Last night, I just finished watching the 5-episode live-action adaptation of Yu Yu Hakusho on Netflix, and oh boy, I'm hungry for more! Fingers crossed for a follow-up with more episodes next time. The abundance of action scenes was a big win for me. Personally, I found it even more enjoyable than the One Piece Netflix adaptation, but hey, this is my all-time favorite anime, so I might be a bit biased, hehe~. 😉 For those who've been following me for a while, you know I have a mega crush on Kurama. Seriously, I adore him! OMG! 😍 Surprisingly, in the live-action, I found myself really enjoying scenes featuring Kuwabara, Mr. Tarukane, and Elder Toguro. 😄 Anyway, I hope you'll enjoy this update. Quick note about my previous cover of this song: I channeled my inner A'TIN and tried to infuse some of SB19's "Go Up" during the rap part of "Homework ga Owaranai" since I couldn't find the original rap lyrics. Big thanks to みりじょにさん; I understood some of the original rap, but mixing it like the original is beyond my capabilities. So, I did my best to add some words that groove with the beat. Personally that's what I didn't like in the live action. They've wasted so much runtime on pointless and dragged-on action instead of fleshing out the characters and the story more, especially in the first episode. It was still a fun watch but I expected more as a fan which left me disappointed. Also great cover as always!
