shield as any good warrior will just shield slam it off. Having those 2 other buffs active drops the success rate of slamming it off from 100% to 33% and with an 8k shield, you don't want to let it drop easily. Rogues are quite simple too, just coil after they've used cloak (even if you don't get a full row of dots, you can force it by being aggressive at the start. Corruption and searing pain spam can entice it out sooner), 99% they trinket the coil, use instant howl and cast a roll of dots on them, then port away and cast curse of exhaustion on them and run away in the other direction whilst dots work them down. Ferals you shouldn't bother trying to kite as you suggested as it's virtually impossible. The best thing to do is fear them after they open so they pop berserk, then coil after and they trinket (try to squeeze in a haunt before they do) then stand in the one spot and spam drain life at them with demon armour active. They have no interrupt effect like kick, so it's free to cast and you will actually get some healing done rather than aimlessly trying to kite. Another reason it's so effective is that it auto locks on and follows them, denying their ability to ever get behind you to cast shred, which is their main damage ability. So in effect, you are healing + denying damage, which is like even more healing. Use void shield when he maims you. With good resilience, this should allow you to buy enough time before berserk ends, where you can then fear + full dot him again. You can increase your survival with herbalism lifeblood or haste engi gloves so that drain life ticks faster. Battlemaster trinkets can come in clutch if your dps trinkets aren't very good. With these tricks, I tend not to lose vs these classes very often on my affliction, unless they're geared to the teeth or something like that. I will agree, however, that DK is basically impossible unless they're somewhat braindead.. But even those ones have a good chance vs you given how straightforward their antimagic kit is. Not sure why you were using seed of corruption either at the start of the vid since it'll override corruption itself and seed gains no benefit from your talents at all (including the healing off siphon life) as that's all tuned for corruption. I'm assuming you just had it bound to show off some burst at the target dummies, but it really shouldn't be bound at all as aff. Overall though, good guide. I like the way you edit them so it's easy to sit through and relaxed. Not bashing either with what I wrote, just figured I'd give you some tips on what works well for me. Again, melee classes tend not to give me many problems. Maybe you or some new locks will read this and apply it, or maybe it'll just sit here quietly gathering dust and ignored. Oh well, up to you.

He doesnt need to waste his intercept to get to you, he can just walk at you. Also lets say somehow he intercepts you. When you coil and he trinkets, he can use intimidating shout to again close the distance and buy time for his next charge, especially now that you dont have trinket. I still firmly believe a good warrior has no business losing to an affliction warlock, its a notoriously hard matchup.

Yeah it works off a scroll. You use it on item you want your item to look like. It gives you an essence. Then you said essence on said piece of gear to make it look like whatever. Currently how my pally has T6 on my T10s
Ya, the hardest class to beat as affi is dk unholy, destro lock (pure dmg in your face + fear = GL) and ench shaman (spam tremor totems = no fear). Some clues for dk: - if he pops anti-magic shell you have to instantly teleport out and run not letting him to grip you - if he pops lichborn while he is close instant death coil - corruption on everything - dk, pet and gargo. For gargo use also CoT. - fel hunter as pet to dispell chains - good luck, because if you make a mistake you will die XD
@@NibbaiWotlk Exaclty, thats why I wrote mistake = death :D. The truth is that you can beat weak or normal dk if you play well as affi and have experience. But if you face good and experienced dk there is no place for mistake, so probability that you gonna die increases greatly haha. Anyway, every affi should know basics/pro tips so he can defend better in world pvp/bgs/arena, because 1v1 is not everything in pvp.

In my personal opinion, the best for solo leveling is Affliction, because your dots gets more power and then you can heal yourself with corruption, drain life and Haunt. Destruction have a lot of damage, however, Destruction just drains your mana because the mana that use your spells is some expensive and you need to spam it, i know, we have a talent can help us but honestly, i don't see the difference.

Hello do you guys have any tips for a more BG oriented build for Affliction Lock? I'm not expert but i feel some talents are better in BG comparing to Arenas, for example i'm getting way more kills in BGs with the Death's Embrance talent and i think it's quite a must for a BG oriented build, CotE build puting 3 points in Shadow Embrace is much better aswell since there is a high chance everyone is with the Shadow Resistance buff from a Priest, etc. As i said recently in a video from this channel i don't find Arenas or Duels enjoyable anymore because of huge meta mentality of most players, they are literally crackheads, it's insane, insta cleanses in perfect timing, etc, i like to relax/enjoy some PvP gameplay with as little effort as possible after a big day of work and there's no better place than BGs specially Alterac Valley, i think the anarchy mess in the environment of BGs makes people play less like crackheads and it leaves a lot of openings to enjoy PvP while playing relaxed af.

its not thad bad , im horde and the most frustrating thing is that 90% of alliance are humans because of their racial that enables them to wear two dps trinkets. its so bad seeing that many people meta gaming if anything its almost worse than live wow.

You really should have fully dotted the mage while he was killing your pet -> cc mage -> resummon pet -> redot. Mages are cake for locks...
A mage who knows how to cc and kill pet is very difficult. But 99% don't know how to do it.

With the siphon life glyph is it +25% to equal 65% siphon or is it just 25% of the original 40%?
25% of 40% = 10% more, so it effectively becomes 50% heal from corruption dmg.

its not thad bad , im horde and the most frustrating thing is that 90% of alliance are humans because of their racial that enables them to wear two dps trinkets. its so bad seeing that many people meta gaming if anything its almost worse than live wow.
