      if by "justice" you mean a lowly traffic infraction then you need to hold our public justice system to higher account. there is no "faith in justice" because our cops lack the balls to arrest serious offenders. our courts lack the ability to proseecute these repeat offenders and put them away for long periods of time and our municipal, provincial and federal governernments have different outlooks on crime reduction than 99% of our population so there is no real justice in the criminal system

      Ive lived there in Toronto and have driven there as well as Montreal....Vancouver hands down way worse at driving.
      Toronto drivers...as much h as an oxymoron as this is going to be.
      .are smart drivers but reckless...Montrealers just speed because they can't turn red on a right ...but Vancouverites just reckless and dumb and have zero sense of road control...is crazy.
      Also can anyone pls explain why every driver in Vancouver when parallel parking always hits the curb with their back right tire?
      Literally every single time I watch someone parallel park here...that tire always connects with the curb.
      And it's only something I've noticed in Vancouver.

Instead he decided to accelerate and try to not let the Civic in which caused the civic to accelerate more and cut the POV off. This happens the most on my daily commute on Boundary. It's the same thing at Boundary and 22nd heading South bound where Boundary turns from a 3 lane to a 2 lane because of parked cars on the very right lane. Some people like to block those on the right lane going straight because they have to merge to the middle lane

    4:07 the cammer needs to be a better driver. They can see the Honda speed up to be in front and you can see the truck parked in their lane. Just not accelerate as much and they would have went into your lane and it would have been a non event.

    • @bcbikeboard322
      @bcbikeboard322 9 місяців тому

      Yep it would've been a non event if the white car had just stayed behind him and remained patient instead of racing off the line and cutting him off before a parked truck. It's not hard to be patient and wait. Assholes typically ike to speed in front of people and cut them off. And this asshole got the ticket. Cammer's driving is great, you're tripping fewl.

    • @MacPhuck
      @MacPhuck 2 місяці тому +2

      Well, the cop decided the Honda's right hand pass, which is illegal, was worth the effort of ticketing.
      Just because an illegal move is common doesn't make it ok.

    I have lived in the GVRD for many years, moving to the S. Okanagan about 8 yrs ago. Traffic in the 'Lower Mainland' had become ridiculous, made far worse by the over-abundance of a-hole drivers like those shown here. Moving to a small rural city reinvigorated my love for driving, the residents far less stressed and hurried... and mostly very courteous.
    Bad drivers are sadly EVERYWHERE, but for some reason, Vancouver has a horrible mix of both unskilled and aggressive drivers. As driving in heavy traffic absolutely requires social skills as well as driving skills, the current state of Canadian society reflects directly the state of it's driving culture in it's largest cities. What's-in-it-for-me and then zero effort to make the lives of those you encounter in a day just a little bit better. Take care, all... and please drive safely and respectfully.

    They need more of the HOV enforcement at the Massey Tunnel. SO many of those people that skirt the traffic and clog of the HOV/Bus lane for the truly HOV-eligible vehicles.

    14:10 I'm on the civics side sorry. There was a FedEx van there so obviously he was going to have to merge either in front of you or behind you. Typically the car in the right lane goes ahead but not always. if you didn't want him to go ahead you should have gone faster.. and this lets them know that you're going in front. The fact that the civic was going quicker than you and they obviously had to merge because of the FedEx van. You should have dropped your ego and just let them go ahead of you . I know they didn't signal and that wasn't right, but everyone knows in that situation that they should have gone ahead of you. And if you cut them off or you I know they didn't signal and that wasn't right, but everyone knows in that situation that they should have gone ahead of you. you shouldn't punish someone for not signaling by forcing them to crash into a upcoming vehicle.. you knew exactly what you were doing.. if you assumed they were going to park while they wouldn't have been going so quickly if they were planning on parking. It's clearly obvious that they were going ahead of you and that you didn't want them to do that because u have an ego

      Agreed. His lane carried on past the intersection, and it was blocked by a delivery van, so he simply accelerated hard to get ahead and change lanes. Additionally, it almost appears that the person with the dashcam accelerated hard to prevent the guy on the right from doing this.

    I Drive in lower mainland Vancouver all day and I just realized I’ve become numb to this sort of driving behaviour all day , I think now I’m going to UA-cam this stuff. While on the subject, people on cell phones texting while driving, at stop lights 🚦 the stoplight one is my favourite, they look up after 20 seconds of texting, look up, drive thru the yellow and you are stuck behind them waiting for the next green, dump truck drivers the worst, texting while driving there 40 tonne truck and pony all over the place except for the lane they should be in, like DC said “those people”
