Best thing I did before I moved was buy all my appliances and things on Black Friday for discounts on every item. Then kept it all boxed up till I moved! Saved me so much money

I prefer meeting people outside somewhere, i don't invite people to my place at all. My home is my place of peace, and i don't want that disruption with people's bad energy.

Don’t be afraid to move into a studio! never force to live in a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom and you’re by yourself. The beauty of renting is that you can always change. And definitely try buying as much as you can before you move, even if it’s bleach and other detergents, small and big try buying something every month until you’re there
I’m also 29 years old; have moved out here but moved back due to Covid; I’m moving out next year just after my 30th; very much looking forward to having my own space and forever this time!
29 must be the sweet spot lol because I’m also 29 and with my parents. Felt like a late bloomer. Ready to move out and have my own spot. Was aiming for at least a 2 bedroom but the rent where I live is ridiculous. Watching this made me realize that was the problem. Saying “Oh I can’t do a studio”. I CAN do a studio and should probably start with small steps and build up to my goal. I definitely feel limited staying with them and this just inspired me to leap.

currently overcoming the stage of fear with moving out. i never experienced struggle (glory to God) and it scares meee. but i feel God calling me to go!
I was just talking to my friend about this! So blessed to have the support and love I have and have been kept from certain struggles I definitely have been fearful of what ifs but I do feel so led to move out and start doing more for myself and by myself ✨
This video was truly refreshing and comforting. I've been struggling with this feeling of embarrassment as well when it comes on to my living situation but I've hit soo many milestones too!! God has done some amazing things in a space that I've been itching to leave. That verse about small beginnings ministers to me so often

This is such a nice encouraging video. I too moved out later in life than most for the first time on my own and what you said were very useful tips (saving, enjoying/ protecting your space & getting outside)!! I’m still working on the last part lol

Ashamed? Im 28 and been on my own since 14. Literally. Im jealous of yall who had parents to stay with most of your life - you dodged so many bad things in life by staying with your parents. So again, NOTHING to be ashamed of. You actually won in life lol
