    Need to get you the Fleece coolant bypass and their Coolant riser delete. I believe both together are around $500. Help out with the temps and clean up the lines a little.

    The 369 is supposed to be a great turbo. Now you have to put a s488 or gt55 compounded top of it. That's when you really will start to have fun. I have a 7875 over s488. Every time I stab my throttle I always grin ear to ear.

    Also, hit those diffs with 4.30’s. I’m running 35’s. It’s great but if I was making more trips to Florida from Texas, I’d run 3.73’s or 4.10’s. My Speedo would be about perfect with 4.10’s. It’s off about 3-5 mph as is

      Not sure what your experience is with these Cummins but if you don’t want to spend a holy shit ton of money, keeping it simple is key. I loved mine after doing the def and egr delete with custom tune. Truck was night and day and dependable. At the stage he is now, you have to upgrade valve springs and pushrods. You will have to upgrade the trans internals. I’ve got basically the same setup he has but with different brand swap kit. I ran the stock trans with the revmax 700 torque converter and revmax valve body upgrades up until 2 weeks ago. Main shaft finally snapped. Just dropped 8 grand on a proper built trans from jasper. Will see how it holds up

    After coming from compound set up, what do you prefer? I am looking at upgrading turbo set up now. You seem like someone that keeps it real. I don’t do much towing. If I do it pretty light. Looking to make 600-700hp range. I am currently debating a 2nd gen swap s464 then adding a 475 latter on down tue road. Any thoughts.

      I ran my 68 with the revmax 700 torque converter and valvebody upgrades. I didnt do but 2 burn outs and didnt drag race the thing and got a few years out of it. She just popped the main shaft a few weeks ago and i now have a 950hp rated build from Jasper. Its got a 3 year/300,000 mile warranty. Fingers crossed she holds up. lol

    The turbo will definitely get louder with WCFab cold air intake tube 💯 I felt your pain back before I went with compounds...I squeezed a S467 in the stock location! It sucked but made it work. Hell yeah throw fuel at that 369 and be easy on that transmission 🤣 Or you'll be making a transmission video...

      I just put a new built trans in mine. Lasted a few years on the original trans but with revmax torque converter and valve body upgrade. I never tried drag racing the thing ever either. Lol

      Yea I put a 480 down there and it was a tight fit I had to shave the shock bucket wall down. Got some stuff loaded for the boost pipes

    man, where was this video 2 months ago... i guess minds think alike. i just put in the same exact turbo and manifold on my 2010 right before you put out this video. and just like you, the drain kicked my ass! i do have a question...
    im running great, just got the truck retuned and want to put on a cold air intake system. Bought a S&B which said "would fit since the turbo is in the same spot as the OEM turbo." long story short, tried to install and the neck up to the filter wouldnt fit due to the spacing difference between the new turbo and the oil filter. $400 down the drain it seems. so my question, have you had any leads on a after market cold air intake kit? If so, which one? i contacted smeding/ mdc to see if they recommend a kit and waiting on a reply. And of course, this question is for anyone else reading this comment. a point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!

    When you changed out your head studs did you machine the head or did you just swap studs? And did you have to retune after you 2nd gen swapped?

    What bracket do you have that hold the heater hose and trans dip stick? Just did manifold and turbo on my 2015 and need to either make a bracket or hopefully buy one that will bolt up to the head and hold everything together

      S369 good for around 600-650ish. The turbine wheel limits it from running higher hp, s300 turbos aren't usually for performance unless u compounding them but they will run though.

      I’m running the 369 stock cp3 and stock injectors. I estimate the truck is around 550-600. 130mph is nothing and gets there in no time

      It's a good turbo and it spools pretty quick just a sec or 2 slower than stock but the trade off is worth it.

    Did you have any codes. Im getting a damn red lightning bolt and throwing actuator code. Thinking of pitting this turbo on but these turbos dont have speed sensors or actuator so hows the computer gonna know eveuthing is ok, smedinh said it wont throw a code this true ?

      The turbo won't decide if it throws a code your tuning will. If your tuning doesn't have the option to disable to actuator code it will pop if u swap your turbo to a non vgt

      If you want to keep the exhaust brake, your best bet is a Fleece Cheetah VGT turbo

    How bad was your rail pressure affected without the air dog? Debating on getting my 363sxe/480 compound on but still saving for a lift pump

      If you're running stock CP3 and injector, you don't need a lift pump. Still not a bad idea, but not necessary on stock fuel.

      @@monsterram6617 youre right but he wont get full benefit from the compounds i think. I would think it would be tuned down quite a bit to be able to keep the air out of the lines. just my thoughts though. I put on a fass 165 just to make sure i had enough pushed to my cp3

      @@4th_gen_mahem303 Regardless of the amount of air he's pushing into the engine, whether compounds or a single, the stock fuel system can only move so much fuel which means that's where the limiting factor lies. If the fuel rail doesn't lose pressure at max effort the lift pump is keeping up with the CP3 and the CP3 is keeping up with the injectors. The OE lift pump is adequate for stock CP3/injectors but not great, so certainly there's nothing wrong with getting a constant 16psi and better filtration, plus filter changes are a lot easier.
      That aside, if he is going with compounds he's going to have to have it tuned down, at least in the lower RPM range. Making high torque at low RPM with stock 6.7 con rods is a disaster waiting to happen. There's only a few people out there running a compound set like that on stock rods and they all have the shift points pushed to 2500+RPM and the timing pulled back at low RPMs. To achieve this requires a ton of trial and error custom tuning which was hard to find a few years ago and now damn near impossible unless you personally know someone inside the tuner community.
      If he's on the fence, I'd recommend he go with a single turbo and perhaps check out the DPS Turbonator VGT as an add-on. Compounds are awesome, but on a stock 6.7 long block I think he'd have just as much fun and less problems with a single. Many people have bent/broke stock 6.7 con rods with compounds and wager he doesn't want to be one of them.

      @@monsterram6617 im refering to air in the fuel lines due to lack of fuel being able to come from the tank to the cp3. I understand all of what your saying and agree. I upgraded my rods and lift springs for the rpm capabilities. So glad I did. Honestly, I dont think I will upgrade my cp3 or injectors just because cost versus reward at this time. If the cost can eventually go down, which i doubt it does any time soon, I may but my truck is awesome for pulling and can already outrun just about everything around me. lol
