SRI LANKA: Down the East Coast (Part 2 of 4)

The next part of our trip was spent along the East Coast: Trincomalee, Batticoloa and Aragum Bay. Being slightly off the beaten tourist track, these towns offered us beautiful beaches, farmlands and nature reserves without the crowds seen down South. When we weren't watching surfers catching waves or feasting on freshly caught seafood, we were getting to know the locals that were so warm and welcoming. Our time on the East Coast was a highlight of our entire trip and it fast became a destination we'll be visiting again in future.

Stumbled upon this and its rare for me to comment at all, but this was great. Nice balance between informative and biographical experience. The tone was great too, good choice of music, type font and so on. Nailed it. Also helpful as I'm planning to visit the East Coast in late May 🙂
