    Wow that is a nice little heater. Total space saver.😊

    The deadzone is set to +3 for anybody wondering why the heat is not coming back on when it goes under your set temp! To set the Deadzone hold the heat button. I set it to +2 but +1 will be more accurate. This gave me some headache as i couldn't figure out why it wasn't coming back on. Also the fan 1-10 is for speed while the 1-10 on the heat is how much the dampener is open to let in heat into the tent!!

    Being that this thing is plastic I wonder if it’s off gassing when heating up and blowing that stuff right onto your flowers. I would be curious to see an air quality meter inside the tent with it on and off to see if air quality numbers increase when it’s running.

      @EasternGrows757  25 днів тому

      That’s a good question. I’ll have to look into a air quality monitor to see if it is. Now I’m curious myself.

    I have never ever thought I needed more heat in my tent ..in fact I'm always trying to figure out how to get heat out of my tent ...

    • @EasternGrows757
      @EasternGrows757  26 днів тому +3

      I had the same thought, but then I started growing in an unsealed and non heated garage. It’s a perfect addition to the grow.

    Be something to look into after its been out for a season, im alittle scetch when it comes to these small plug in heaters

    • @EasternGrows757
      @EasternGrows757  25 днів тому

      I don’t blame you. I’ve been running it for 2weeks now and I issues. The outside has stayed cold with no indications of over heating. Now if the filter is too dirty, that might be a different story.

    Have been curious about this unit. Would love to try it just to compare to my existing unit. The power of only 550 concerns me as, my current unit heats both my veg and flower tents. But, still would be worth a try to see if i can control the vdp in both.

    • @EasternGrows757
      @EasternGrows757  26 днів тому +1

      It’s definitely a nice addition to the grow. I’m just not to sure if it will be able to keep up as it gets colder. We will see. It definitely is efficient and saves space.

    Got one a couple of weeks ago, my wife's hair dryer pushes out more heat, this heater is half the wattage of almost every other electric heater available so it barely heated my 5x5 tent . The first night it decided to not push out heat , checked it in the morning and it was blowing cold, took it out of my tent and plugged it in and it started blowing hot air again. Although i say hot, its only slightly warm air that it pushes out , if your grow space is in a garage like mine is then this heater will not be adequate , it might be ok for frost prevention but it won't keep your plants warm. Another annoying thing is , when you stand the fan on its side using the little stubby legs , the display is upside down, so you have to either get on your hands and knees to read / adjust the settings, or stand over the thing and do it all upside down. The display does not stay on, ok if it's inside your flowering tent to not give off any light but totally useless if the heater is placed outside the tent, the only way to see the display is to actually approach the heater and press any button, not ideal as i would prefer it to remain lit so you can actually see that the heater is on and working at a glance. Noise.. this heater is really loud, if your forced to grow stealthily then this heater is not for you, it sounds like a small jet plane, when running the heater in the garage it could be heard from the garden, so probably not ideal if you are in a apartment etc. The fact that this heater failed on it's first use means i cannot trust it, not willing to risk my girls so i purchased a regular electric heater with thermostat control, 1000w and under half the price of the SF heater.. Ok, i cant set day and night temps etc, but its keeping my tent at the perfect temperature and is reliable..

      I will agree that it doesn’t push out as much air as I thought it would. My grow is in my garage which is unsealed and non heated and it keeping up with what I need it to do. Now as the temps get colder like 18f I do not expect it to be able to keep up. I was honestly expecting a little more out of it but I do feel like this heater is better for a 3x3 and smaller.

    I need something that will heat a bigger tent like a 10x10 not a 4x4 😔

    • @EasternGrows757
      @EasternGrows757  18 днів тому

      Yeah I’d look at other heater options unless the 10x10 is in a climate controlled environment.

    Thrips hit my Kosher Kush and I hit em up with some Bugzooka and it is meh. I ran it threw the soil and bottom feed with it in and holy cow dead bodies in the drip pan and all over the yellow sticky papers I set up. I don't think it's over yet but it stunted the growth.....might be a 120 day veg like my dood @ mandowngardening
    Peace bro.

      Pests are a pain to get ride of but a lot easier to kill off than say powdery mildew. I had a fungus gnat issue with this grow and mosquito bits have helped control a kill most of them just a few left to deal with. Sucks your plants stunted, they should bounce back given enough time to recover.

    Warm dry air ? A fan heater then , no good for a tent

    • @EasternGrows757
      @EasternGrows757  24 дні тому

      So far it’s keeping my 4x4 tent at 76F but I’m thinking this heater is more suited for a 3x3 and smaller. It taking everything it’s got to keep the 4x4 temp above 74F. I have to say I did expect more from this heater.

    Mine was garbage got it a week ago didn’t get up to par in the tents. Wouldn’t get past 63 when I wrote them they didn’t want to replace it. They don’t want to refund me, but I ended up fixing it by doing a factory reset if you have that problem hold down the power button for seven seconds

    • @EasternGrows757
      @EasternGrows757  25 днів тому +1

      So far I Ive had no issues with mine. Now I’m expecting this heater to need some help keeping up as the outside temps get colder. Growing in a unsealed non heated garage has been somewhat of a challenge. That’s odd that they wouldn’t replace or refund but at least you were able to fix the issue. Hope it’s working better for you now.
